eWEBGURU India Web Hosting Review

Toady i realised that i choosed ewebguru as the wrong web host for hosting my website www.icbse.com

I am writing only my personal views about ewebguru.com as Web Host in this post.

UPDATE: Now i chnaged my web host from ewebguru to hostgator, which i think is world class web server in reliability.

Few days ago i posted one post on my site about AIEEE solutions and when it started getting popular on google and getting high traffic( around 50 users online ) then my Web Host i.e eWebGuru.com shut my site without giving any warning mail or anything.

I took the Gold Plan in Dec. 2008 and in starting they were giving good uptime but after 2 months my site gets regular downtime.

Now when theres turn for traffic on my site they removed my site from there server.Then i called the ewebguru on mobile numbers given on there site that are

9968518368, 9811371323, 9711860492

But i get no replies.One of them was switched off, other one not picking and third one switched off.

Then i talked to Ashok Arora of eWebGuru on Yahoo Messenger.He told me that there hard disk is crashed, I said ok, this happens with everybody and when i asked when will my site get alive, he replied your site will be live after 24-48 hours..

My site iCBSE.com was on the same server as of ewebguru.com, i crosschecked the Reverse IP domain of ewebguru.com means i checked how many sites are hosted on the server of ewebguru.com

On 28/4/2009 671 domains hosted on the same web server as ewebguru.com (66.232.119.78).You can download the pdf file from here if you want proof.

I shocked to see that my site was not there and all the other sites were running fine except mine only.

So this is confirmed that ewebguru.com servers are only for dead websites which do not get any traffic.Now if you are opting ewebguru for your site then think before taking any step.

Hello friends, in this tutorial i will tell u how to customize and add animated blog's headlines in blogger blog. Getting an Animated banner with rotating headlines is very easy. You don't have to design for such banners, just register an account at www.feedburner.com and they themselves create such banners for you freely. Follow this simple steps.....

First you will have to register at Feedburner and burn your blog feed as shown in Feedburner and Blog Feeds ( as shown in pic).
Then login to your account and click on your Blog name. Click on Publicize and then on Headline animator ... Scroll down till you come to ClickThrough URL. Here paste the URL of your blog. This is because you will be using it in the header. Then click the drop down arrow under Theme and select Provide Your own Background. In Background Image URL box paste the Url of the image you have Uploaded to a freehost .and click the Load Button. The image will appear in the bottom. Click and drag the Title, Date and post titles headings to position the and then click on activate. Scroll upwards and click the Down arrow in Add To text box. Select "Other. Just Gimme the code" at the bottom. Click Next to get the code and paste this code in your Html/Javascript Page Element in the blog header. See the one I created below :
Now to get the code by selecting the other(just gemme the code) in drop down menu above . After getting the code u can place it in your header or u can place it below every post or u can place it at side of the the blog(as widget).

To place it below every post...sign in into blogger »» Layout »» Edit HTML .. then search for and just below this add code of headline animator u have created.

Tips to increase bittorrent download Speed

The latest file sharing protocol bittorrent has modified everything when it comes to file sharing. It is a nice platform for downloading large files. Sharing of files include movies, iso images and MP3 songs. Bittorent is mainly famous for illegal file sharing .The Bittorrent system can be slow at times due to heavy traffic.Here is a few tips to speed up uTorrent Client. Similar can be implemented on any other torrent clients ,which you are using.

Step 1: Increase TCP connections

You need to increase the number of TCP connections that are allowed at max.Windows XP Service Pack 2 came with the number of allowed open connections to 10. This is to stop any piece of spyware(in our case bittorent client even) from totally taking over your internet connection. TCP connection allowed should be 50 for optimal performance. The best way to increase the maximum number of connections is to apply patch that is available at www.lvllord.de. A nice way to fix this is to download this patch .

The little tweak to the torrent client works great in certain times. If you’re using uTorrent go to Options menu then Preferences. In the Preferences go the Advanced Options.

In the advanced options change the net.max_halfopen connections to 80. In the same section change the max half open tcp connections to 80. Once your done click on OK and you are all set. This tweak will let the maximum TCP connection available for the bittorrent client. Now start downloading you’ll realize a little difference in the download speed. Port forwarding technique is more effective than this.

A third point of interest is that some “windows updates” revert your tweaked tcp connections back to 10. So it’s wise to check this every now and then. You can check this by going to (in windows xp) Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System… Look for event 4226 (sort by event).
If there are a lot of daily occurences it’s likely that the max amount of half-open tcp connections was set back to 10. Or you’re infected with some nasty spyware…

Step 2:Torrent Client Configuration
In order to apply these tips you must know your maximum up- and download speed. You can test your bandwidth over here (stop all download activity while testing).

Settings 1-4 can be found in the options, settings or preference tab of most torrent clients.

1. Maximum upload speed

Probably the most important setting there is. Your connection is (sort of) like a pipeline, if you use you maximum upload speed there’s not enough space left for the files you are downloading. So you have to cap your upload speed.

Use the following formula to determine your optimal upload speed…80% of your maximum upload speed. So if your maximum upload speed is 40 kB/s, the optimal upload rate is 32kB/s

Do you ever want to access your desktop, or shortcut icons on your desktop when your screen is cluttered with windows which you don't want to minimize?

