I finally got around to doing something with it this past weekend. I went to Home Depot and bought 3 foot by 3 inch pieces of wood and some L brackets. The wood is attached with the L brackets behind the wooden dowels that were already on the shelf unit so you can't really see them in the picture. So I added 4 more <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">shelves</span> to the unit which are holding my stamps. The other shelves hod ink pads, embossing powder, glitter etc..<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SE718nANHJI/AAAAAAAAATY/Ogb6EDFpbvo/s1600-h/stampshelf.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SE718nANHJI/AAAAAAAAATY/Ogb6EDFpbvo/s320/stampshelf.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5210372240525040786" border="0" /></a>I keep all my seasonal stamps on the original shelves that I had made for all my Non <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">SU</span> stamps. It was part of my nieces birthday gift. I am not real happy with how I decorated, but still think it is cute. It is a scrap piece of colored striped paper that is on the inside of the can. I used letter stickers for the name put on the outside. The flags at the top are a border sticker, also on the outside. And I wrapped the red ribbon around the outside and fixed it with double sided tape. I added 2 small flower charms to the handle. A <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">bazzill</span> white flower is attached to the lid with a self sticking red button in the center.<br /><br />Oh and I filled it with bubble gum balls.<br /><div></div>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-66073038522379792332008-05-24T09:54:00.004-05:002008-05-24T10:40:15.575-05:00Kindergarten TreatsThursday was the last day of school for my little kindergartner. I can not believe in a few short months she will be in first grade. Where has the time gone?? Anyhow, I have been busy since last weekend making up a treat bag for the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">kindy</span> graduates.<br /><p><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgsd5cC3LI/AAAAAAAAASg/bLR45-nL7Ds/s1600-h/mini+cards.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958261572885682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgsd5cC3LI/AAAAAAAAASg/bLR45-nL7Ds/s320/mini+cards.jpg" border="0" /></a> These are 2x2 cards that are sealed in little clear envelopes that I posted about a while back. The stamp is a dollar stamp from Michael's. I used colored pens to outline the flower and trace the sentiment. The flash kind of drowns out the colors.<br /><br /><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgseZcC3NI/AAAAAAAAASw/5UDW5MjBL3Y/s1600-h/cap1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958270162820306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgseZcC3NI/AAAAAAAAASw/5UDW5MjBL3Y/s320/cap1.jpg" border="0" /></a> I saw these last year on a message board and had saved a pic of them to my computer. I had a different idea in mind, but was unable to find little blue grad cap stickers so I needed to come up with something else. These actually look so much cuter in person. </p><p>It is a Hershey chocolate nugget with a 1x3" blue strip of card stock wrapped around it. The squares were cut with my paper cutter because I didn't have the right size square punch. I can't recall off hand the size I cut them. I cut 2 and glued them together to make it a little more sturdier. </p><p>The tassels were the time consuming part as I made each one using <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">embroidery</span> floss. I tied it around a mini brad and attached it to the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">square</span>. I then hot glued the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">square</span> to the top of the nugget just to make sure it stuck good. </p><p><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgseZcC3OI/AAAAAAAAAS4/AX-6vgY2XC4/s1600-h/cap2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958270162820322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgseZcC3OI/AAAAAAAAAS4/AX-6vgY2XC4/s320/cap2.jpg" border="0" /></a> I put them in little zip lock type bags that you can get from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Wal</span>-Mart cheap and added a bag topper. I printed the text on my computer and then stamped and <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">colored</span> the little cap at the top. </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958265867852994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgseJcC3MI/AAAAAAAAASo/cUZDPRq4isQ/s320/seeds.jpg" border="0" />Next are some friendship seeds. This is a template that folds up like a flower seed packet. I can not remember where the template came from, but I have several that say different things (pumpkin seeds, snowman seeds etc.). I had downloaded them from somewhere a while back. </p><p>The elephant is a stamped image from a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">SU</span> valentine set (the name escapes me right now). There was some text on the template at the bottom where the elephants feet are so I had to do some altering of the seed packet image so that the stamped image would fit. I colored it with chalks. </p><p>I put a handful of orange tic <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">tacs</span> in a little zip baggie and put inside the envelope. I think these came out super cute!