I was lazing in and didn't get up till 9:30 - knowing there was no lettuce to give them, or anything else for that matter. So I hotfooted it out for some limp lettuce - 89 cents a head - and an apple at Fanny's market. Then their friend and my neighbor LH donated some CANTALOPE RINDS!!! their new fav for a special treat.
