I just got an update from them this morning and as of Friday there had been nearly $400 donated. They've also added an increment of $18 for the Jewish fans who had inquired about doing that.

Last night a show about the 'Jose Carreras Leukemia Foundation' aired in German tv. They told the stories of a lot of people with leukemia. Many of them healthy again, others still fighting the battle and yet again many lost their lives, because doctors couldn't help anymore. Therefore research is so very important.
I think what Brendan does is really great and I have much respect for that

Thanks for posting this hun. I think it's a great idea... and a really meaningful way to show our support. I hope that there will be a big response to this. Spare a few bucks and spread the holiday love in a lovely way!
