The message of Bush to Iranian people

In my point of view the last message of Bush to Iranian people was positive and not black and white as it used to be, to describe Iran as axis of evil and may be it would be helpful to find a diplomatic solution for this nuclear crises.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the Iranian people, particularly the families of the many Iranians who are in prison today for daring to express their hopes and dreams for a better future. We continue to stand with the people of Iran in your quest for freedom, prosperity, honest and effective government, judicial due process and the rule of law. And we continue to call on the government of Iran to respect the will of its people and be accountable to them.

As I have said before, if Iran respects its international obligations and embraces freedom and tolerance, it will have no better friend than the United States of America.

Best wishes for a bright future, filled with knowledge and information and freedom."

That was the title of the film that our anti-war team organized to show in Middlesex University.
"Sir! No Sir!" came out last year and, for the first time ever, tells the amazing story of the rebellion of thousands of US soldiers against the war in Vietnam, a movement that became so powerful that it was a major factor in bringing the war to an end.
I found the film good the aspect that the best solution of preventing a war could be when the soldiers refuse to take part in it.
The people who came to see the film looked amazing with different background and ages, especially an old lady over 80 years old with lots of memories about second World war and was fed up with all times dirty politicians!
23 of September is the big anti-war demonstration in Manchester we will go with a coach I haven't finished my poster yet!

I had a stressful time the last three weeks, some thing with Hospital and doctors, which is not my favourite thing so I don?t like to talk with anybody or even write about it either.

But because of this stressful time we decided to spoil us a bit and planned a weekend in Bath the only city in England with hot Spa, well it was nice however not so nice like the ones in Austria or in Germany but the best thing about it, is despite in Austria and Germany wearing swimming wear is an obligation!
We spend the night in a Luxury Bed and breakfast in a Farm with nice country decoration on our way we visited the Durham park with a wonderful magic garden with a pool and some huge gold fish in it, I discovered a blackberry tree ( shahtoot)
And after years I ate lots and lots of juicy sweet berries.
Outside the building and garden was a protected forest with many beautiful small deer.

On Saturday we marched from Piccadilly to the Houses of Parlimant with approximately at least 50000 people from different cultures, races and religions shouting " CEASE FIRE NOW" demonstrating against war in Lebenon and expressing their solidarity with a nation under attack with bombs and rockets.
It was disturbing for me to see a few Hezbollah flags among the demonstrantes, because in my point of view every extremist and conservative ideology should be rejected and only tolerance can lead to a peaceful world! But fortunately some of the speakers made good points including the right of existence of Israel.

For a symbolic act the "Stop the War" organisation asked demonstrants to put children shoes at the Cenotaph to protest against the killing of children .

On sunday we woke up early moring. At about 6am a taxi took us to Victoria station and there we took a coach to Liverpool. At 1pm we were at Liverpool. After having lunch and some sightseeing including the tower of Liverpool and visting the local radio station we picked up our new car, a Ford Focus Ghia which is compared to the Renault which we owned more comfortable and looks also nicer, then we went with the new car to the beach and at about 11 pm we were at home in London.

It is a heart breaking photo a Israelis little girl who writes memorial on a bomb for Lebanese children

And the bomb arrived and brought the hate and death message to a Lebanese 3 years old little girl
Its is so sad looking at the faces of these children who are anxious but also angry at the burial ceremony of this little girl

For how long and how many generation this war will continue? no land is worth of a drop of blood that is certainly not a holy country with too many innocent blood poured on it no difference if they were Moslems , Jews or Christ.
And my respect towards all people with awake consciences, especially to all antiwar demonstrantes in Tel Aviv!

And my thanks to my dear Walter who wrote the following letter to our MP:

Dear Mr Burrowes,

60 civilians have again been killed by the IDF yesterday, in a single house, and more than half of them were children.

I ask you therefore to support an immediate, unconditional and lasting ceasefire. Non of the parties will achieve their objectives with rockets or bombs. The complicated problems of this area are better addressed with negotiations than with weapons. Not that negotiations will bring any real solution in the near future - there is just too much hate on each side. But maybe we can give future generations the chance to deal with this issue if the children do not have to witness the ongoing killing of civilians (live or on TV). These killings create hate and make it less likely that today's children will negotiate successfully when they become adults themselves.

One last point: Please remind the prime minister that the UK is a member of the EU, and not a member of the US. As a result of voting for the US led Iraq war, Stephen Twigg MP lost his seat last year and the Lib Dems (who stood a very anti-war candidate) and the Greens both saw their votes increase as a result of anti-war feeling. The current conflict will increase the anti-war feeling in the UK and decrease the chances of any pro-war MP to be re-elected.

It has been a perfect Saturday, we had lunch at Harvester, and after that we went to Cliveden, had a long walk along the river, watched the beautiful gardens including the secret garden with all nice artistic statues, there was an Indian wedding in the house all Indian women were wearing beautiful colourful saris, after a break in the coffee we made our way back to our car through a magical forest which you used to see in cartoons!

