Through this month (January 2008) there has been many ups and downs in the billboard top 100 songs and the world chart show top 30 songs. As for LyricsandSongs, there have been around 30 most viewed lyrics that I have combined their titles with a brief description of every one. The songs below are not orgnaized by popularity, but are -for sure- the most famous ones around the globe. Some of these are singles that were released recently to promote their albums which will be available within the coming months. For now enjoy the list, and feel free to click on any for the lyrics and the fans comments on each.

- FLO RIDA : LOW from album "MAIL ON SUNDAY"
Featuring T-Pain, but if we're talking about the remix, which was released a couple of days before, there is also Pitbull singing in the background. The song reached number one in the billboard hot 100 on the first week of January, and expectations for the album are pretty high.

- BRITNEY SPEARS : PIECE OF ME from album "BLACKOUT"
Although the song was released in November last year, It is now available on charts all over the world, where it varied on the scale from number 40 to number one. Although the song has Britney as the solo vocal, there is Robyn Carlsson as a background singer. The album "BlackOut" has been released, and "Piece of Me" is considered it's hit.

- NATASHA BEDINGFIELD : LOVE LIKE THIS from album "POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE"
This is a duet that Natasha sang with Sean Kingston. Critics views have varied, but the song was undoubtfully a success for Bedingfield. The song reached number 10 on the U.S charts. The video is available on Natasha's official website to watch.

- AVRIL LAVIGNE : HOT from album "THE BEST DAMN THING"
It reached number one in Lebannon and Philippine, and although it didn't reach that high in the U.S or UK charts, the song stayed available within these charts for almost a month. The song was not the first to be released from the album, but it was the first to video. Downloads of the video have been high on ITunes and other music websites, it has even been rated within the top 5 videos for December 2007.

- TIMBALAND : APOLOGIZE from album "TIMBALAND PRESENTS SHOCK VALUE"
The song is originally by "One Republic" which Timbaland released a remix of. Apparently the remix has hit the roof. With a slightly different beat and almost same lyrics, Timbaland has successfully entered the charts and stayed there for weeks.

NATASHA BEDINGFIELD : POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE (2008)
Natasha Bedingfield has hit the right spot of pop music again. After hanging in the "Top Ten 2007 songs" with Unwritten for weeks, Natasha has come back this year with an ultimate pop fun musical songs of the 2008 album "Pocketfull of Sunshine". As the album's title gives a feeling of hope and joy, the fourteen songs share a spirit of feminine emotions. This is the secound album for the British singer, and it proved to be as much a success as the first one. You probably should listen to the album if you are looking for an entertaining experience with light lyrics. The first single of the album LOVE LIKE THIS was released three months ago to promote the album. SARAH BRIGHTMAN : SYMPHONY (2008)
The album is to be released on the 29th of this month. As the official site of Brightman declares; the album should appeal to music lovers, simply because it combines multiple genres from Gothic to Classical. Sarah is known for the diversity of her musical style, and it seems that with this album she is trying to bring all these styles together. The album was recorded in both Germany and the UK and it contains 13 tracks. The album will be first heard through a TV interview with Sarah on the NBC channel next week. The album's songs will be all listed here as soon as it is officially out. Some of the tracks are:

It's the 3rd album for the R&B singer that will be released in June. Rihanna had Justin Timberlake and Timbaland with her on the album as well as Ne-yo and Jay-z.

Till now Keith has scored 21 "number-one-hits" on various charts, and now he is back with his latest album WHITE TRASH WITH MONEY (2006) which is expected to be on the top of the country chart lists, while the song "GET DRUNK AND BE SOMEBODY " already entered the charts and is also expected to stay there for a while.

Pink's latest album I'M NOT DEAD (2006) is really one nice album, , More POP that the ones before, but keeps its PINK style, very consistent, stuffed with quality music, and according to pink, this one has more of pink than any other, she said somewhere that she considers this her most personal of albums.... it is her 4th album anyway

Political opinion, Social issues, Personal advice, You name it, pink has it here, making this a real quality album !

I am not saying it is totally un-naughty (You and your hand below) exceeds the trait of suggestiveness by far... it is one little step from explicit.

Mr president reflects pink's political opinion for sure, since she is the song writer for the album, anyway, you may want to get inside the album by now, so i will get down to the track list now, click for the lyrics !

A better chart every week, this time, a top 60

After finding out how inaccurate my chart was last week, i have worked on a better chart, and now, here it is !

This week i have compiled the first 60 songs, i also compared my charts to other charts and i can confidentially say that i truly believe my chart is the most accurate

I really put great effort to say the word accurate, yet i assure you there is no accurate chart, if you are turning to sales, well... many people get there music from other places, From the internet, People with common characteristics connect to the internet for music biasing the sample again, Radio play, same goes for that (people who call), so i guess we will have to do with approximation....

so what i did was, i spent the day rovering many many music sites looking for there popular searches, then comparing there traffic and assigning weight to each website, i checked other charts and made sure my charts sound sensible, i took statistical measures, and finally, i came up with this. Also, rather than what's hot, lets see who is hot, the names, and the number of times they appear on the top 60 with either there songs, or they have been featured.