A simple solution. Place a shortcut to your desktop atop your START Menu. Here's how:

1) Right click on your TASKBAR and choose PROPERTIES.
2) Select the START MENU PROGRAMS tab, then the ADVANCED button.
3) In the right panel, under the PROGRAMS folder, you will see any shortcuts you have already placed atop your START menu. Right click here in the white space here and choose NEW, then SHORTCUT.

4. In the command line for your shortcut, type c:\windows\desktop (If your Windows directory has another name, substitute that name for windows).

5. Click NEXT. Then in the name box, name your shortcut Desktop.

6. Click the FINISH button.

7. Close the Explorer window, then click ok in TASKBAR PROPERTIES.

8. Now, open START on your taskbar. VOILA! Your desktop folder icon should be visible. Click it to open your desktop folder.
Success!
You will now be able to view and access your desktop shortcut icons (not non-shortcut icons). If you want ALL desktop icons to be visible (Recycle Bin, My Computer etc.), you will need to place shortcuts to these other icons on your desktop.
Hint:
If you normally hide your taskbar, so that it is not always on top of other windows, you can access it at any time from any program by pressing and holding control, then pressing escape (the ESC key at top left of your keyboard). You may then quickly choose your desktop folder and access desktop icons as well as any other programs accessible via your taskbar and programs menu.

Hacking internet Cafe

Basic overview of this tutorial is if there's some kind of timer or client
software on the computer you're using at the Net Cafe you can hopefully disable it.

Firstly we need to gain access to command prompt (cmd.exe) to do this there's a few
ways.

1) The most basic is to go Start/Run/cmd.exe and a black input screen should pop up.
Say that's disabled then we can try some other methods.

2) Press the Windows Logo + R and it will start run up. (hopefully)

3) Navigate your way to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and run cmd.exe from in there.

4) Open notepad type "cmd.exe" without the quotation marks ("") and then
go to File/Save As.. and type the name for the file and have it end with
.bat for example "MyNewFile.bat" and select Save as type and select All Files.

Make sure to save it somewhere you can access it, Like the desktop.

If they have deleted Notepad then go in to Internet Explorer and right click
and select View Source or on the menu bar click View then source and perform the
same process as above.

Once you have done this you can run the file. If you can't open files from the desktop
then go back into Internet Explorer and go to View/Explorer Bar/Folders and navigate to
the Desktop and it will show the saves files on the desktop in a folder type window.

Once you have access to command prompt you can perform some usefull actions e.g shutdown
programs, shutdown other peoples computers, add new accounts.

Ok, well most Net cafes have software running that boots you off of the machine after a certain
ammount of time unless you pay for more time. Well, we don't want that to happen now do we?

Firstly try figure out the Net Cafes timeing/credit softwares name cause this can help.

For more info on the software running we can use the command "tasklist" inside of command prompt.

example: "tasklist" (without quotation marks)

Basicly it brings up all the processes running.

Now say we know the process name for the Net Cafes software we need to disable it. So, how do we do that?
we use "taskkill" >:]

Basicly kills the process we specifcy. Say the Net Cafes software is "Timer.exe" for example and it's shown in
the task list like that we would do this.

example: "taskkill /im Timer.exe /f"

/im : is for image name. Not quite sure what it means, but we need it.

Timer.exe : that's the Net cafes software/process name (example)

/f : Forcefully shuts the program.

Now hopefully your Net Cafes software is terminated and you can freely use their computer with no time restriction.

If you have no luck finding the Net Cafes software name then just try ending processes that Windows Doesn't rely on.

Perhaps you want to have a little fun with people on the network at the Net cafe? well here's a few things for you
to do with command prompt.

Find the people on the network with "net view" and it will list the other computers names on the network.

The shutdown command. Basically the shutdown command will shutdown a computer on the network or your own computer (comes in
handy)

example: "shutdown -s -m HJCPwnts -t 20 -c You're being shutdown"

use "shutdown -a" to cancel this action so you don't shut your own computer down.

-s : sets the shutdown action.

-m : specify the computer name (HJCPwts) that's what my computer name would be on the network. (to find out
how to find computer names use net view. It will list the other computer names.)

-t : the time until shutdown in seconds. Just specify it for 0 if you want it instant.

-c : the comment that will be shown on the shutdown window (not needed, but goo to leave the victim a message)

-f : I left this one out because it shuts the applications the user is running down, but add it on the end when doing
it to someone else.

Now for some more stuff. Perhaps we want to create a new account on this computer and login to it? Well, lets do it then. Ok, this is how we do it.

In command prompt type "net user CoolGuy /add" this basically adds a new user by the name of CoolGuy. Simple ehh?
well we have struck a problemo. How the hell do we login to that account? EASY!

In fact we have already covered most of it. We will be using the shutdown command again.

"shutdown -l" : basicly this logs us out and we can log back in with the CoolGuy account.

-l : sets the logout action.

Ok, so you have had your fun with the new account now and you want to get rid of it in case
of the Net Cafe staff finding it. Well that's simple aswell, all we do is..

"net user CoolGuy /delete" and it will delete that user. Make sure to check it has been
deleted by using "net user" and it will show the accounts.
