Since the definition of rock has not been clearly defined by the music industry, the identification of the classic rock apart from alternative rock is much more difficult. The classic rock more refers to the time of its origin, rather the type, genre or style of rock music. This style of music has become very popular soon thereafter the emerging. Beside love, friendship, lifestyle and freedom, rock has been dedicated to express also concerns about the politics through either the lyrics or through the screaming vocal performance. Remember the Vietnam War and the song "Us and Them" of Pink Floyd.

There is large number of famous Rock groups. One of the most recognized “Essential Classic Rock” albums is "Sticky Fingers" of Rolling Stones. If you are going to start your own business you should do a lot of research to find out one which fits your goal. According to the statistics about 80% of Internet based businesses are not trustworthy. To not fall into the trap of scam you have to be very careful with selection. The best way to get oriented is to talk somebody who is already involved in that kind of business.

Remember, there is no lawful way to get reach overnight unless you win a mega million lottery. There are businesses in this industry who take an advantage of customers, seducing them with their “selling letters” to pocket money. Why is it so difficult to distinguish legitimate businesses from scams? It is, because the copywriter (the creator of a website) for both legitimate and scam sites possibly could be the same professional. Before starting an online business you should do a lot of research to not fall into the trap of scam sites.

Nevertheless thousands of people have discovered a powerful alternative to their regular job. It’s known also as the hardest mineral in nature. Diamond’s “genetic” brother –graphite has absolutely opposite physical characteristics. Diamond is an excellent insulator while graphite is very good conductor of electricity. Optically diamond is perfectly transparent while graphite has no sign of transparency. Diamond is very hard; graphite is soft and can be used as a lubricant. The second after diamond hardest mineral is corundum (sapphire, ruby). Upon this, diamond is still 4 times harder than corundum. In jewelry business both diamond and corundum are in the list of most valuable gem stones. The superior optical characteristics and the hardness are the main values of diamond’s high demand in both industry and jewelry business.

Nothing can be more brilliant than diamond. The fascinating light-fire performance of diamond as a gem stone is possible because of the high optical density and cut proportions of the crystal. It’s done in a way that entering light after several inner reflections completely is coming out. While transparent diamond may have a different colors (all rainbow colors). Usually the price for regular 1 carat starts from $1,000.However the weight is not the only the critical point for price. There are some very famous and extremely expensive diamonds like The Blue Magic (12.02 carat) fancy vivid blue diamond. The Hope, the big rare blue diamond (45.52 carat) however the most expensive is the rare blue 6.04 carat (1carat=200mg) diamond with the breathtaking sparkle and price soled recently - US$7.98 million. Their heavy-rock, with Jimmy Page’s fascinating guitar performance and interesting interpretations of different genres including blues, classic and folk music got the hearts and minds of the entire generation. This was the group of having the greatest popularity in 70’s. Many rock groups have been greatly influenced by Led Zeppelin.
It’s about 28 years as Led Zeppelin has disbanded. However because of very dedicated people they still are alive. Thanks LedZeppelinLives.com for doing this great job.

IDoNeuroScience.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04064698475160968521noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749231443783857918.post-44315144748549249232008-04-08T02:23:00.000-04:002008-04-08T02:26:26.019-04:00Decoration, Attraction and Desensitization
Kitchen is the place in house where life becomes less stressful (if you still have something left in refrigeratorJ). Assuming that refrigerator isn’t just an idle consumer of electricity, everyone in family will like kitchen. Many of us enjoy our every day’s breakfast or whatever in the kitchen (except commuters, who prefer have that in car while driving and cell phoningJ). Not only the organic/inorganic content of refrigerator but also the decoration in the kitchen may completely eliminate or greatly enhance our enjoyment from food or drink.