</p><p><br /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958373242035442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgskZcC3PI/AAAAAAAAATA/RVC86p1aAQU/s320/whoopers.jpg" border="0" />This purple container is a kids plastic snack cup with lid that I bought 6 for $1 at the dollar store. I filled them with Whooper candies. I used my <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">cricut</span> (George and basic shapes cart) to cut a blue circle for the top of the lid and used a fine black pen to add a little border. The sun was cut with the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">cricut</span> also (<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">doodlecharms</span> cart I think) and I outlined it. I printed the words on clear mini labels from my computer. </p><p>All of these were packed up in a clear cello bag and tied with some <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11">blue</span> curly ribbon.</p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203958257277918370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SDgsdpcC3KI/AAAAAAAAASY/nEmN1m94Ecw/s320/tucker.jpg" border="0" /><br /><p>This was a little gift for the teacher. The class took up a collection for one gift, but I wanted to make a little something. This is another idea found on a message board. I stamped images from a retired <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12">SU</span> set with white craft ink onto black <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13">cardstock</span>. I stamped the letters of her name with some foam alpha stamps and my <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14">SU</span> inks and matted them with matching <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_15">SU</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_16">cardstock</span>. I found the red picture frame at the dollar store. </p>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-68775683036098905572008-04-28T13:11:00.003-05:002008-04-28T13:26:56.966-05:00Card Making DayIt's a state holiday so I am off today!! It was 7 bucks, can you believe it?! It is 48" high, 36" wide and 4" deep. I am going to do some alterations to it this week and then I will show you what I end up doing with it. <a href="http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm801YYUS" target="_blank"><img height="16" alt="Smile" src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_1_1.gif" width="17" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SBUSLGQYd7I/AAAAAAAAASA/01q8hS9Yzb0/s1600-h/bookcase.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194077727108921266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SBUSLGQYd7I/AAAAAAAAASA/01q8hS9Yzb0/s320/bookcase.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div> </div>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-56466130176097776992008-04-22T19:47:00.010-05:002008-05-01T16:33:55.569-05:00Clearing OutI am cleaning out my stamp room and just getting started on this big task. I have a little extra spending money and a 50% off coupon and I could find nothing that I really just had to have. It always happens like that. If I was broke with no coupon I would have found plenty I things I wanted.<br /></div><div>Anyhow, I went down one last <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">aisle</span> and made an interesting find. Clear envelopes in about 8 different sizes ranging from 2x2 to 12x12. I love to put my cards in the clear envies that <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Stampin</span> up sells and I have been wanting to try different size cards, but didn't know what kind of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">envie</span> to put them in. So I chose a 3 <span style="font-size:78%;">5/16</span>"X5 <span style="font-size:78%;">1/8</span>" <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">envie</span> and a 5 <span style="font-size:78%;">7/8</span>"X4<span style="font-size:78%;"> 1/2</span>" <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">envie</span>. Here are the cards I made tonight to fit those sizes.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190425303427315554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SAgYUDv792I/AAAAAAAAAQo/x2jF2Ob5BxY/s320/friends.