Results are out!

ok, i did fairly ok.. relatively well compared to the past considering that my cap score has increased. A mere 0.1 though. Anyway the grades are in the range of B-Cs, could have done better for some of the modules if i'm not so slack. hehe anyway, i don't wanna blog too much here nowadays because my blog is going to shift to my new website! i love the smilies i pixelled for my website, and thats the main reason why i'm going to relocated my blog entries. Also, since i'm able to use skins( you can choose skin/theme layout if i have more than one, but currently still under construction), i thought i should really shift over there. Check out for more updates soon, ya?

abandon?

I'm still thinking whether i should put my blog into my new website. That is to mean the abandonment of this blog space. My website content is de facto a blog site now. yes, i have shifted all my 92 blog posts from here over there. No other posts or content is put up, still under major construction.

I'm uncertain if i should continue blogging here, or blog over my new website [which i paid for it]. The continuation of blogging in this space will mean that the posts at my website will be serving as an archive (or backup, whatever you call it).

On a sidenote, its my fresh attempt on .php scripting for my website. And its a real headache not to rely too much on the blogging tool [which have added functions to create pages for my site], as if anything screws up my database, even the pages will be gone. I'm trying my best to ensure a regular and workable backup of the database.

So much so, i think i should let my blogders vote soon for whether you want to read my blog at this space, or at my new website.

I'm allowing previewing of my website here, since the layout is done. But check up soon for new updates!

my best friend asked me what i want for birthday... in fact, it went like this before i was asked

ok, the sms chat was pretty long.

actually i am more interested on receiving a present that suits my needs more than my wants. But its pretty tough to think of something I will need urgently besides money .

Sidetracking a bit, i'd bought for myself a sling bag which fits more to my wants, but that was a little treat for myself for this special 21st bday and xmas.

besides the thought of getting another smaller sling bag, which i fall absolutely in love with yet doesn't seems to be practical as I have similar sizes bags, i am clueless in what i need. I don't think i seriously need another small bag, although it shd be sufficient to fit in Keai, a small water bottle, purse and my hp. those bags come in different colors too, which is another headache.

on a deeper thought, i thought if I think in the direction of something that i can use on a daily basis, i might be able to draw up my wish lists to facilitate the buying of presents for me.

first thing comes to mind are toiletries: shampoos, scrubs, conditioners, etc. I don't really in need of shampoo/conditioner as I'm at the experimenting stage, in search of the most suitable formula for my frequent hair drops. Needless to say, the rest of the toiletries are either provided by home, or simply, not needed.

Secondly, comes to dressing. Before I truly lost sufficiently weight to regain my initial figure , i should not buy too much clothes that might not fit after I have lost the weight. Pants and shirts are out. Looking deeper, , i think something could be nice but won't be a very presentable gift.

I want a lingerie [set].

More particularly, I want the t-shirt, one-piece seamless bra from Triumph!

It would be great if someone can buy me one, , although inappropriate. Nevertheless, I have been eyeing on the t-shirt one piece seamless bra, the pink one!, when they were released for sales.

I accept indirect gifting of the bra set too, if you find it difficult to buy my size or ask my size, you can give me a metro gift card - i think since its xmas, they have a xmas design one, would love to own that. I accept any amount up to $2000. , btw its an alternative to a gift voucher, even more benefits like it can be reused if the amount was not spent in a single receipt; can be topped up with more funds. I dunno if i can top up with cash if the funds not sufficient for the bra set, but nevertheless, since i can reload funds anytime i want, i believe putting in the balance and buying it with the card is the same. I would be better if the amount is enough to cover the total cost, so check out the price before topping up the funds.

hee, i have finished making christmas cards for this year's christmas. Now, come to think of it, i have sort of misplace my contact list which contains information on the addresses of my friends. Should have make an online/computer database of it. store it inside my gmail or what.

Well, not exactly very true though, here is my defence. =X

i think they mix up being friendly and trying to do some ice breaking as..

Custom Emoticon/Display Picture Backup wizard does not install itself to your computer, its like an executable software itself after you have unzipped. Therefore, it should be rather safe. ok, probably most of you will think i'm relief because my exams are over today. But NO, this is not the main reason.

I don't know for how long already, but as much as i can recall it's within my uni life and probably up to a year ago that i had this extra phone with a sim card, a nokia 3100.

i'd signed up for this phone with a 2yr contract then, before i renewed my exisiting number and gotten current phone.

at first, i usually use 2 phones. but it became so troublesome that eventually i kept it at home, inside a red cashbox - which was later thrown away due to the faulty lock. I'd recall that i did relocate the phone somewhere else, like my specs box.. but just couldn't find it during one of the holidays.

i guess it's probably more than 1.5 years. Then, i had tried to search frantically for it, ransacking every corner of my room, wardrobe and cardboards. silly me never ever thought that i might have lend it away.