So here is the real deal this week, it seems MARIAH CAREY's THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI (2005) still sends songs to the top ! The Pussycat Dolls are still showing how a lion is just another cat, what do you know about catpower, Nickelback is cooling down a bit, Beyonce still burns in her coolest state !

So here are the top 6 while i compile more from everywhere (will post them here unless the entier thing changes by the time i am done, already i see new search terms rising !

Anyway, How am i compiling you may ask ?

Simple, First i find my chart sources, then see what those charts cover of the world (how many people are the population of the sample that made that chart), so i pick the clusters on the map of the world, find there charts, and compile them into one by multiplying against weight factors, so i think this is the most accurate chart in the world !

Talking about a trademark, i think i am going to call this "the world top 29" since the charts are always multiples of 10, this one is multiple of what :S oh, nothing its a prime number 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, *(29)*

One of my All Time Favorite bands (the smashing pumpkins) is probably re-uniting

Says Who ? Billy Corgan (the bands singer/guitarist)....

What makes me think he is going to succeed ?

Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin are friends and in touch, and nothing serious split the band... So him re-inviting them will probably work, also if it does not work, the line up could be changed.

So, lets just wait and see what happens....

Ok

The summer is only getting started, and i am starting to need lyrics for my job !

Strange enough, i am finding all the new lyrics at small websites here and there (mostly hosted free)...

Although i intend to point the lyrics at my partners (link partners) websites when i find the lyrics there, i really think i should be pointing out the lyrics at those small websites first when they are the ones who have the lyrics first, i think they either buy the albums with the lyrics, or they transcribe them, how else would they have them first ?

Anyway, till i find out what i am going to do, This is over and out for now...

NOTE: i got 2 link exchange Emails today, same format more or less, Anyway, got to get BZ getting those exchanges done :)

This website (lyricsvault) is so nice for many reasons, i have to mention that the guy DOES not host advertisement, he ends up paying for hosting !

Anyway... You can listen to a very nice radio station on the website, you can find those nice things from the 80's, Some history, informational website, You can listen to some music (few seconds of songs) but that is also i must admit very nice of the owner, Anyway he is not distributing them, he is streaming them through Macromedia Flash, and that is legal...

Although the website uses freefind for the search, everything works fine there, it is such a nice website....

In any case, Keep the good work up...

Ok, so now i have a few nice partners, let me tell yu what i have found out about there websites...

Ok, i have been using those sites for some time...

here is a bit about them in the order i am using them..

Lyrics And Songs.COM: Very interesting website, i love the search feature and the website speed (search also fast and very relevant), when i request a song, i get an Email in reply (same day at most), and they get all the lyrics for me, they need some work on marketing themselves those guys, maybe they are wasting all the time on adding new lyrics to make such a large collection.... AZ Lyrics is something small compared to all those websites, but it is doing well on the marketing level ! maybe coz it is one of the oldest.

Lyrics Vault is very nice lookintg website, Has a bit about the histroy of music (technology wise) , some radio station is playing while you look for lyrics and thats also very nice....
The lyrics collection is not that big, but it sure covers allot of the legends and good bands...
Also has a search feature that i didn't get the chance to test, The site is mostly in macromedia flash, this is a website i am always willing to spend time @ coz of the music on the pages, good work man

Lyrics Spot is also a NICE website, not the huge collection you can find some other places (like lyrics and songs and a few others who are not my partners so i will not mention them) but it is surely a nice website as well, nice things about it include but are not limited to, very neat design, songs are sorted into albums with the album's picture on the page...
although it says "song lyrics - 70,000+", my estimate does not even come close to that, so man, you better post a commant here and tell us what the deal is...

MP3 Song Lyrics is also a large lkyrics website that is coool..., the search feature is nice but only allows you to search the song's titles, not the content, i usually look for songs by searching for words within them ! thats what the net is all about init...
but it is a very nice website anyway !

So, People hae been replying my Emails and linking to us, Great knowing that we are only a few hours old, probably in a weeks time i will have enough PR to have a nice lyrics Blog...

Enough about that, it seems i already have nice content for the Blog, some new stuff i think everyone will like :)

I got strange info about artists, albums, comming soons, things you might not know (or you might if you work at EMI or something) and many other nice things, i will start with that as soon as i fiish exchanging links with those guys

Whats nice about the music industry is that it is full of nice people

i must point out that i have had prompt replys with very nice language for link exchanges, thats a nice sample of people working with music, im not used to nice people lets say, @ the office or anything that has to do with work, but here seems to be a different story, i am already excited about this :D
