I really don't understand how a community that is supposedly looking for credibility would even consider electing someone who gets so much wrong and then when her inaccuracies are pointed out, instead of setting the record straight says "Of course I have no evidence to support this, nor will anyone find any to refute it." Really, if I had the time I'd find the materials that were given to people that detailed what would be done. Of course that still wouldn't be good enough for Monte, she talked to two people and they couldn't possibly be wrong. Well I talked to two people who ACTUALLY worked on the Jefferson referendum and they said ".." well to paraphrase since their comments weren't very nice --- A rebuild at Oaklawn wasn't part of the Jefferson referendum.

Repairs/rebuild of Oaklawn was in the 2001 referendum the "Sunset" referendum. Oh and that referendum didn't run out of money, it failed to be passed by the voters. Interestingly enough, at the time, many said if there were just the replacement Sunset in the question they would have supported it, but they didn't like the money being spent at all the other schools...Teresa Thielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01097990067216672469noreply@blogger.com