Today, just saw an identical nokia 3100 my brother is holding to - which reminds me of my long long lost phone. Instincts tell me to probe further. I click click, went to the Image Gallery, and saw "Keai de pic". Now, tell me, who the hell will put "Keai de pic" as a label. If i set up a poll with all the choices, i guess by the end of the day i will be the dominant figure and win. When i uttered a "AHHH", my brother told me this is the phone i've lent him before(well that time he wanted to try the phone for awhile).

duhh!!! then my bro told me that my sis lent him de, and because there is a lot of my sister's friend name in the phone (the reminders), i guess my sis' friend had been having the phone for all time i've been searching.

I msged my sis on msn, and "enquired" if that phone belongs to me. Yes! that's my phone! And i asked further if she had my permission to lend it to her friend... well, she said YES! suspicious at first because i will never be willing to lend her stuffs because i usually never get back on time.. but.. i can faintly remember something like that actually happened. lol, i recalled, vaguely and in every ways i can, that she mentioned her friend had to go abroad with a roaming phone. But he had just purchased or traded-in for a new super expensive PDA, and therefore will be dangerous to bring such a nice phone to a foreign country.

Silly me! lent it away and didn't have any recollection of the matter. No wonder, all this while that im searching for it, i've been thinking, why all the possible places dun have?! and it's like confirm it's inside here or here... but nv to be found then..

Well, experienced some kind of mixed feeling at first, but kinda feel super duper relief in the end after knowing no one is at fault. it's just my bad memory. i don't mind lending my brother the phone, because my ultimate objective, as an utilitarian (=X) is to put the phone into good use. That's the reason why i have been searching for it, i wanted to exchange my phone with my dear's because although identical phones, my dear's phone couldnt receive MMS. Nevertheless, since my brother had his previous phone lost, it would be ideal for him to use my white phone [although i seriously think that it will be super dirtied, plus a lot of things spoil by the time i get the phone back, or never].

=/ care lesser now, just super relief its still within my reach lol! (i think i have the power to take back the phone anytime right? =p) anyway, my phone is getting faulty and i might get back my nokia phone one day (if my brother purchased another one for himself).

anyway, i'm thinking about purchasing the tealight lantern and the ice "cute" trays in the picture above from ikea.

the tealight lantern seems to be great for a BBQ night for my birthday chalet..

isnt it fun to have stars-shaped cubes for our drinks, imagine how special my chalet will be with all my quirky ideas..

1. minute xmas tree in the previous post (i will be bringing it to the chalet and that will be amongst (and buried in) the xmas exchange gifts lol!

2. Keai models, mimicking a character (identity will be top secret!!!)

woohoo.. cut my hair today..

the stylist is brillant! She know that..

1. I drop a lot of hair.. for a long time already.. i think its since secondary.. i have been dropping a lot of hair.. tats y a lot of "antenna" on my scalp, lots of baby hair :P

2. I got coloured hair before although no more color now :X

3. I got very dry hair ends..

4. i got narrow forehead, so she recommend the other side of my parting to cut short also... so when i tied hair will look good.. it really look better with the other side of the fringe cut..

having know Point no. 1 is observant ler.. she even point to be the parts where they are prone to hair drops.. she recommended me to change shampoo to some milder ones.. probably those that were made for ppl with hair loss problems

Argh! i have been having hair loss problems for quite long actually, not that i'm fear of anything, but then.. imagine everyday the floor is full of hair despite the floor being vacuumed Sobs!

anyway, probably i'll changed my shampoo.. byebye mint smell :(

anyway, post pics tmr! cause im probably gonna take lots of pictures at Ant's birthday! and i hardly use my camera.. i dun want to let my camera thinks tht my sister is its owner :D

watched Final fantasy VII: Advent Children yesterday midnight!

Despite enjoying the movie (very good graphics, pretty tifa, cool cloud..), I'm rather lost cause i'd only played on gameboy before, i dun even know wat version it is... wait, isnt cloud strife v cute in gameboy version? does he even appear in gameboy before? ~__~ my my.. im so confused.. i have very little knowledge of the storyline >.<

Alrighty, figured it was in May when i last update my anime list which you can find in my link section - which incidentally was also the time when i'd done uploading the website.

