Five years ago Aug. 19th was the happiest and scariest day of my life. The happiest part was that my twin girls were born. The scariest part was that they were born 14 weeks early. They each only weighed 2 lbs and could not breath on their own. They have had more medical procedures done to them in their short lives than I probably ever will. Everyday I look at them I am amazed at what they have been through and what amazing fighters they are!! They are the most precious gift in my life and I am so lucky to be able to share them with my amazing husband. Happy 5th Birthday my beautiful girls!! May you keep your fighting spirit your entire lives!

A New Addition!

After many, many, many weeks of discussion, we finally decided to get a dog to join our family!!! Her name is Nala and she is a Newfoundland!! At only 10 weeks she is already 23 lbs. and will reach 120-150 lbs fully grown!!! She is the sweetest most laid back dog and we have already fallen in LOVE with her!!!

This weekend we took a trip to Disney World!!! On Saturday the weather was gorgeous and we had a great time!!!

I got the chance to meet Angie of A Whole Lot of Nothing and Patrick of Hockeyman and their two beautiful princesses!! They were so nice and we look forward to meeting up again with them in the future!!

Our Amazing Disney Cruise!!!

So yesterday we returned back from our first Disney Cruise!!! We sailed aboard the Disney Wonder for 3 nights (not nearly long enough). We had an amazing time aboard the ship and the girls loved the "Oceaneer's Club" (so did Mommy and Daddy). Unfortunately Peyton got sick and when we took her to the Medical Center because she had thrown up she had to be quarantined in our room for the last 24 hours of the cruise. As sucky as this was, Disney went above and beyond to make it fun. They brought a DVD player and movies for us to watch, Candyland, tons of coloring pages w/ crayons and were at our beck and call if we needed anything. They even brought Peyton a card wishing her well with a signed picture of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee all standing on the beach!!! She also was brought several little get well gifts!!! It made our last 24 hours very manageable!!!

I am so looking forward to our next Disney Cruise (this time 7 days and with my mom)!!! I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!

We all needed a break this weekend, so we headed to our favorite place to have some fun!!! We met up with a friend of ours and her son and played at the Magic Kingdom!!! It was very much the stress reliever we needed!!!

Today Peyton & Daveigh turned 4 years old!! I can't believe my little 2 lb. babies are 4 years old. The day they were born was the happiest and scariest day of our lives. We did not know if they would live 4 minutes and here we are 4 years later!!!

I love you my baby girls and can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Back To Normalcy

I went away this weekend on a "Mommies only" scrapping weekend. It was wonderful!!! Someone cooked for us and cleaned for us. All we had to do was scrap, eat, pee and sleep!!! It was amazing and calming and uproariously fun (Word to Minerva)!!

But this morning, I was ripped back into my normal daily life with a "Good Morning Mommy, I need OATMEAL!!!", "Can you come wipe me?" and "No, that is my seat, no it is mine!!"

It is funny that I find a sort of comfort in these sometimes annoying, but familiar aspects of my life!!!

Future Professional Bowlers

On the 4th we took the twinadoes bowling for the first time. Yes I know, most people would have thought we would have had them bowling since birth (since that is how Jeff and I met), but this was the first time!!!

THEY LOVED IT!!! Peanut has asked every hour on the hour "Mommy we go bowling again now???" I think we have created monsters!

The Imaginations of Babes!!

So back in April, my husband and I took a cruise for our anniversary. Before the cruise, I went and bought some new clothes and some new snazzy bras (this girl needs all the uplift she can get). Well after I got home from shopping the girls were playing on our bed and they came out looking like this!!!

"Look mommy, we found a new HAT!!!" They were so honest and sincere!!! And being the parent of the year that I am I immediately got the camera and took pictures!!!

These 2 girls are constantly cracking me up with the things that come out of their mouths!!!