Similarly, decoration in other corners of our home affects on our activity. However even very attractive decoration can’t be effective forever. Our sensors day by day are getting adopted to the same signals and becoming less sensitive to the same attractions. This phenomenon in neuroscience is known as desensitization- that’s when becoming less responsive to attraction by repeated exposure to the same object or situation. That’s why we always need to expose ourselves to something new. Every time you worn a new dress or new shoes, you drive a new car or experience a new job-you are much exited but it doesn’t last forever. For instance a few days are enough to forget about your new shoes (for safety reason- we’ll avoid the discussion regarding the situation with a new girlfriend or boyfriendJ). For other staff it takes may be more or less.

The same situation is with home decoration. Rearrangement or remodeling enhances attraction. Bad remodeling enhances negative attraction and vice versa. By default we prefer positive signals. So please go head and renew the decoration in every facility in your home. How? Visit www.HomeDecorationQueen.com and you’ll learn everything about the remodeling. If you are planning for not expensive and attractive renovation in your home this site is just one you need. You’ll find very interesting solutions in every aspects of decorating.

IDoNeuroScience.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04064698475160968521noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749231443783857918.post-67392090872340928592008-04-02T18:50:00.000-04:002008-04-05T19:29:42.315-04:00Food , environment and neurotoxins

Food is a mixture of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and water. It also may contain vitamins and minerals. Usually food components have a vegetarian or animal origin. However there are many food supplements having artificial origin (sweeteners, colors, artificial flavoring components). During cultivation vegetarian food products may become contaminated with some chemicals being used as fertilizers or pesticides. Processing procedures such as cooking, frying, pasteurizing, etc. food may get additional harmful substances (coloring, artificial flavoring and preserving components). Thus our every day’s food potentially contains harmful chemicals-toxins.

Environment where we live day by day becomes more polluted. Every day tons of potentially dangerous for our health chemicals are being thrown into the rivers, lakes, seas and ocean basins. According to the statement of the National Research Council, about 70,000 chemicals in commercial use today have not been tested whether they have toxic effects. It is estimated that many diseases and the majority of all cancers are a direct result of toxins in our environment and food. Since we breathe, eat and drink, chemicals through our digestive system and lung continuously enter into our bloodstream. All the toxins which can pass through the blood brain barrier potentially can reach any and every cell in our body including neuronal cells.

Some of these substances have neurotoxic effects. Heavy metals - lead, mercury, cadmium and pesticides are the most dangerous part of environmental contamination and they all are neurotoxins. In case they are odorless and/or colorless it makes impossible their sensory detection. The symptoms of poisoning from environmental pollution may not be observable because of their gradually build-up. Neurotoxins act directly on neuronal and muscle cell membranes changing their functional activity. Since the nervous system is connected to the immune system, neurotoxins eventually affect our immune system. Thus, our thinking and feeling normally can be dramatically affected by exposure to toxins. Can we avoid this danger? In fact, we don’t have many options. Today the only remaining practical way is getting Organic Food. But how long?

IDoNeuroScience.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04064698475160968521noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749231443783857918.post-60059164084043076602008-03-11T09:18:00.000-04:002008-03-11T09:22:15.220-04:00Brain Parts

 Cerebrum

About 85% of your brain is the Cerebrum. It makes you able to solve your math, play chess or video games, write an e-mail , draw pictures, remember your friend’s birthday, the color of your sister’s eyes and many-many other things. Cerebrum makes the difference between human beings and animals. You probably have mentioned your dog doesn’t play chess as good as you doJ. It’s accepted that the right half is responsible for abstract thinking-related to colors, shapes while the left half helps you with speech, counting and solving. Left part is more analytical device than right half. Also it’s known that the right half of your cerebrum controls the left side of your body and the left half controls the right side (note that this is true for your first half of life only, I mean before marriage. They believed that thinking happened somewhere around the lungs! Hahaha!!! What’s a shame!!! Wait! And stop laughing. There is no reason for that. In real life, you probably have noticed that some individuals often think around the lungs or even more lover part of their body but brainJ. Only in seventeenth and eighteenth centuries the brain was seen as an organ of intelligence and thought, as the concept of the mind emerged.

