Since I finished reading Rg Veda, I'm posting some quick comments about the series. So SPOILERS follow:

Well, it seems that everybody dies on the last volume ·__· I especially felt sorry for the Dragon King, perhaps 'cos he's the first in dying, and very sorry for Kujaku too, I love that character T__T
I rather prefer grown-up Ashura, no matter how evil s/he can be, than the childish one. S/he got very annoying at times XD
On a lighter note, I couldn't have imagined that Taishaku and King Ashura were in love! ♥ It's sweet, haha.

Finally I bought Death Note 13, not disappointing at all. I've glanced through its pages, and it's full of fun info. Ryuk's diary is just hilarious XD. It also includes a card with L's true name inside a closed envelope. Yeah, I know that all fans know L's name already XD, but it's cool.

Besides Ace Attorney, I'm also playing Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. It's an awesome game, the riddles are fun, and sometimes difficult too, and it's full of cute graphics. Voice actors do a good job too. In the Spanish dubbing, Layton's voice is truly beautiful and sexy.

I watched also Hachiko. Aww. The doggie is so cute, and the plot so beautiful and sad T__T Be prepared to cry, if you're going to watch it.

Finally, Death Note 13 (How to read) and the two Death Note novels have been released here. I don't care about the novels, but I'm looking forward to the How to read. Actually I went to the comic store already, but it wasn't on sale yet ·_· I bought the final Rg Veda volume anyway.
So now that this series finishes, I don't know what manga may I start reading. I'm at a loss XD Kuroshitsuji seems cool, but it hasn't been released on my country, and I don't like to read scanlations.

By the way, next month there'll be another comic convention here. And now the question I never thought I'd ask myself XD: will I go to the con or not? If you've read my previous posts, lately I'm sort of disappointed about cons, so going to the next probably will be just a waste of time for me... So probably I'll go only if there's a stand selling BJD stuff, or any interesting activities.

Speaking about BJDs, Some weeks ago I've changed the layout of Yuki's site, and while looking for web materials discovered that the Image site seems to be down T__T It's a pity, I really liked it.

Bunnies not for dinner

The Japanese dinner (see previous post) was great as expected. Among other things, we had makizushi, and miso soup. I just love miso soup ♥ And we also had my favourite dessert: bean and green tea ice-cream!

I wish also to pimp this entry from Cute Overload: it's about a Japanese coffee-shop where people can pet bunnies ^__^ But, are they really happy living like that? ·_·

So.
Well, to calm down my anger I'm going to tell you about yesterday shopping XD I bought a very nice brown coat, and a cute flowery shirt ^__^ I looked for trousers too: some days ago I found that most of my winter trousers don't fit me any more, LoL. So yesterday I planned to buy at least one pair, but no way: they were either too tight or too big for me XD Actually I've checked only two shops, so I must resume the trousers-hunting.

Tomorrow I have another dinner with the guys of my Japanese school. So food will be one of the topics of my next post.

New clothes for cool guys

Hi there ^__^
Today I've received some Dollmore stuff I've ordered for Yuki: underwear, trousers and a jumper :D He was in dire need of new underwear, I've sewn him two pair of boxers but they don't look so good, LoL. I should take some new photos of him soon.

I've also finished reading Gravitation Ex. 1. So SPOILERS follow:
While I still maintain the same opinion about the plot, I ended up liking this volume. Although the flying panda annoys me ¬¬ Yuki almost got knocked down by a truck, and due to that he became half blind. So yeah, a bit of angst is cool ^^U Oh, and I absolutely love when Yuki begs Ryuichi to not to get Shuichi for himself. Aww.
Speaking of Ryuichi, at the end he seems to be interested more in Tatsuha than in Shûichi XD And Shûichi does show a bit of attraction towards Ryuichi, although no doubt he's totally in love with Yuki.

It's a pity that there're no more published volumes so far... I've looked through the net and it seems that in Japan the series was stopped after volume 1 was released, but I've found spoilers from next chapters, so I don't know.

Hi guys! :D New entry ahead.

Changed the blog layout ^__^, now it has Dee from Fake on it.

About my current "art status", more here. Yesterday I grabbed my Copic markers and did a picture of Yuki, though. But I want to take it easy, anyway.

