I would prefer things like this come out during the campaign process as opposed to during the presidency. When Obama wins we want to be assured that America knows they are getting the WHOLE man and not just the parts they want to see. I've always admired and respected Rev. Pfleger for his work in the 'hood and inside his church, especially since he's a white man and has boldly gone against traditions of the Catholic Church that haven't made the best impression on the African-American community as a whole.

So I'm shocked and upset at Rev. Pfleger's recent actions and quite concerned that it could hurt Obama's chances.

its an odd position /c I KNOW the press club thing was intentional and it worked to perfection. Alas, I don't know on this one. Pfleger is so political savvy and to do it at TRINITY of all places baffles me. I want to chalk it up to old people once again forgetting that the cameras are not only ALWAYS rolling but will be on repeat...In addition, this was unnecessary, intentional or not...