As we were driving back to Southgate we turned the radio on and that was when I heard the news could n´t stop my self and broke to tears.
Again Israel air strike killed many innocent people including small children!
I do not know what to say , it is unbelievable, how could do they this, how could the whole world not give a damn about it, ok it has been some light protest from government, the protest from all antiwar organization but when these demos got bigger and bigger , when more people involve in it, I belive it will not continues
Instead of closing eyes instead of closing ears to heart breaking scenes make it open and protest , let the government hear us! forget the religions , the races and skin colours, we are all human being and we want to live in peace.
I can not understand the Israelis,whom their last generation suffered too much by genocide in Auschwitz and holocaust , how could they do such a massacre to Lebenanese and Palestinian people they should know how does it feel to live in terror and anxiety to bury your beloved one.

For the women who are beaten on woman day and on their peaceful demo!

The Iranian governments insists that atom energy is our absolute right we should have it at all cost but when our brave women demonstrate for their certain right they are than beaten with cruelty,they gathered and demanded the change of the polygamy law in marriage and to have the equal right as same the men at divorce, and these are only the base of human right and absolutely their rights!Which are answered with cruelty and wildness!

The memories come to my mind, the small blue pool with gold fishes in your garden the ripe grapes which hang over in the your small garden , when I pass the long corridor there is aroma of saffron and rice everywhere , may be you have cooked my favorite meal,I felt so good at your home, there was that comfort security and love, there were always such big parties in your home,with that lively happy atmosphere, my cousins were playing and the others were chatting loud.
And now I can imagine how quite and empty looks every where and how sad is it that I am even so far that I can not attend in your ceremony!

This is a part of Letter which I tried to translate from the Tehran Jewish Comitee
The Jewish community of Iran is worried about what in Iranian media is happening and mentioning that holocaust was only a myth.
Is it not possible to make a small research and read the "Mein Kampf" from Hitler again?
And see what was mentioned as the base for Nazis was erasing the Jewish and gypsy race
Mr President there is no doubt more than 50 millions People were died in Second World War, what is the importance if there had been 6 millions or one millions Jews among them!!!
Holocaust is not a myth as general Massacre of saddam in Halabache (killing the Kurds) the massacre of Palestinians and Lebanones in Sabra and Shatila by Sharon, and massacre of Moslem in Balkan by Serbian and what happens today in Afghanistan and Iraq are also not a myth!

What a long time I did not write any thing here, some how I was busy with our trips to Iran and Spain, on the other hand am so busy with lots of plan and projects, but I think the most important factor Which I could not write any thing was that I am so fed up with all these stupid stories about nuclear quarrel between Iran and Europe and America, I do not want to comment it again what is my point of view is written in one of my last years posts ( U ), and the thing is I do not believe or support the new president of Iran I am only worried about my country my relatives, my friends and my people.

And today I heard the news about the attacks to Austrian embassy and eventual Austrian culture institute, which made me upset und somehow ashamed of behaviour of group of demonstrants who threw stones to embassy and broke the windows (However they were only 400 of 12000000 of Tehran Population!)
I felt so bad about it I know the building and even the kind employees and the culture institute is where I have been learning Germany for four years I have so many sweet memories about that.
So when Walter called me I felt so ashamed and apologized him because of the unacceptable and wild behaviour of demonstrants, remembered few years ago when Heider won in Austria some Students wore as Protest T-shirt with the message " sorry ,I did not vote for him!" And I asked myself if I was living still in Austria should I than also have worn a T-shirt "Sorry I did not threw any stones!!!!!!!"
But actually what do you expect from normal people when the leader are such idiots, and unfortunately they are all so narrow-minded, what is happening how could you compare khatamie or Clinton or even Schröder to their horrible substitute, Ahmadinejad, Bush, Merkel ...
Where has in our todays world tolerant and respect been left? There should be a press freedom but not at the price hurting the others feeling which is against the base of democracy your freedom is limited where you could hurt somebody so the Muslims, Christ and Jews should learn when they can not love each other at least try to understand the other point of view and definitely respect each others belief and feelings.
So in my point of view the Muslims should not any more worry and discuss about the existence of holocaust because by this mean they hurt the feeling of the people who have suffered during the second war, on the hand the Christs and Jews should respect what is holy for the Muslims and do not make fun of it.
And at the best case all these three religions followers should take some lessons from more peaceful religions like Buddhismus and zarathustra and at last do not forget it is not important what kind of religion you have but being a human!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As today Walter wanted to participate in 42.2 km Cross Country Walk Marathon in Blackwater(I learned later he won the first place). I decided to spend the day in the British Museum which has currently an Exhibition about ancient Persia: " The forgotten Empire"

The exhibition was a selection of precious objects from the National Museum of Iran, the Persepolis Museum and the Louvre, and British Museum itself.
It was funny because the only objects I was not familiar with were the objects from the Iranian Museum.
The exhibition was really busy, what I liked mostly was the reason why the exhibition was made: I read somewhere that this conflict between West and East has existed since 2500 years and because the Greek have written the history there was always a misjudgement about Iran. This exhibition should help give the West another image of Persia(Iran) than as an evil axis!
The Persian empire which lasted from the middle of the 500s BC until the defeat of Darius III by Alexander the Great in 331 BC, the Persian empire ruled a vast portion of the then-known world from the Nile to the Indus. It connected the Mediterranean with modern Afghanistan. Rich beyond dreams, powerful beyond dispute, the great kings ruled from their mighty palaces at Susa and Persepolis, tolerating the religions and cultures of subject peoples and harvesting the creativity of near eastern civilisation that had already, before they came along, invented writing and urban life.
Looking to the casts of Persepolis found it funny to have still the genes of wavy hair after 2500 years! Guess they didn't have a hairiron like me!!!

