In 2005 Republicans warned of the pending disaster and were ostracized as being unsympathetic to the plight of the lower income. Who made out on the deal? Cox, O'Bama, Pelosi, Frank...and don't jump down my throat, I am one of those above the poverty line-but did NOT fall for the free give away rhetoric. Maybe Clinton & the Democrats need to fess up to their role in this fiasco!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8704589398538755046.post-59991337510693118582008-10-06T07:59:00.000-04:002008-10-06T07:59:00.000-04:00And when the gov. needs something MORE than the ta...And when the gov. needs something MORE than the taxes from our paycheck? Are you donating that money?

And don't tell me it comes out of my taxes ... that money's not mine anyway. How can I pay for something with money that's not mine?

Everyone knows you look at the net figure on your paycheck to figure out how to pay the bills. The only time I worry about the gross is when I apply for a car loan -- then I have to look it up. I'm not sure why they bother asking, since I'll never see some of that money.Angel Jimeneznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8704589398538755046.post-75164702728922494722008-10-05T21:50:00.000-04:002008-10-05T21:50:00.000-04:00Our Founding Fathers believed land ownership was f...Our Founding Fathers believed land ownership was for white men.

Guaranteeing mortgages and 1.8 trillion dollar buyouts are outside the scope.

There was a huge controversy over building continental railroads using federal money, even though state commerce and transportation would increase.

Angel, you're not borrowing that book for free, nor is public school for free.
