Speaker McCoy, a man of unquestioned character, leads an obstructionist clique of power hungry House members who were, unfortunately, appointed by him to make critical decisions for the all the people of this Mississippi.
Speaker McCoy, a man who is endowed with an abundance of moral fiber, leads the Democrat Caucus in blocking legislation that is favored by Gov. Barbour, the Mississippi Senate, a large percentage of House members and quite possibly the vast majority of fellow Mississippians.
Speaker McCoy, the man who fought off the undertaker as diligently as he fights off lobbyist, holds the gavel and the gumption to make a statement that the governor shouldn’t spend money we don’t have, and then leads the charge to demand more money for more projects from funding he is complaining we don't have!
Speaker McCoy, the man of strong timber when it comes rejecting even the slightest hint of impropriety, holds the gavel and the gumption to make a statement that these bonding bills can wait till the regular session, and then holds the legislature in session another day closer to the regular session--and at the same time pads the pockets of the very same legislators who made the previous statement that this session should not be called because we shouldn’t be spending money we don’t have on a special session. Are you following this?
No wonder fellow Mississippians are ready to riot. Even if it made sense, most people would be outraged. But this is so ridiculous that even Speaker McCoy has to wonder if he got out of bed a little to early.
SuperTalkMS.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02602208162576449710noreply@blogger.com