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190425307722282866" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/SAgYUTv793I/AAAAAAAAAQw/JgVyL2-eqik/s320/hellos.jpg" border="0" /></p><p>All the envelopes are 2.99 a pack no matter what size you get. The difference is in the number of envelopes in each pack. The smaller envies I got had 50 to a pack and the larger size had 35 in a pack. I have a 20% off entire purchase coupon that I think I am going to go back and use to get a few more different sizes. </p>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-83724051060002819722008-03-30T18:37:00.005-05:002008-03-30T18:43:06.757-05:00Tilda "So Grateful" CardI picked up an unused Tilda stamp on <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">ebay</span> a couple weeks ago for a great price and finally got around to using it today. I have a coordinating green colored flower that I might put at the top left corner, but I am not sure yet. It looks like something is missing there.<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183683602207838418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R_AkxZmdkNI/AAAAAAAAAQY/8xl2kH8PlkM/s400/tilda.jpg" border="0" />Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-73775104680483908352008-03-30T18:32:00.003-05:002008-03-30T19:05:53.869-05:00Photo PencilsThis is a very cheap, quick and easy project. Make 3 copies on regular copy paper of a 5x6 photo. Cut each photo into 1.25" strips so that you end up with 4 <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">stips</span> per photo and 3 exact copies of each strip. Using a glue stick, glue the first 3 copied strips (they will all be the same part of the photo) onto the first 3 pencils. Glue the next three copies to the next 3 pencils and so on. Then put the pencils together and roll them until the picture lines up. I didn't do it to mine, but I would coat them with <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">mod</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">podge</span>.<br /><br />I did do a little boo boo on mine. I wrapped one of the pencils in the opposite direction that I had been rolling them and it makes it look like part of the photo is missing on the 7<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">th</span> pencil. Oops. I might go back and fix it, but for now I just wanted to try it out and see if it was as easy as it looked, and it is.<br /><br /><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R_AoC5mdkOI/AAAAAAAAAQg/CapUbRxLE0s/s1600-h/picturepens.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183687201390432482" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R_AoC5mdkOI/AAAAAAAAAQg/CapUbRxLE0s/s320/picturepens.jpg" border="0" /></a>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-79766761220901014952008-03-20T21:29:00.004-05:002008-03-20T21:38:46.288-05:00Easter TreatsI made these little baskets for the ladies at work and my daughters teacher. The baskets are made from 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">cardstock</span>. The handle is 1/4 x 7. I used <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">SU</span> Yo Yo Yellow, Only Orange, Pixie Pink, Lovely Lilac. I added the white dots with a gel pen. The scallop punch is from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">SU</span> and the circle that I stamped is a 1 1/4" circle I cut with my <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">cricut</span>. The bunny stamp is from inky antics and the little duck is a dollar stamp from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Michaels</span>. I added some green grass and filled them with chocolate eggs.<br /><br /><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R-Mdqv2aVpI/AAAAAAAAAQA/weYL3w1aX0g/s1600-h/easterbaskets.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5180016616642598546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R-Mdqv2aVpI/AAAAAAAAAQA/weYL3w1aX0g/s320/easterbaskets.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I made these for my daughters <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">kindy</span> class. I was able to get 3 more layouts done (no pictures right now) and 2 very quick cards. If I can get the house cleaned up and the grocery <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">shopping</span> done early tomorrow I hope to get back in my scrap room.<br /><br />I don't know why this card looks slanted in the picture. Here are some new elements I added for better storage/organization:<br /><br />I needed some more storage area within reach of my work space, that didn't take up room on my table. So I bought these really cheap wooden CD crates from ACM, painted them and made shelves out of them.<br /><div><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBBnPAbAI/AAAAAAAAAOw/MtfmQEH0OS4/s1600-h/shelfs.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178155536281005058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBBnPAbAI/AAAAAAAAAOw/MtfmQEH0OS4/s320/shelfs.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div>I bought clear plastic containers at HL and took the lids off. They hold all my colored pencils nicely.