Introduction A member of the board of the Massachusetts Wood Producers Association, Genevieve Fraser is a professional writer, former Exhibits Developer for the New England Science Center, and Environmental Technical Writer. In 1984-85, Genevieve was the state-wide coordinator for the Massachusetts Acid Rain Awareness Weeks and received an Environmental Commendation from the Massachusetts Secretary of the Environment for her efforts. In 1997, she was commissioned by the Commonwealth to write the EcoTheater drama, "Giants in the Wilderness with John Muir," which toured as part of the Centennial Celebration of the Massachusetts State Forest and Park System. Genevieve is a former aide to State Senator Robert D. Wetmore (D-Barre), the author of the "Environmental Bill of Rights" amendment to the Massachusetts Constitution. She currently serves on the Orange Conservation Commission, and has served on the Barre Solid Waste Study Committee and as a member of the Board of Health for the Town of Barre, MA.
