Big Spring Jam is quickly approaching and with summer now in full swing, the names of bands such as the Black Crowes and the Fray are now being announced for the festival lineup.

I'm glad to finally be able to say that I'm in the mix with several other designers for some of the Jam's promotional gear. Having been a resident of Huntsville for many years, most of my work has been for places outside of my hometown. It is refreshing to finally be able to concentrate a bit of the creative juices for HuntsVegas.

The blog has been neglected for far too long now. Since my last post, I've done a few gig posters and many other freelance jobs. One notable show for Neko Case and Crooked Fingers for her tour promoting the super fab Middle Cyclone album. That lady is a Siren! Go see her live if you have the chance!

An upcoming show definitely worth seeing if you happen to live in or around Birmingham, AL, is Steve Kimock Crazy Engine and Soulive. The two bands were originally scheduled for separate days, but are now sharing the same night together. Two smooth ass bands for the low admission price of one. Check out workplay.com for details.
