You can take it as is or not. When it comes to rap or any other type music, people say wut will sell. U can either like it or not. Everyone has an opinion jus like everyone has an a$$hole. Just b/c a song talks about gangs, sex, drugs or wutever doesnt mean its bad. I just wish people would leave music alone and quit sayin that "the music made me do it". This type has a negative enfluence which is using sex,drugs, and violence loaded statements to put forth the "tough" persona and rebellion. Similar to the black leather, slicked back look of the late 50's. Each generation has its "rallying point," and this type seems to be the one for this generation. My personal concern is over the obvious "coldness" towards females as if they are so inferior that they can be used, abused, and disposable objects. Most parents only know the type of music and wonder, "How can you listen to that stuff and you can't understand a word they are saying?"
