Well! I was offered a great opportunity for work in Jonesboro! So the Clark Clan is moving back to where Brian and I met! Jonesboro Arkansas!! : )

We are both really excited and are looking forward to starting new in a comfortable place!!

2008 Pumpkin Patch

In the huge metropolis of Lake Jackson we have this annual Great American Pumpkin Patch!! It is a great place for the family to pick out pumpkins to carve/paint and to take fall photos.. Emma, my cousins and I took advantage of a beautiful day and posed with the pumpkins!!

Happy Birthday!! Emma turned one year old on Saturday.. we had family and friends, food and fun!! She was dressed in her 1st Bday tutu and ready to party!! : ) Here are some pics from the big event.. I will post some more as I play with them in photoshop!!

Josh and Nicole are getting married March 14, 2009!!

Hey everyone!! Sorry it has been a while. Due to Hurricane Ike we were evacuated on Wednesday, September 10.. we left for Georgetown not thinking we would be out for this long!!

But we are back in Lake Jackson, our house is fine, we have full power now and are going to attack our yard soon.. looks like a jungle out there!!

But while we were gone I had a great time.. I stayed with my Grandparents and traveled to Arkansas to visit the in-laws.. I was able to take some photos of Emma, Brian and the rest of the family and also take some engagement photos of my brother and his beautiful fiancee Nicole...

Baby Neyland is Here

Over the weekend my cousin Lindsey and her husband Jason welcomed their new baby boy, Wyatt Charles Neyland into the world!! He weighed in at 6 lbs. 3 oz and 19 inches long..

We are all so happy for the new addition and we wish them the best as they encounter this new baby in their lives.. I pray for sleep!! Because Brian and I know exactly what they are going through right now!! : )

Well today is a great day..

1. It is Friday and I get off work at noon!! = more play time with Emma and the weekend!

2. My cousin Lindsey's water broke this morning so that means baby and no sleep for the Neyland's!!

3. Emma will now have a friend to play with!!

4. Emma's 1st Birthday outfit came in the mail today and It is absolutely adorable and it fits.. so that is good!! : ) thanks to Grandma Julie!

Emma is 11 months old Today!!

Can't believe it but our little girl is 11 months old today... How cool is that?? I am in the process of gathering stuff for the big First Birthday party!! Woo Hoo!!

Emma's First Steps

Emma Elizabeth Clark took her first real steps on September 2, 2008.. Just two days shy of being 11 months old...

I was watching HGTV... My favorite channel.. and she was playing with all her toys in the living room.. I wasn't paying attention and glanced back at her and she was standing up without assistance holding on to a bottle of water.. I have seen her stand before but I could see something in her eye!! : ) she looked at me and I said "well, come here baby, walk to mama"... and then she just took a step toward me.. She started laughing and just kept walking.. about 6 steps and then collapsed in my arms.. !!!! THE COOLEST MOMENT IN MY LIFE THUS FAR!!

so I stood her up and tried to repeat it to see if this was really happening.. and she did.. she walked again.. and again... and again!!

Brian got back from the gym about 5 minutes after this all started and was able to see it for himself.... our beautiful daughter is walking!!!

(now the real fun begins) ; )

Cliffs Notes: Clark Style : )

Brian and I met my senior year in college at Arkansas State University. He was hanging out with his fraternity brothers at the Chop house and I was meeting up with some of the other volleyball girls. I remember seeing him and thinking man this guy is cute and I proceeded to tell his friend "Pork" that I wanted to meet him..... Long story short we met and instantly had a connection : )

We found out we were pregnant 1/2 way through my senior year (January 16 to be exact) and knew we were in for the ride of our lives.. In April we found out we were having a baby girl!! After graduation in May we moved back down to my home town of Lake Jackson. We began our lives together.. Not how most people would have liked for us to do it, but we did it to the best of our ability!!

I received a great job just 3 weeks after my graduation. I was the new Marketing Specialist at Brazosport College!! we both began working and patiently waiting for our little baby girl to arrive.

Emma came a week late on October 4, 2007.. I was so scared and anxious.. It was the most amazing experience for both Brian and I.. the love we have for this child is something I could have never imagined!!

Brian and I had decided to wait for marriage to make sure we were both in this for good.. We were married on December 8, 2007. It was a very small but great wedding with family and a few friends..

Jump to now... September of 2008.. Brian and I have been married now for 9 months and are proud parents of an 11 month old baby girl..... More to come!!
