I spent a great deal of time making the DVD. I put in 4 slide shows set to music and several video clips of the kids. For anyone who has tried to do this, it takes crafting - setting the pictures to music, ordering the pictures, selecting the correct music and duration for pictures - making the menus correct and so.

I was so impressed that I thought I would post this here. Both my wife and I are extremely impressed and this just helps our loyalty to Apple for computing needs.
I would add that it probably does help immensely that I approached the problem with humor and humility. I'd like to think so.

Over the years I've been mostly lucky. In 20 years of owning a personal computer, I've only had one bad crash and still never lost data from a hard drive crash. But I have had program crashes and other events that caused data loss.
