David Carradine found dead

Actor David Carradine was found dead in Bangkok, Thailand. He was supposed to shoot a movie two days prior to his death. Police are still investigating if it's suicide. They're also looking into the possibility that it was an accident - he may have suffered heart failure due to orgasm.

According to reports:

"The two ropes were tied together," he said. "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure due to an orgasm."

Once in a while, I fill my iPod with music from up and coming artists. I personally love hip hop music and RnB. I was browsing through some MySpace pages and found this guy called Nyce Billy. I instantly liked his single ‘Pour it on The Floor’. I thought the song was well-written and will surely be a nice addition to my iPod. Truly, MySpace has become the breeding ground for new artists. It is nice to find ones who are actually good like Nyce Billy. I found out that he won first prize Faces in the Crowd Showcase. Since then, everyone took notice of this guy’s talent.

Due to the popularity of his songs on the site, he has recently signed on with Everything to Gain Entertainment which will surely launch his music career. Nice! If you want to hear more songs from this guy, you can log on to his MySpace page or the ETG Entertainment myspace page . Nyce Billy will have an upcoming gig on Easter Sunday – April 12 along with other hip hop artists. If you are in the mood to discover new music you can put on your iPod this is the best way to do so.

Everyone's so excited about the Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen! Aside from having more Autobots and Decepticons this time around, there's buzz brewing that Megatron will be returning in the movie. Hmmm...

If you've seen the trailer, you'll be amazed at this huge robot shown in the clip. Wanna know who that is? Apparently, it's a group of robots called Constructicons (from the Decepticon family). The huge robot is called The Devastator: A giant robot formed by Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster.

X-Men: First Class

When X-Men: The Last Stand came out, I was sorely disappointed. The treatment of the Phoenix saga was very different from what I've read on the comics. The effects were great but the story was crap. I was hoping the next X-Men movie will be great so I am counting on X-Men Origins: Wolverine to kill my bad memory of that last movie.

Good news is they're working on a new movie which will focus on the younger X-Men members. Dubbed as 'X-Men: First Class'. The comic book focused on the much younger Jean Grey, Cyclops and Angel when they were still Professor Charles Xavier's students.

The bad news: Gossip Girl creator Josh Scwhartz is going to do the writing. We hope it will be more action and less teen drama.

Twilight hits BIG

I finally had the chance to finish reading 'Twilight'. I admit I was pretty excited about the movie but I thought the last 50 pages of the book was just too much cheese. There was too much 'Can't live without you' crap than I can take. I had to skip some pages until I get to the real story.

But I will still be watching the movie. According to reports, the movie's opening earnings is much bigger than the biggest James Bond and Indiana Jones movies. And to think it only had a budget of $35 Million. Huge. I guess we'll be seeing the second book's movie soon.

Sad news though, critics have given 'Twilight' cold reviews. Did they expect too much? Or does the movie have the same amount of cheese and they just couldn't handle it?

I haven't finished reading 'Twilight' but I'm already excited about the release of the film. I hope the movie won't disappoint us. The novel isn't as bad as I thought when I read the first few pages. Anyway, you must have heard of that incident where Robert Pattison was in a book signing event and a kid came up to him and said 'Bite me! Bite me!' I hope it's not your kid :)

Aretha Franklin has been named the greatest singer of all and I have to say that is quite accurate. The problem? Mariah Carey, who we all admire for her unique whistle register landed on number 79! I smell fury coming from Mimi's camp - especially when rivals like Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston are both in much higher positions on the list. Aguilera is #58 and Houston is #34.

When they said Madonna they will have Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in one stage at Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour leg in Los Angeles, they weren't really lying. They both went on stage but not at the same time. Britney performed Human Nature with Madonna while Justin Timberlake performed 4 minutes with her.
