| Introduction | Founder of the Portland ArtCar Revival Club, and creator of The Cosmos, The Monarch, and the Octopod cars. I have lived in Portland for 10 years and was inspired by Rev. Linville's artcars at the Hawthorne Street Fair in 1998. I made my first car in 2000 and began making connections with other artcar artists in the Northwest by attending WestFest in San Fansisco and Seattle's Blowout. I was commissioned in 2003 to make the Monarch as a model for the ArtCar Factory concept in Los Angeles. In addition to driveable art, I participate in Alberta's Last Thursday event regularly, selling my works of decopage and glitter. The Octopod was created out of inspiration of my son's love of cephalapods, and this car is dedicated to him. |
