The Athens Popfest went over really well. Still can't believe we had Roky Erickson, the last Boyracer show, and the Music Tapes kazoo parade all work out without a hitch. The planning for PopFest 2009 is already underway. For now though please go and check out a very close friend of the Popfest <a href="http://shikbyrd.com/">Shane Byrd</a>'s yearbook style PopFest photos. The photo above is one Shane took of me on the Thursday night of the festival. Shane also shot some promo photos of the Lolligags while in town as well, so I'll post those when it's ready. Also look for some video posts, and lots of MP3's next week as well. Oh yeah, in Smittens news, the preorder versions of the new album are all gone now, but we still have the regular version of the new album available.  HHBTM will have a CMJ Showcase at Spike Hill in Brooklyn on the 22nd of October.