The Anne Frank Foundation has released a YouTube channel. It's full of interesting videos, but the most amazing and touching is probably this one: during the filming of a wedding, Anne is seen peeping out of her window, looking outside. The web says that these are the only captured film images of the girl. In case you didn't recognize her, she appears approximately at min. 0:09, at the left of the screen.
*sigh*

I'm not sure if you Livejournal users are going to read this, but sorry for not checking your entries -_- Since I don't post anything there, I usually forgot about the site, but I'll try for now on to log more often.

I've also started reading Gravitation Ex. Not finished yet, but some SPOILERS follow:
I've only read the first chapter and half of the second, but I've found it a bit disappointing: the relationship between Yuki and Shûichi doesn't seem to evolve, Yuki is still rude with Shûichi and Shûichi is all hyperactive. Now Kitazawa had a son, and Ryuichi flirts with Shûichi, but besides of that, there seem to be no changes ·_· I had hoped to see Yuki and Shûichi get closer somehow, it'd be better for the plot, so not to be like a reenactment of the first part. And it'd make my fangirl side happier too XD
I wonder if the title Gravitation is actually hinting to that: two bodies moving around each other, never get too far, but never close enough. We'll see.

By the way, I've also became a fan of Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney game, they make such an awesome work, and romantic, pair :D *random comment*

Ungeeking myself

The manga convention, as I said in my previous post, was rather unexciting. So yeah, I think the time of going to cons is finishing... I suppose I'll go to next one anyway, but you know what I mean.

I've just finished Fruits Basket. Although it isn't my favourite manga, it was a very cute reading. I feel like commenting about some of the couples, so beware of SPOILERS:

Tohru and Kyou, and Machi and Yuki are cute couples indeed. Tohru gets on my nerves sometimes though, with all hers "I'm so sorry!" and stuff.
I loved that Uotani and Kureno ended up together. I was so happy that Kureno didn't got killed at last. He wasn't a really interesting character (in fact he seemed to me rather bland), but I felt sorry for Uo.
Honestly I don't know what to think about Akito and Shigure ·_· Not that I dislike them entirely, but I neither can say that I like them being together.
Definitely, the master and Hanajima don't belong >__<

I also finished last book by Ana María Matute, Paraíso inhabitado (Lonely paradise in English, although I think the book hasn't been translated yet) It was a very cute story too, but...

Feeling mainstream

There will be a mini manga convention soon and, as you can imagine, I'll go there to have a look. But I have mixed feelings about it: as I've said in previous entries, while I like reading manga, I'm not that close to the "otaku atmosphere", for lack of a better word. Anyway I'm going and enjoy it as much as I can. I won't carry Yuki along, 'cos it doesn't seem to be any BJD related stand, and 'cos he's quite heavy, LoL

I've finished also my German exams. The writing part wasn't so bad, but I was dumb on the oral exam, as usual ·_· Marks will be ready next week.

I'm so looking forward to see, Inglorious Basterds, and District 9. You can watch Tarantino film teaser here.

Went to the theatre, and to the cinema too. I watched Up and The boss of it all. Up was just great, I usually don't like that sort of films, but this one was so lovely. The boss of it all was ok, quite fun at times.

I has Vista, and other things

Yep, as you may have guessed by the title, I'm using Windows Vista right now. My old computer was so terribly slow, that finally I went to the computer store to buy a new one. I'm terribly happy with it, it's so quick and pretty. At first I didn't want to update to Vista, but now I don't regret it :D

About art, I've opened an account at ConceptArt, and I'm submitting my sketches there *points to link at sidebar*

By the way, despite what I've said in a previous post, I've ended liking new Sanami Matoh's style XD Once I got used to it, I started to recognize Matoh's drawing traits there. Since I want to change the blog layout again, perhaps I'm going to use one of her new pictures, LoL

Some comments about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which I watched some days ago. Beware of SPOILERS:

Young Tom Riddle is much scarier than older Voldemort O_o Eek.
Alan Rickman was brilliant, as usual. I loved how Slughorn was played, too. I actually didn't like the character on the books very much, but on the film he was so eccentric and snob.
I enjoyed a lot the romantic bits among the guys. My favourite scene by far was Hermione looking after Ron at the hospital wing. Aww ^__^
Draco wasn't angsty enough ·_·

