Every day at work I receive at least 2 or 3 sales pitch calls from companies wanting to sell their services to us. I’ve had some good calls recently, but today’s experience just took the cake. Local author, Sheppard Higgins, fully clad in his cowboy regalia and 10-gallon hat, walked right past our little No Soliciting sign and into our office and exclaimed to me, “I wrote a book!
