In his usual frank and thorough way, George Monbiot </span><a style="font-style: italic;" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/apr/15/food.biofuels">tells it like it is in today’s Guardian</a><span style="font-style: italic;">; </span><em style="font-style: italic;">“In the midst of a global humanitarian crisis, we have just become legally obliged to use food as fuel.
