yesterday... one of our senior engineer had his farewell speech in front of all the employees during our morning meeting... he has been in the company for more than 10 years... for someone who had been in the company for such a long time, it seems so hard to believe that he is bidding goodbye... it's not the money, it's not his boss or the management... i could not think of any reason why...if you were there listening, you'll also be bothered and would ask why is he leaving... and then he unfolds his reason.... the culprit behind his decision... he says, he's leaving not because of the people he work with... also not because of salary... and of course it's not about his work... he loves his work.. that's why he had stayed long in his field of work...he is just answering the call from someone 3 years ago... it's has been a very long pending call from God... and today is the day that he was able to answer his call... he said that he will be entering a totally different work, a totally different life starting tomorrow... and starting tomorrow he will be an others-centered person.. rather than a self-centered one...
a noble deed... a noble answer...good luck to him and may God always bless him...

second best bowling score

ehehehe just want to share with you my second best scores in my bowling experience... i'm not that really good at throwing big heavey king pin balls and slide over to hit 10 pins at the end of the bowling lane.... ehehe sometimes the balls goes off the lane... and everybody laugh... ehehehe it was fun... we had fun, thus we had our second game... and in the second game that i got my second best score... that's me NEP who got a 133.... i actually got 2 strikes consecutively... i was trying to get my 3rd strike when my luck has ran out.. eheheheh

ideal sleeping hours

I've read an article from yahoo talking about the How much Sleep is Ideal.

And i was intrigued with what it revealed. It says that people who sleep between 6.5 hours and 7.5 hours a night live the longest. And those who sleep 8 hours or more, or less than 6.5 hours, don't live quite as long. waaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... well fortunately for the past few months and even last year i slept around more than 6.5 hours daily. ehehehehehe i usually sleep at 12 midnight and woke up at 7 in the morning. Guess i'll gonna live longer than i thought. The article also mentioned that there is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at 8 hours. Sleeping 8.5 hours might really be a little worse than sleeping 5 hours. whoa! I couldn't believe that sleeping longer that 8 hours would lead to sickness that would lead to many illnesses. For the details please click here.

for a long years of not having murder in the city, 2 died last May 25, 2008. cousins Rommel and Rey were shot dead in a restaurant by a suspected triggerman, a son of a prominent family/clan in Davao City... since this family is a powerful one, fathers of the victims fears that the case will be long forgotten... as i have read the new's, i saw one of the names cited as my former student in on e of the university in Davao... i thought he has done such crime... probably it was his brother who did it... click here for the details.

i was awarded with a special recognition for getting a 99% in my attendance for 1 year.... not bad huh?? i got no absences only sick leaves though.. ehehehehe the award was just a small amount, but it was ok... i've been maintaining it for the last 3 years already and so far i did not fail eheheh but getting a perfect attendance seems so hard eheheh though i was close to it but somehow it's difficult to do it... ehehhe

bicycle crash

at around 11:20 AM, am on my way to the gym for a saturday work-out, at the crossing of Yague and Pasong Tamo St., on the pedestrian crossing, a bicycle with a cool old man driving it crash into me while i was crossing the two lane street... since i was already in the middle of the street on my way to cross it, i thought he would evade me or just pass me... but unfortunately the old man forgot to hit its break or turn his bicycle either on his left or right... and he goes right through me... but since i was aware of it... i tried my best to stop him and his bicycle... with my left hand i was holding his steering wheel and forced it to stop... wow! am i that strong? ehehehe well i don't know.. probably adrenalin rush... hahahahah i was lucky coz i don't have any scratch or injuries... well i don't know with the old man... because after he hit me.. he just go on his way like nothing happens.. he was a bit rude.. he didn't even apologize or check if i was ok.. or probably he just assume that i was ok coz i was still standing...damn you old man... hope you will have a long life... ehehehehehe

motorcycle accident

me, F-sensei and my 3 trainees were on our way to Alabang... in a taxi we were cruising the Osmena Highway... then at lightning speed 3 motorcyles overtaken us zigzagging their way on the other cars... we all knew that the highway was the dangerous place for them because of speeding cars, big trucks and trailers... F-sensei was a bit nervous and buckles her sitbelt tight...and we were making comments on them that riding a motorcyle on a highway is scary and a 50-50 chance of living... and then the taxi driver said "soon one of them will get into an accident...."
then we stop chatting for awhile and kept quite.... then suddenly, in an instant while passing the Skyway, one of the motorcyle hit the back of another taxi cab breaking it's front wheel and throwing it's driver high up the sky and hitting the concrete road with his back first... with his head almost hit by the cabs rear wheel... poor guy.... fortunately the private car following him had hit its break and stop... avoiding his tattered motorcycle and him laying on the road... we just hope he's still alive.. if so, probably he would have lots of broken bones...

there is not much for today... i've been doing my usual and routinary activities...everyday, it would be nice and lucky enough if i got to finish one task...been bored lately... i don't know why... it's just that learning suddenly stop...excitement was gone... motivation is not that high... i even beg for someone to motivate me or crack a joke just to keep me moving... i was trying not to think of it... divert my attention to some interesting stuff thinking that i would lead me to work hard... to think and think more... but sometimes it hurts...as of now, i have no luck... i've been complaining to myself why had i become wasted that well in-fact this would be the right time for to show-off and let them know that i had done something nice and good... but unfortunately myself betray me...even now i'm battling with my own shadow... who will win that i don't know...

today is grandpa’s burial… he will be laid down on his final resting place…. inside a fine shiny coffin buried in a 6 feet deep grave in his final moments… i can hear moans, crying, weeping, shouting, the pain in their hearts, of loosing a loveone…sending him off to a place no one knows, no one understand… "have a safe trip…and peace be with you.." other’s would utter… "bring me with you…" my grandma would beg with tears flowing… such a sad day… a sad moment… a sad life…