Hmm, i dunno if the website will be useful for any of you, blogders, who are interested in downloading and watching jap anime. I've updated the anime page together with reviews and ratings on completed anime "projects". well, actually, i'll only be writing brief reviews and ratings after i've finished watching a particular series. In particular, for this update, i have done with the reviews and ratings for - Mahou Sensei Negima, and Beck. I've also added a new series i'm currently watching - Suzuka. Being rather absorbed in Suzuka lately, the plot is somehow similar to Love Hina.

Anyway, I remember i once play the flash game for Love Hina. It's a game on courting those female characters in the manga - Shinobu, Narusegawa, and others pretty girls. Ah, in fact, i really enjoy silly games like this in courting girls... note! GIRLS.

Diverting again, I really like playing Harvest Moon. A farming game which you will play as a farm boy work hard to make it successful day in and out, with some romance elements - courting girls! Well, there's actually a female version of the game! Harvest Moon: For Girl. We can play as a girl, and girl woos guy! how cool is that? But quite bad, it cant be played in PC, i think it's built for playstation.

A macho guy carrying a pretty lass (who struggles badly to be put down) and runs down an escalator from the topmost storey of a famous shopping mall.

The next scene you see, is the macho guy finally acknowleges her unwillingness to be carried further in public.

The screen zooms out as the macho guy let down the pretty lass. And you find that, there is no escalator around that goes up.. because..

they are simply back in the topmost storey after going down an escalator!

What a loophole in the 9th episode of Portrait of home II Singapore's local drama!

Its not like i am very particular about loopholes (unless horribly amt like that of spiderman, but i didnt watch anyway :P), but because i am quite familar with the environment of the shot [at Jurong Point] as i used to study near there.

Speaking of my school, I used to study at Jurong JC. The best air-conditioned jc in Singapore. The reason for the privilege of the air-con while other JCs sweat in their airconless classrooms is that we are near the army flight base - which sometimes make super loud and annoying sound - and so we are supposed to be compensated in exchange for a noiser environment, plus air con rooms are more sound proof.

had a small talk with my friends about the change in our school after we left for uni. We felt so deprived from the facilities that were built right after we left - things like revamped canteen, ice cream shop, student lounge, cafe, and many other unknown stuffs. Neverthless, my JC life was quite fruitful without the 5-star facilities. Well, at least i managed to enjoy the air-con rooms :D

Diverting again, i just finished writing my lab report, thats why i'm blogging. Having done the lab report is such a relief because I'm lacking sleep lately.. wanted to go into Maplesea for a short break tho' but not sure if that will cause a further deprivation of sleep.

Ahh! black eyes rings!

I've bought Andrea Eye Q's undereye circle treatment, which cause quite a sum of 20 SGD. Hopefully, the black eyes rings are not mostly due to heritary factors, if not, what a waste!

Anyway, i think i should stop blogging for now, if not, it will get boring..

haven really do a proper updates lately..

Well, mainly because of my writing style, i don't really like to go on talk about my boring life and bored anyone who visits my blog.. maybe i shall blog on interesting life encounters, or extremely stressed/ relief incidents..

Today, just let out a sign of relief after completing my changing landscapes module project. Its been very difficult to write because of the word limitations, and our vast content.

Our project is about presenting how iconic buildings (like asian civilization museum) near Singapore River, fuse together to make Singapore River symbolic. also, changing roles of buildings like asian civilization museum (from court house, to immigration hall, to pte exhibition, to the current public exhibition hall) sort of mirror Singapore's growth. And how these history actually also creates a sense of identity to Singaporeans.

i wun want to go into details about the content tho', enough of it.. although i feel its quite an interesting project.

Anyway, for now, i will be taking a short rest before i go into touching up my personal essay for another module - genes and society. The rough content is there already, just nid to squeeze in some more content to make my arguments fuller. Perhaps, the lab report i will have to push it to the weekends to do.

Other than projects, i couldnt really think of any other impt issues that i have to attend to.

Wanted very much to watch some anime, but felt its really distracting.. considering the amt of assignments i have to hand in soon..

well.. many next time, i shall interest all of u with photos-accompanied blog content. * better pray i wun take pics of my projects to blog LOL*

i have no idea, but it seems that my blog doesn't show the languages in the appropriate formats.

I previewed my previous posts on 日本語 lessons, and all the previously working unicodes suddenly became alien language. Also, i realised the shark fin post earlier last week, had the same problem with unicode. I wonder if it's caused by firefox.

anyway let see if this work if i keyed the blog entry using IE.
