I took this photo while I was in India in 2006. We went to Deshnok to visit Karnimata, which is a Hindu temple where they worship rats!! It was a crazy place to visit, there are a few other photos already in my blog that I took at this place. I was taking photographs of some kids and this man tapped me on my shoulder and pleaded I took photos of his son aswell. He was such a proud dad!!

Here is another photo of little Ollie. I took this at Jess's wedding, it was his first time out and about since leaving the hospital. He is just the cutest baby. Im sure there are going to be many photos to come of this little guy!

This photo was taken at Jess's wedding on the 5th May. I went to high school with all these girls, it was amazing to see them all again! It was great to be able to catch up with Kate and Jenni, who I have not seen much of in the last seven years. Ive know Roxy, Jess, Jenni and Kate since I was about five years old. Its so great to be able to catch up with them because we now all live in different places and when we do it feels like nothing has ever changed.

Last weekend I was my dear friends Jess and Wade's wedding. I meet Jess when we were in kindergarten about 20 years ago! She has been a great friend to me ever since and it was such an honor to be invited to her wedding. I was so excited to get to go to a wedding as a 'guest' without being the 'pro photographer'! (I never get to go as a guest!!) However I couldn't resist taking a few photos throughout the ceremony =) They had their ceremony in Albany out at Quaranup, it was cloudy all morning and we all thought it was going to rain for the ceremony, but just as Jess began walking down the aisle, the sun broke through the clouds, it was amazing day =)

This photo was taken of me and my two sisters at my sisters wedding last month. My sisters are beautiful girls and very talented! My little sister Renee is finishing up her last year studying fashion design, and is working towards becoming a fashion stylist. She also does work as a makeup artist. My older sister Kelly operates a restaurant (along with her husband, and my parents) down in Albany. I am hoping Kelly will start working with me as my marketing manager in the near future! Today Kelly worked with me on some marketing ideas which I hope on implementing soon, we came up with some great ideas and I plan on having some up on my website soon! =)

The following photos were all taken in Washington DC in January 2007. On our way back to Australia from the UK we had about 2 weeks in the USA traveling about. It was so strange to finally get to go to the USA... I was never really that keen on going, I just never found it that appealing, but we had such a greattttt time, I am already planning my next trip back. I am hoping to make it to Vegas for the WPPI next year.. maybe, maybe.

Well anyway Ive been working like crazy the last few weeks, I am currently doing my certificate 4 in small business management, while trying to set up my new office, redesign my new website and run a business in the mean time. (Ive got a new website being launched next week...) Its all great fun though and I am super super excited about moving into my new office in 2 WEEKS!! We are going to have a awesome party once we are all setup!!

For those of you who dont know what it is.... The Catacombs of Paris is a famous burial place in Paris, France. It is a network of subterranean tunnels and rooms located in what were Roman-era limestone quarries. The quarries were converted into a mass tomb near the end of the 18^th century (Wikipedia).

Well I've decided I need to post more of my travel photographs up, Ive been so busy setting up my photography business again I'm neglecting all of my other photography! Well the business is definitely back in to full swing again, and I must say life back as a photographer is lovely. As much as I loved living in London, nothing beats going to weddings every weekend and taking photos and playing with babies during the week!

My sister got married yesterday! Kelly looked stunning and very beautiful! (and Nathan looked very handsome too!!). The ceremony and reception was at The Rocks in Albany, which is a gorgeous old mansion with beautiful gardens. After the ceremony we headed down to Middleton Beach for the location photographs and then back to The Rocks for the cocktail party reception.

We all had such a great day, lots of great food and wine and The Lonely Brothers played awesome music, and we all danced the night away..... and I caught the bouquet!! ahhhhh!!! =)

I cant wait to get the photograph from the photographer (who was one of my best friends, Arlene Bax), its hilarious!!!!

Well my sister's wedding is finally here, only 4 more sleeps until the big day! We are heading down to Albany tomorrow to help out with any last minute preparations. She is having her ceremony and reception at the beautiful old mansion "The Rocks" . After photographing many weddings over the past 5 years, this is the first wedding I am going as a guest and not the photographer! However I will not be able to help myself - my cameras will be coming along!

Yesterday I was granted membership of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA)! I used to be a member and when I went traveling I didnt not renew, that that I am back I reapplied for membership, I am glad they have accepted me back as a member!

Ive just did a mini redesign of my website, I was unhappy with the background colour in my last design as it was appearing a different colour on everyones computer.

Ive been down in Albany the past two weeks working on a landscape photography project. Even though im not engaged, Ive decided that I want to have my wedding at William Bay near Denmark, its the most beautiful beach in the entire world! After traveling overseas for the past year I have came to appreciate how beautiful the Great Southern coastline of Australia is so so beautiful.
