Here's my latest contribution to the International Moleskine Exchange. This one was in Toby's book. After it goes to Gustav in Japan, and he finishes and sends it on, it will have made it around the world. I believe it will be the first one to make it back to the beginning. Here's my drawing / painting for Cristina's book. There's a mini Moleskine in there, with a few references to my fellow Moly-8-ers. Plus some other slightly random works within, including a reference to one of my favourite internet songs. It's weird what goes through your head sometimes when filling pages!

Here's a scene I've added to Melissa's book. Not quite the typical vision of the perfect holiday, but maybe still with some summery essence. The drawings are kind of transcribed from ones I did whilst sunning myself on the quayside, in the village of Vernazza, Cinque Terra, Italy.

Here's what I drew in Kom-K's moleskine. I really was trying to get looser and use a lot of different textures, but still make it cohesive. I liked what Kom-K & Cristina did in this sketchbook and tried to continue the theme. I used acrylic paint, white correction fluid, India ink, ballpoint pen, marker, brush pen and collage. Here's my piece following Gustav's theme "memory of my favourite things". I do have a Lancewood plant (left) and a snowboard :-) I don't like to think I own the forest but when I stand there and take in its special appeal, its my own space for those magic few moments. Loving the work everyone's turning out and can't wait to see more.

Here are the sketches I have drawn in my book for the first exchange. I hope you other artists will mess with them, adding, coloring and manipulating my images.