</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178155549165906994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBCXPAbDI/AAAAAAAAAPI/Sfe7bgOC7Pk/s320/pencils.jpg" border="0" /></div><div></div><div>I bought a slightly bigger plastic container, put it on its side and put my SU markers in it. I used the lid from that container to hold my blending stumps (used for coloring with gamsol/mineral spirits). And a little tid bit about the plastic bottle on the end. If you do the magic colored pencil technique (coloring with pencils and blending with odorless mineral spirits) I highly recommend getting one of these bottles to hold your mineral spirits. It is a nail polish remover bottle that you see used at nail salons. You push the cap down and a little mineral spirits will puddle on the top to dip your blending stump in. After a few minutes of not using it the mineral spirits will drain back into the bottle. I have been using it for a while now and it is very handy. </div><div></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178155544870939682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBCHPAbCI/AAAAAAAAAPA/7lN7e1-s5xA/s320/markers.jpg" border="0" /> </div><div>I bought these buckets 3 for $1.00 at the dollar store. I stamped on them with stazon and mini alpha stamps. I plan to spruce them up a bit with ribbon and/or rub ons. They basically hold little metal embellishments. I have 8 on a shelf.</div><div></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178156412454333538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yB0nPAbGI/AAAAAAAAAPg/TxzRdT-pXd4/s320/buckets.jpg" border="0" /></div><div></div><div>I moved my cricut machine to my other table and put up a wood shelf over the top that will hold my cricut carts and other tools. I thought it was the perfect spot to hang my little bug I made with the cricut machine. </div><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBB3PAbBI/AAAAAAAAAO4/NlPOxb3htww/s1600-h/cricut+shelf.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178155540575972370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBB3PAbBI/AAAAAAAAAO4/NlPOxb3htww/s320/cricut+shelf.jpg" border="0" /></a> This is how I have my smaller width ribbon stored. Each color is rolled up and put in the mini cropper hopper embellishment boxes and a little tail of the ribbon hangs out. The little boxes are stored in a cropper hopper embellishment case. Well I have wider ribbon that was just thrown in a box getting tangled that needed some better space.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178156416749300850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yB03PAbHI/AAAAAAAAAPo/HIRszKESjgo/s320/ribbonbox.jpg" border="0" />So I cut come pieces of chip board to fit in this canvas pop up box that I got at the Dollar store and wrapped the ribbon around the chip board. I have a few more rolls but I got bored of wrapping the ribbon after spending 10 minutes untangling it all. The rolled ribbon on the right is all self adhesive ribbon on spools and stacked in a plastic basket (again from the dollar store).<br /><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBCnPAbEI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/hh4S-JL7KzM/s1600-h/ribbon+storage.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5178155553460874306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R9yBCnPAbEI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/hh4S-JL7KzM/s320/ribbon+storage.jpg" border="0" /></a>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-17003631810610851062008-03-03T15:41:00.004-06:002008-03-03T15:45:44.315-06:00Couldn't ResistI had to exhange a couple things at Hobby Lobby today so I picked up 2 more of the House Mouse stamps on clearnace. I decided to give it a try tonight. It is made from 1 sheet of 12x12 paper, 11 inches of ribbon and 12 brads. Here is the blog with directions that was posted on the group - <a href="http://wishyouwerehere-laura.blogspot.com/2008/02/basket-tutorial.html">Basket Tutorial</a><br /><br /><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R8TRhtHjOUI/AAAAAAAAAOA/rO5FD3EsYoY/s1600-h/paperbasket.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5171488649105324354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R8TRhtHjOUI/AAAAAAAAAOA/rO5FD3EsYoY/s320/paperbasket.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-87773788950582122492008-02-18T21:20:00.003-06:002008-02-18T21:28:45.541-06:00Window CardThis is the one card I managed to do this past weekend. I saw it on someone's blog and if I can remember who I will post their name (sorry).<br /><br />I cut a window out of whisper white and gable green cardstock. Then I stamped a window sheet using black StazOn and put it inbetween the white and green CS so that you could see the image through the window. Then I stamped the image again on whisper white and placed that on the inside of the card, lining it up with the image on the window sheet and then colored the image that I stamped on the white CS. I framed the window on the outside with basic black.Clear as mud?<br /><br />It was a little tricky to take a picture of when it is closed. The image is crisp and clear if the card is shut right.