We woke to the shocking news that Michael Jackson may have passed away. As the morning continued, more and more reports began to confirm that he had a heart attack and was not breathing when paramedics attended his home.

Michael Jackson has been named the King of Pop and his albums have been heard by and sold to millions around the world.

Even though he may have done things a little 'unusual' we still must remember all of the great hits he brought into our lives.

May his music live on forever.

Would you eat an 8000 calorie burger?

Only in America. That's the best way to put this article of a fast-food restaurant that's selling Single, Double Triple and Quadruple Bypass Burgers.

You can probably guess why they call them those names when we tell you that their biggest burger contains 8000 calories!!

Waitresses dress as hot young nurses and customers are dressed in patient coats - to resemble a hospital (which is probably where you'll end up for dessert).

Obviously this place is being criticised for its promotion of dangerous eating, but seriously... you'd have to have big time munchies to eat here.

Maybe next we'll be hearing of Harold & Kumar Go To Heart Attack Grill.

Underbelly 3 set to go ahead

Well as hoped, it has been announced. Channel Nine will go ahead with a third series of the hit Underbelly. They're planning on filming it before the end of 2009 and this time, it will be a link between the two previous stories.

It'll be called Underbelly: The Golden Mile and looks to be based on Sydney's infamous Kings Cross back in its hey day.

Will Underbelly 3 be as good as the first two? Will we get to see old Vince in it? If so, this time will he make more than one appearance?

More importantly, how much further can Underbelly actually go once it links up the first two?

Ramsay vs. Grimshaw: Is it for real?

At a recent live show, Gordon Ramsay has said some pretty bad things about A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw. But is this all for real?

Ironically, Ramsay's fame in Australia has been much to the work of Channel Nine, to which Grimshaw works at. Has Gordon lashed out to promote just how offensive he can be on his reality television shows?

More importantly, if this is for real, why hasn't Channel Nine acted in a way and stopped from screening any of Ramsay's television programs?

A verbal attack? Or a way to win ratings?

The Chaser cross the line... yet again

Once again the boys from ABC's controversial TV show, The Chaser have caused much publicity with their recent showing of a mocking of the Make A Wish Foundation. They have done a skit which refers to seriously ill children making a realistic wish.

The boys already have a bad track record of doing things like this... so why does the ABC still allow them go to air?

Lap band surgery to be paid for by tax payers?

So here he is, announcing another tour later this year, along with a new album to go with it.

What would you do if the bank gave you $10m?

You may have already heard the news from New Zealand where a bank has accidentally given a couple $10m instead of $10,000. Well, what have they decided to do?

A runner.

They're off spending it big time, with everybody wondering where they are.

Which brings up the question, what would you do if the bank accidentally handed you $10m? Would you spend it, putting you in risk of having to pay it back (with interest)? Or would you report it immediately and resolve the error?

... Many Australians would probably choose to spend it - just like they have already done with the Prime Minister's stimulus money ...

Matthew Johns: Should the media just leave him alone?

Pretty much most of this week has been taken up by former NRL star and now also former Channel 9 personality Matthew Johns and the events which occurred back in 2002.

Nothing illegal happened back then. The only thing that has happened since is that it has recently come into the media limelight. And it couldn't have come at a worse time.

With all this negative publicity towards NRL players and women, no wonder this while Johns saga has blown way out of proportion.

As he said in an interview on A Current Affair, it was all sorted and no charges were laid.

All of this recent bad publicity towards Matthew Johns has only to do with the image of the NRL and the image of Channel 9. It has nothing to do with legalities.

Hence, we should leave him alone.

Would you 'bus it' more if it was free?

Earlier this week we heard talk about the possibility making all public transport free to use. Well as soon as the idea was put across, it was pretty much put away.

But would this be a good idea or not?

Just imagine what it would be like if all bus, train & ferry travel was free of charge. Would it make that much of a difference? Would it encourage you to travel more on public transport and less in your own car? Would you even care?

It would have been good to see the Government talk about it a little bit more because surely free public transport would be welcomed by some people... especially those who are already spending more than $10 a week.

Although come to think of it, the State Government did increase fares this year - so going from an increase in price to a total removal of price would be very un-Government like.

But honestly speaking, what is it?

What does Easter mean to you? Is it all about searching for Easter eggs? Or is it more about spending money at the Easter Show? Oh... and does the word Church come into the picture at all?

In the end, all that matters is that you spend the day with family. Happy Easter.

Can Sydney handle such a power outage?

As many parts of Sydney were left in the dark, so too were those seeking answers.

Energy Australia said that it must first pinpoint the problem before it could begin work to resolve it. But is this the best method?

Surely the obvious answer would be to immediately move affected areas onto a back-up supplier or generator. This was not so - leaving parts of the CBD, North Sydney and patches of the Eastern Suburbs out of power for several hours. Not to mention the fact that the entire Harbour Tunnel and part of the Eastern Distributor had to close.

This sent Sydney into turmoil - and it wasn't even a terrorist attack.

Why couldn't the energy companies give us an upfront explanation of the problem; what caused it; and how long it will be before power is restored?

It can be confidently said that after this humiliating situation for Energy Australia, the State Government would have to intervene and do something to avoid such chaos.

It looks like Earth Hour will occur twice this year - let's hope that's it for now.

The NEW Simpsons Intro

Well... What do you think of it? The first thing which comes to mind is "why?" and "why didn't they change it earlier?" Maybe it's just their style... similarly with The Simpsons Movie - that took a fair while to develop.

The new intro does an excellent job in balancing the original theme and scenes, yet still manages to include a lot of the regulars. Great work to Groening & team.

Jenny's recent bisexual "ex-boyfriend" (inset) Shayne, has come out to say that he was doing nothing but playing the role of a 'decoy'. That's right! Jenny was using this man as a cover up so that she could continue to have a relationship with her father.

Aussie's pull together for Victorian bushfires

Isn't it good to see the true Aussie spirit come to life in times of need?

Just the other day, Austereo's Today and Triple M networks joint forces to raise over $2 million for the victims of the recent Victorian bushfires. That same day, the cricket on Channel 9 raised another $4 million. And then later on, Channel 9 then raised even more with its nation-wide appeal.

It's sad yet uplifting to know that whenever any of our mates are in need, that the more fortunate of us will always pull together and lend a caring hand.
