Middleburgh Vit Ici Mum recently asked if I was a HK citizen. She was actually seeking clarification on my "residence" status. As it happens I have now lived here long enough that from this month I could apply for permanent residence status which would not be same as renouncing my UK/EU Citizenship although I am sure it might have other implications. Locally it would mean an end to annually
