This is a tough one. I agree with crackinup that it's between Brendan and Ryan. Ryan went 49.99 in the 100 back wow! But Brendan owns that 200 breaststroke. That's up there with Hackett owning the 1500 which is out of this world!

I don't think this is Michael or Aaron's year to win, but wow, how do you choose between Bren and Ryan? They both had phenomenal years and broke remarkable records. I mean, breaking your own WRs 3 times in a month vs. setting a record just about every time you get in the pool at NCAAs, followed by a couple SCM WRs? I would not want to be making that decision, they both deserve to win.

I agree!! Even though I like Michael, he's already won this award and Brendan hasn't (that I know of). Plus, being able to break your world record in the same event, so close (meet wise) to each other, that's gotta count for something! So Bren should totally win...!!!