<br /><br /><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pMZ9HjOSI/AAAAAAAAANw/sufopnEzeMA/s1600-h/windowcard1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168527531147737378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pMZ9HjOSI/AAAAAAAAANw/sufopnEzeMA/s320/windowcard1.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pMaNHjOTI/AAAAAAAAAN4/bq-e2td2Cqk/s1600-h/windowcard2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168527535442704690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pMaNHjOTI/AAAAAAAAAN4/bq-e2td2Cqk/s320/windowcard2.jpg" border="0" /></a>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-8182490847809712162008-02-18T17:35:00.007-06:002008-02-18T21:20:18.065-06:00Successful Scrap Time! (Lots of Pics)I have been busy playing in my scraproom this weekend. I have fallen behind on layouts over the past year and half and I am on a mission to get caught back up. Sunday I spent the entire day scrapping away. I had today off, but my daughter had school so I was planning on spending all day locked up in my room again, but I needed to make a trip to a couple of the craft stores. I needed a new cricut cutting mat, new blade and cutting mat for my cutterpede and a couple other extras. Then it was nearly time for lunch so I went to Chappy's with hubby and by the time I got back I had 2 hours to work.<br /><br />I did 16 and a half layouts over the course of 2 days and I stamped a card! I feel like I am on a roll and would love another day or two off work so I can scrap at home in peace. LOL! I guess I will just have to spend a little bit of time each night this week working on something and hopefully my creative juices will keep flowing through the weekend and I can get more layouts done!<br /><br />I have missed working on scrapbook layouts and it feels great to be getting caught up again! Here are some of the ones I did. I put them up on the fridge to take pictures so the quality isn't the greatest.<br /><br /><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ8tHjOPI/AAAAAAAAANY/-febrW36jr0/s1600-h/original.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168524829613308146" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ8tHjOPI/AAAAAAAAANY/-febrW36jr0/s320/original.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ89HjOQI/AAAAAAAAANg/_iiLzi-tNas/s1600-h/snowmagic.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168524833908275458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ89HjOQI/AAAAAAAAANg/_iiLzi-tNas/s320/snowmagic.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ9NHjORI/AAAAAAAAANo/oNylaJ7SKNc/s1600-h/threewishes.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168524838203242770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pJ9NHjORI/AAAAAAAAANo/oNylaJ7SKNc/s320/threewishes.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIXdHjOKI/AAAAAAAAAMw/-ZXFqaOLoFw/s1600-h/blowbubbles.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168523090151553186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIXdHjOKI/AAAAAAAAAMw/-ZXFqaOLoFw/s320/blowbubbles.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIX9HjOLI/AAAAAAAAAM4/8C2M5-L1oHo/s1600-h/birthday4.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168523098741487794" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIX9HjOLI/AAAAAAAAAM4/8C2M5-L1oHo/s320/birthday4.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIX9HjOMI/AAAAAAAAANA/TvSWMqr1kOY/s1600-h/bowling.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168523098741487810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIX9HjOMI/AAAAAAAAANA/TvSWMqr1kOY/s320/bowling.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIYNHjONI/AAAAAAAAANI/ZSDSZaW-jIY/s1600-h/cooking.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168523103036455122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIYNHjONI/AAAAAAAAANI/ZSDSZaW-jIY/s320/cooking.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIYtHjOOI/AAAAAAAAANQ/nsjTsDw3oQQ/s1600-h/halloween07.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168523111626389730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_MirDGJRtMhU/R7pIYtHjOOI/AAAAAAAAANQ/nsjTsDw3oQQ/s320/halloween07.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div>Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929586911579291480.post-80237795133448567792008-02-15T16:44:00.002-06:002008-02-15T16:51:37.282-06:00Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers-12Okay I am going to give this Sisterhood thing a shot.<br /><br />I am Melissia. I became a Stampin Up demo a little over a year ago and God Bless my 3 great friends for keeping me in business. The job part of it started to take away from the fun of stamping for me so right now I am just enjoying having *my* stamping time back and my friends are continuing to help me keep my demo status. This blog started out as a tool to help with my SU sales, but that is no longer the case. I feel free again to spend money on things that are not SU and you will see various products used in my crafting here. I also scrapbook and do other paper crafting.Melissiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12914175106428758032noreply@blogger.com
