I used to not love wearing sunnies. I guess because when I was this little kid with very big chubby cheeks and pert nose, I don't look good at it. There are days, I still don't look good with sunnies but with the scorching heat and blazing sun, we cannot leave the house without one. These Ray Ban Sunglasses caught my attention as I was shopping for gifts for my brothers. I think they would love these for their Christmas presents. After all, both of my sibs are Oakley fanatics and a pair of Ray Ban would be nice alternative to their sunglasses.

Lately, DH and I including my mom and dad have been drowning ourselves with Netflix movies. We would start from 2 movies then last until we're all dizzy and tired and on our 6th movie for the night. Passengers was one of the movies we watched and Gawd, you'd be scared to riding planes again, make you want to own one of these safety vests. Duplicity is another movie that we find mind-boggling, The Haunting of Molly Hartley was my mom's fave (she loves thriller and horror movies) and of course, UP was a family favorite.

I try to veer away with numbers because I am not good with it. In fact, I got all As in all of my other Graduate School courses except for the 2 math and economics subjects which are Quantitative Method and Managerial Economics. If I had mathematics skills, I would have probably taken accountancy in college and would immediately land a job in this prestigious Las Vegas accounting firm. You see, my bestfriend in LA told me that all her accountancy hardwork in college paid off because no matter how bad the economy is, the demand on accounting jobs is stable. No wonder, she landed a job that gives high salary and very impressive benefits.

My older brothers make it a point to unite the whole family for a grand vacation at least once a year. However for the past 2 years, everyone was so busy we did not afford to have grand vacations. Also, since we are thousands of miles apart from each other, we had a hard time making this happen. So the New Year's get together in California and Las Vegas is now 100% sure. Also, summer of 2010 will be spent in this Kid friendly hotel so that the young ones in the family could enjoy. I so can't wait for this vacation to happen :). Have a good weekend everyone!

It's getting colder and colder each day. I am just at home and I am all bundled up. Even my folks are covered from neck down and we're all staying in the family room covered with blankets, comforters, munching on junk food (hello! colon cleanse) and watching DVDs like there's no tommorow. During this cold season, DH and I love to cuddle under the sheets, nope nope! As opposed to what most people would think, we just love to hug, hug and hug! I don't know, but I would choose hugging over kissing even after reading these facts on kissing :).

Thank God that MPA has been over. We are now done paying tuition fees and expensive books. I still remember the 1st few days of MPA when I was left clueless on where to buy used and cheap MPA books. Good thing DH was resourceful enough and discovered Amazon books. From then on, we got my MPA books in Amazon at much cheaper rate.

My bestfriend, T is thinking of taking up another course or a short course that would help her in her promotion. As if she's not yet satisfied with her 4 promotions in a row! She was kidding me that the time I finish my Graduate Studies, I can demand for higher salaries. I wish! Although, I have to agree with her that employment opportunities and promotions can be really competitive these days and having completed further studies will give you a certain edge.
