This Laptop Bag for my new MacBook Pro.

Now that I have a new computer, I need new software for my blog designs.

It wouldn't be MY CHRISTMAS LIST, without a new purse!

And maybe one of these.

And of course, some new Bath & Body Works (Country Apple) would always be nice!

I've tried to be good this year and not gloat about the fact that my beloved Crimson Tide is STILL undefeated, but, I can't go this week without saying...........

ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE!!!

This week we play our in-state rivals the Auburn Tigers and what kind of fan would I be if I didn't post the week of the Iron Bowl??

This game is UBER important because while we are all excited to be playing in the SEC Championship, those nasty Tigers can never be trusted or overlooked.

Here's to HOPEFULLY demolishing the Tigers and then HOPEFULLY winning out against the Florida Gators on Dec. 5th.

That 13th Championship sure would be nice!!!

The Plague, 2009.

For the past week, my family has been battling a mean little stomach bug.

Both of my kids got it first, but thankfully, they only threw up once and were done. My sister then got it, and again, only threw up once.

I on the other hand, am just about positive that I was attacked by some demon bug. Tuesday evening I started feeling bad and knew something ugly was taking over my body. Around 8:30 Tuesday night I was calling my mommy asking her to come stay with me and the kids.

I can honestly say that whatever it was I had, I don't wish it on my worst enemy. I slept for about 36 hours thanks to my neighbor and her phenegran, and came to the land of the living sometime Wednesday night.

My stomach is still not at 100% and I'm hoping with everything I have that our house has seen the last of The Plague, 2009.

Finally, a football game my kids can play!

Zach loves to play Football on the XBOX 360 with his Daddy, but unfortunately, he has an EXTREMELY hard time figuring out how to play NCAA '10.

So when I received an email about reviewing this game, I jumped on the chance.

What is it with people who think that they do no wrong? Why do they constantly feel that they need to blame others for their wrongdoing and not take responsibility for their actions?

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that no matter how much you care about someone, no matter how much you talk to them and try to get them to see that they need to make changes, until they want help, you can't give it to them!

And sometimes, unfortunately, I think that some people just don't want help. They are so comfortable living in denial and blaming other people for their mistakes, that they'd rather continue living like that than make changes.

Last night, when he came home from SC, he asked me to get his sleep pants out of his bag.

Of course, I told him no, that I was busy. Both he and my son were grinning ear to ear, and frankly, I was worried about what was in there. But once he convinced me, I did.

And let me just say, I am SO GLAD I did.

You see, I've been having TONS of trouble with my old CRAPPY, HP, POS, laptop. And ever since I got a hold of my inlaws Mac's, I've been jonesing for one.

Well, you can imagine my surprise to find this in my honey's bag.

Is he not the best or what?

He had convinced me that we HAD to wait until we got our tax returns in February.

Needless to say, my honey will be getting MUCHO lovin's for a long time!

Thank you baby, I LURVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT!

Well no wonder it's so dead around here!

I thought for sure that it would get tired of being deserted and write itself. Looks like I better get a handle on THE CRAZY that is my life or y'all may up and leave me!

First of all, my sister and her baby has moved in with us for a bit...so getting them settled in has been hectic.

Secondly, STOMACH BUG '09 has hit our house and has already taken down two victims. We are alert and waiting to see who will be next!

Let's just not hope it's me because I have way to much on my hands, I don't need to be hugging the porcelain throne.

Works for Me Wednesday: Bounce Dryer Bar

I can't say enough good things about the new Bounce Dryer Bar.
The one thing that I'm always forgetting to do is put Fabric Softener in either the washer or dryer. And do you know what that results in here in Alabama? MAJOR Static!!

So, when I heard about the new Bounce Dryer Bar, I thought I'd give it a whirl.

While at Target the next day I picked one up, going with the two month bar to test it out before I bought the big one.

When I got to the checkout counter, the lady said she loved hers, but it didn't last as long as it said. Apparently, she washes a lot of laundry. Because I have had mine for over a month and it's still got half the bar left.

My favorite part is that it smells HEAVENLY!

And the best part about it?

It stays stuck to the inside of my dryer and I never have to worry about forgetting the fabric softener. AND, I never have to worry about those freakin' dryer sheets that are forever getting strewn about the house.

I don't do well with disappointing my kids.

To be perfectly honest, I don't do well with not being able to give my kids everything they want at all.

You see, I have a classic case of "I didn't have a whole lot so I want my kids to have the world!"

Unfortunately, with two school aged kids, I sometimes have to disappoint them.

Why you ask? Well, because it's just not possible for me to be at two parties at once. I try my best to divide myself equally between them, but sometimes it just so happens that one has more going on than the other. And truthfully, I doubt they notice it as much as I do, but it still bothers me.

It seems like for the past few weeks I've been running around like crazy for Zach and his class. Last week was his Birthday Extravaganza and in between all of that, I was having to help his teacher (I go once a week to run copies, etc for her) and finish our part of the Fall Festival (I'm the room mom).  So naturally, I have felt like this week I needed to put a little more attention on Reagan, and I thought today would be the perfect day to do so. You see, they are having the Fall Festival today and I had planned to come and hang out with her. In fact, we talked about nothing but that the whole time we were in carpool.

And then, disaster struck. Apparently a few things have changed and they are going to be doing it all day, with breaks in between. So instead of having the usual 2 hours of time where I could come hang out with her, it was going to be divided up, making it almost impossible for me to do so.

Y'all, when I found that out it just broke my heart. That sweet little angel thinks that Mommy is going to come hang out with her at her school and she will soon find out that that isn't so. And you know what, I'm not sure my heart can take that.

Hopefully, she won't be too upset about it and I'll make it up to her by spending the rest of the day before we get Zach at school pampering her.

What I want to know is, how do you moms with more than one kid do it?

This weekend we celebrated Zach's 6th Birthday at the local bowling alley.

Mark and I love to bowl and we've started taking the kids for family nights. The last time we went, we stayed for the Cosmic Bowling and Zach immediately exclaimed that he HAD to have his party there!

After looking into it, I found out that it's one of the cheapest party places around!

Last week while dropping Reagan off at preschool, her teacher stopped me and told me she wanted to let me know how proud of Reagan she was.

Apparently, because Reagan has shown herself to be one of the more mature kids in her class, she has been chosen to help a classmate named Ritchie.

Ritchie is autistic and needs help doing things that most kids can do for themselves.

Mrs. Joyce said that Reagan has taken on this job and is doing very well with it. That she could totally see Reagan as a teacher one day.

The funniest part to me was that Reagan hadn't even mentioned it. Here she is helping a child in her class, helping him do his work, pack and unpack for the day, playing with him on the playground and I had no clue what an awesome, sweet girl she was while at school.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I would totally argue with anyone that she is the most beautiful, amazing, smart, sweet girl in the world. Her compassion and demeanor never ceases to amaze me.

But doing this for someone who truly needs it without having to? Helping out this boy who could very well be pushed aside? LOVE HER FOR THAT!

How did I get so lucky as to have two of the most wonderful children in the world?

In less than 3 hours, my sweet firstborn will be six years old. SIX!!!

How did that happen???? It seems like just yesterday that he was learning to sit.

and having his first birthday......

and becoming a big brother......

and learning how to swim......

He's grown into such a little man.

Losing teeth, starting Kindergarten, learning to read, playing basketball, making real friendships....

Where did the time go?