I'm in a sewing spree lately. I've done a sleeveless T-shirt for Yuki, and I'm sewing a pair of matching glove-thingies right now. As soon as I finish the gloves, I'll post pictures online :D
By the way, I dreamt last night of Yuki in a full lolita dress XD The dress was quite cute: black with a colourful pattern, and pink lace. Now I want to put Yuki in a skirt XD

I'm in a sort of Fake mood too(I'm speaking about the manga, not that my mood is fake, LoL) I've read the series some time ago, but now I'm glancing through the manga again, and I remembered how great it is. There's a sequel published in Japan already, as far as I know. I can't wait to see it translated :D
Below there's the opening of the anime OAV, which has a just so beautiful song ^__^ And this is a real compliment 'cos, although I'm studying Japanese, usually I don't enjoy Japanese songs very much ^^U (note that there're two men kissing on the video, in case you feel unconfortable by it)

About art, my art block/unmotivation/whatever is almost gone. I'm feeling comfortable drawing again, although I've coloured some stuff and didn't like the result. So I'm sticking to just sketching at the moment.
My DeviantART subscription run out, but I'm not planning to renew it soon, since I'm not drawing that much. Besides, I miss more feedback on the site. I'm not talking about receiving flattering comments, but about critique to my work. Critique is a key for improving, I think, and I used to turn on the "advanced critique" option on my submissions, but I have seldom received any comment of the sort ^^U So... Of course I know that there's no time to comment in every submission of the watching list, I myself just comment on less than a half of the pics I have on my inbox, but it's a bit frustrating anyway...
There's this site in which you can submit your art just for critique, but I can't remember its name, LoL.

Probably you know already that Michael Jackson has died. I wasn't a big fan of him or his music, but I do believe that he was a great musician, and that he deserved to be called the King of Pop. I feel sort of sad... I have the feeling that he wasn't truly happy during his life. May he find happiness now.

After two tests, now an entry with more content, LoL
Work has been pretty hectic last days, but now stuff is sorted out, and I'm quite happy with how things have turned out :D

I went also to the book fair. Among other books; I bought The Never Ending Story in German. It was one of my favourite books when I was a kid, and having now the chance to read it in its original language it's sort of special for me ^__^
By the way, I have so many books and mangas for reading right now XD

About art, my DeviantART subscription is almost finished. Not sure if I'll buy another one or not. I'm trying to do sketches in a regular basis too, I haven't got much time right now 'cos I'll have my German exams soon >__<, but I'm trying to sneak some time for it.
I'm also working again on revamping and updating my original characters, and started to write new stuff about them. Nope, there're almost no chance that I'll upload those stories anywhere ^^U: most of them aren't finished, or are just little drabbles, and besides, for any odd reason, I like to keep them for myself.

Today, visit to a museum and lunch in a Cuban restaurant with friends. Yummy food ^__^ This afternoon there was a hail storm, luckily I was at home XD

Now I'm going to bore you with more art-rant ^^U, I've been colouring some stuff those last days, but still feel like meh about drawing. On the other hand, I feel that, if I don't draw, I need to, um, spend my creativity in something else. Yes, I know it sounds weird =_= Anyway, I'm trying to start writing again. I used (or tried) to write sword and sorcery stories a long time ago (I was a huge fan of fantasy back then), and in more recent times I wrote some original little stories about my character Alexander (more info here, although it's quite outdated), and fanfiction. Most of them aren't finished, though.

I'm thinking about giving up drawing... ·_· If not forever, at least for a time. Hm, it's like I'm so focused on improving that I don't enjoy drawing as I've used to... Difficult to explain. But anyway I need a break, even from sketching.

I've started to read Rg Veda by Clamp. Can't comment much about it at the moment 'cos I'm reading the first volume still, but the artwork is cute and there're bishies, LoL.
A little spoiler
I'm sort of fooled by Ashura's gender XD At the net it's said that s/he's genderless and is referred as "he", but in my copy of the manga s/he's female. So yeah, translation matters, I suppose.

By the way, I sort of miss being more into a fandom, like in the good ol' times of Yami no Matsuei and Death Note. I actually got a bit hooked on Hetalia, but reading it on the computer (it's a web comic) is tiring. Well, perhaps I'll end getting high on Rg Veda, who knows :D