George Bush: 'God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq'

This was the title of the article in today's Guardian UK newspaper:
George Bush has claimed he was on a mission from God when he launched the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a senior Palestinian politician in an interview to be broadcast by the BBC later this month.
Mr Bush revealed the extent of his religious fervour when he met a Palestinian delegation during the Israeli-Palestinian summit at the Egpytian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, four months after the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.
One of the delegates, Nabil Shaath, who was Palestinian foreign minister at the time, said: "President Bush said to all of us: 'I am driven with a mission from God'. God would tell me, 'George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan'. And I did. And then God would tell me 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq'. And I did."
Mr Bush went on: "And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East'. And, by God, I'm gonna do it."!!!!!!!

It's a long time since my last post in August, in middle of September I travelled for a week to Austria, my sister Nasim wanted to move from Graz to Vienna, so there were lots of work to do, and I helped her a little with packing, meanwhile I made a short trip to Leoben and visited Tina and Gregor (who are expecting to have a baby very soon!)in their new spacious flat with a nice view to the River "Mur" and there I had a nice chat and tasty dinner( which I forgot to ask about salmon's recipe!) with them for a couple of hours.
At the weekend Walter joined me and after helping Nasim & Richard by moving and visiting "Rafaela" the new Baby of my sister in law Sigrid, we used to opportunity being in Austria and spend the rest of the time being in spa and relaxing , coming back to London we took Nasim with us and Richard came few days later , on Saturday I met my friend Aude who is a real art fan and came to London from Paris only because of the exhibition of Frida Kahlo in Tate Modern.So we met at exhibition and I was really surprised after 3 months of exhibition , It was a long queue for buying ticket.
Everybody was touched by looking to the paintings and works of Frida, there were a lots of pain which were pictured with colour and canvas and you could feel it by looking to it!
At the end Aude gave me a souvenir from exhibition a Frida Kahlo mug for my mug collection!
And then we had a coffee with some sympathic friend of Aude.
The next day we took Nasim and Richard to visit Oxford which they liked it very much, by our way we visited the big hobby craft shop and Nasim bought lots of thing for preparing their wedding in June, meanwhile Walter visited the PC world shop next to the hobby shop , and we ended buying a new computer without planning it, however the old one was really old and somehow broken!

Banksy is known as a Graffiti artist who hangs his art in famous museum and galleries in London and New York.
Fake prehistoric rock art of a caveman with a shopping trolley has been hung on the walls of the British Museum for three days without being noticed!
His Work on gaza wall were also very impressive, Banksy who has been criticised as an as an irresponsible prankster, risked the bullets of the Israeli security services to stencil nine paintings on to the Palestinian side of Israel's separation wall. They included pictures of children digging a hole, breaking through the wall, and another of a ladder apparently going up the wall and over to the other side. Norway And Denmark

One month before we got married, Walter, Nasim and me went to Sweden, we loved it so much that we decided to discover Scandinavia further, a year later we went to Helsinki in Finland, and this year we made it to Norway and Denmark.
We flew with Ryanair to Haugesund, and discovered the beautiful nature of Haugeland with its magical landscape - lakes covered with water lilies and hills covered with fragrant wild flowers and snow roses. However, after being shocked by seeing a poisonous rare adder ("Kreuzotter") next to my foot I thought that too much nature is obviously also not so nice!:)
After that we made our way with a bus to a small neat port (Skudeshaven). There we took a ferry and made our way to Stavanger, a small nice city, where we visited the Petroleum Museum. The building was built as a platform, and it was really interesting inside!
From Stavanger we flew with a Norwegian airline in about one hour to Oslo. Walter arranged before that we could stay at Grand Hotel which was a very luxury hotel and situated just in the centre! In this hotel also the nobel prize winners usually stay when they come to Oslo to receive their prices.
I liked Oslo very much, you could see everywhere modern art especially many modern statues.
Another thing that we noticed: There were more small children in Norway and especially in Oslo than in any other capital city I have visted before.
After two days we went further with a big Ferry to Hirtshals in Denmark. The ferry was more and less like a cruiseliner because of it's facilities like big restaurants and bars, swimming pool and night shows!
In Hirtshals we stayed for two nights, the beach was so fantastic and beautiful, I never saw before such a fine white sand, but the weather was a little cool to swim however Walter swam a bit, we walked around and visited the biggest aquarium in Europe there with some cute seals!:)
From Hirtshals we took a train to Aarhus, the second larges town of Denmark where we went to an open air Vikings museum and after that we had a meal in a Vikings restaurant (Walhalla) with a nordic buffet (really good and tasty). We flew back from Aarhus to London and we liked Denmark so much that maybe next year we will go there again!