Brain is the most important and the most complex organ among other organs in the human body. For some people brain(head) is the second favorite organ:).Brain controls the function of all organs and regulates virtually all human activity. As it was mentioned also in previous post, brain is made of soft delicate tissue that would be injured by even the slightest pressure. That’s why it is well protected inside your skull. However , your brain is still vulnerable to the damage from inside. The possible cause of damage may be emotions, fear , stress , medications and drugs.

Brain is made of many parts, each of which has a bunch of specific functions to perform. Brain can be divided into four areas: the cerebrum, the diencephalons, the brain stem and the cerebellum. Each part of brain is responsible for very specific tasks. and they act like a highly organized team members. The cerebrum is the largest part of your brain. It sits on top of the rest of your brain, like a mushroom cap covering its stalk. It has a intensively folded grey surface, the pattern of which is different from one person to the next. This is kind of biometrics which are unique for every individual (fingerprints, iris color etc). Let us call it“head prints” or “brain prints” or better “mind prints”:). With the use of modern forms of technology, scientists have been able to look at the brain activity when we perform different tasks. How do you memorize them? What is the memory?

Why do your eyes blink without you ever thinking about it? Where do dreams come from? And how do you know they are dreams? How do you classify them?

Yesterday you enjoyed the diner with your friends. How do you know it was yesterday and it was a dinner and with your friends? You even remember the taste of every food you had. How? What is a taste? How do you feel that?

How do you walk, dance, eat or sleep? Who is controlling your body while you slip? There are tons of questions like these. From the first instance it seams you do know the answers. Don't you?

In fact it’s not easy to answer to these all questions if you don’t know about structure and function of brain. Your brain is the one responsible for these things and a whole lot more. Your brain is the boss of your body. It runs and controls just about everything you do.

It is more powerful and much faster than any computer you've ever seen or used. Brain is a very sophisticated information processing device.
It looks like wrinkly, gray and as soft as an avocado flesh while can make very hard and strong decisions. It's almost as heavy as a carton pack of fruit juice when you’re young. By the time you're grown up, it will weigh about a large size pizza.

Animals also have brain (nervous systems) which, while differently organized, are fundamentally similar in terms of their basic function. Brain works like a multychannel input/output device - a system whose primary function is to receive, transform, and emit signals (information). We need to understand how our brain is functioning.

Neuroscience - the only way to answer above mentioned questions.

IDoNeuroScience.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04064698475160968521noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749231443783857918.post-32417684099641189602008-03-03T17:52:00.000-05:002008-03-03T17:33:14.605-05:00NeuroscienceThe nervous system is a vast network of cells that controls almost everything our body does. Many of the nervous system's functions are not yet fully understood. This is why neuroscience is growing. Neuroscientists study how the nervous system functions and how it affects the body's biology, behavior, sensory systems, thought processes, diseases, and much more.

Neuroscience has been around for several thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians believed that the brain did not control intelligence; rather, intelligence was concentrated in the heart. This explains why the brain was usually removed before mummification. Much later, Greeks and Romans began theorizing that the brain was responsible for processing senses and thought. In the 1890's, single neurons began being observed due to the development of the microscope and staining procedures. Even though neuroscience has taught people quite a bit about the nervous system, there is still a large amount that people do not fully understand. There are several subgroups of neuroscience. For example, behavioral science studies physical behavior, the effects of chemicals, and sensory processing. In addition, psychology is a small portion of cognitive neuroscience, and studies social behaviors, learning, emotions, and many more functions.

Neuroscience is a broad field of study that encompasses many aspects of the human body. It seems that each individual section of neuroscience has a special way of observing it. The study has come a long way from the views of the Egyptians. In a few thousand years, there is a good chance that people will look at what we know today as rudimentary.

IDoNeuroScience.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04064698475160968521noreply@blogger.com1
