While their vehicle, such as the LS 600h, might not be a great car for the environment, etc., it's still an investment in hybrid technology.Dahcredynshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17687525897516386077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9844581.post-32342047862742974732007-07-17T09:12:00.000-07:002007-07-17T09:12:00.000-07:00A gas-guzzling hybrid - a bad idea whose time will...A gas-guzzling hybrid - a bad idea whose time will never come. In 2002, I sold a Lexus SUV and purchased the first Honda Civic Hybrid in Salisbury, MD. I did it to support a technology I believe to be the near-term transitional technology of choice to help reduce oil consumption. This development - the Suburban Hybrid, Lexus LS 600h, etc. is just the latest example of the absolute wrong direction the automobile industry would have us go. I have money waiting for a chance to purchase a plug-in hybrid. It had better be a serious effort. I am not very forgiving of bad faith by car companies and GM has exhibited tons of it.Maturin42http://www.blogger.com/profile/13252510116668541097noreply@blogger.com
