I realise this is a very old thread, but I was searching for wine networks on Google and came across it.

Things have changed a lot in the past couple of years and social networking everywhere. Amazingly, there still aren't many great wine networks though: people still don't get it!

One of the ones I've found which DOES work, is http://www.BoozeMonkey.com : these guys have included the wineries in their network and you can contact them with your comments & questions just like any other member.

WineTarget has an interesting feature allowing you to see wineries and vineyards by State and county. However, they apparently can only list 17, so you barely make it to the letter "C" for counties like Sonoma and Napa. I never found a way to scroll.

And apparently, you don;t have to be a winery or vineyard, since I saw listings for wedding planners and accountants.

Hi Jon,

I just found out about another new wine social networking site from a friend of a friend called WineSocieties (www.winesocieties.com)

I haven't spent much time there yet, but it does allow members to connect and communicate with each other and has a marketplace for buying and selling wine.
