New Containers

We have recieved two new containers of product. One container included a shipment of sky lanterns and silver and white bug rackets. The new shipment of sky lanterns includes white, color, Michigan State, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and pumpkin.

We have also recieved a new product for this halloween season called the "The Witches Realm". This is a rotating spin lantern that gives the illusion that witches are flying through the dark sky.

The second container included two familiar products from the 2009 season. "We Will Rock You" and "Smokin 'Aces" are now back in stock

Skylantern Arrival

We have recieved new stock of Skylanterns. We now have white and pumpkin skylanterns back in stock. You now have the option to choose from our original large pumpkin skylanterns or smaller pumpkin skylanterns. New Fireworks Products For 2009 Season

Our trip to China in July was a big success. We were able to get in and out of China before the Olympics. This allowed us to place our orders earlier which means earlier production and shipment.
We are excited about our new product line up. We will add over 300 private label items to the Bigfireworks line. We are very excited about the new items which are truly new and unique. Also we added many value items. Not cheap - inexpensive with high quality effects at a great price.
Currently we have finished over 100 new label designs with new products already starting to ship. I will be posting the new labels and descriptions as the products ship.

Here is what I have so far, let me know if you would like me to add anything I have to check it over and polish it up as well before its final and I have to add some more stuff but this was all thats on my mind right now.

Wholesale, how can that be such a scary word? Maybe because it means you have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars? That’s not always true. Yes, some companies do have a high limit but a lot of companies have limits of one thousand or more. Still can’t afford it? One word, a group buy, so that’s two words. A group buy is buying with a group of friends, family or fellow fanatics by combining all your funds and buying at wholesale. Which means, cheaper fireworks, with the same quality, and the best of all more fireworks!! There’s little tricks to group buys like trading a couple pieces with friends to get more variety but, we won’t get into that. We’re going to discuss buying wholesale for the first time. And what’s an article without some pros and cons? We’ll get into that as well.
Lets look at the scenario you’ve been buying from Phantom, or your corner store firework retailer for years. Always thinking you get that great deal with buy one get one free, or half off, etc. I thought the same thing. Then I heard of wholesale buying from an online forum. I was very skeptical at first. I was nervous because I shopped at a local stand for years and didn’t think I’d get the good deals with wholesale as I did being a regular going to the stand for years. So, I researched videos of a lot of different repeaters, artillery shells, etc. I had $800 to spend and I ended up buying a lot of stuff over 300 pieces to be exact. All repeaters and shells, nothing else. Since this article is on Bigs website I can say that all these products I got were better than the corner store. And I dealt with extremely nice people and will gladly purchase from there business for years to come.
After reading into wholesale; it’s the best way to go if you’re a firework fanatic! Something that used to cost $25 for one 12-shot repeater now costs $55 for 4 of them. That’s less than $15 a piece, and a savings of $45, which you can put in your wallet, or better yet, spend it on more fireworks. You buy fireworks in cases. Items in cases can range from one to any number. Ex: The case of 96 shot color pearls has 40 pieces in a case.
So what are the pros and cons of wholesale? We’ll start with the long list of pros. It’s cheaper per piece, your buying buy cases rather than pieces so your getting more. Now cons, if your not in a group buy and you don’t have friends that don’t want to pool the money then you have to spend a decent amount of cash. Most companies have stages of pricelist like Silver, Gold, Platinum, Etc. Basically the more you spend the cheaper the prices are going to get.

Michigan Fireworks Bill

Michigan Fireworks Bill

Here it is at last...................it's been almost 2 years in the making. The new Michigan Fireworks Bill will be introduced next week in committee. We have worked through over 20 versions of this Bill, this final version has comprimises but I believe it is very solid.

I want to take this opprutunity to thank Andy Webb from Captain Boom. If it wasnt for him this Bill would not even be a possibility. It was Andy that got the ball rolling and helped work on the Bill with us.

This legislation in Michigan will allow for the safe use of fireworks in this state. It will also help the State of Michigan with funding which is badly needed. I hope everyone supports this Bill and makes it a reality.

BigFireworks Is Now Blogging

I am pleased to announce that Big Fireworks.com has added a blog to our website. There will be weekly contributions from James Stajos, Eric Stajos, Tom Norris and Mark Joesph. We will covering a wide range of topics that concern the fireworks industry.

I will be covering news and events in our company. Eric will mainly be dealing with new products, arrivals, design and packaging. Tom will be giving technical updates as to upgrades to our website, videos and ordering. Mark will give an outsiders perspective on the use of fireworks primarily.

We will be inviting you to submit blogs also, the blogs will be moderated. But we would love to hear your thoughts, comments, feedback and any input. We want to hear everything whether its positive or negative. Hopefully its more positive but its the only way that we can make things better.

Warehouse Status
