Well built, but could fold better
Bought this to keep from straining my back carrying my 60 plus lb Folbot Greenland to and from the water and my truck.

As I keep the Folbot assembled most of the time, the side benefit of being able to move it in and out of my garage is great. It will stow in the front seat area of my kayak, but my springer spaniel is not excited about sharing her space. Also, the strap retaining system, as another reviewer pointed out, could use some more thought and better "locating" hardware.

As my favorite campground on a bluff overlooking Lake Superior has a trail, of sorts, that goes down to the rocky shoreline, 300 feet below, the large wheels are needed and work very well. Hauling it back up the steep incline solo would have been unthinkable before I bought this, but is now achievable, which makes this a great investment for my terrain.

In summary, it does the job very well with bigger and heavier boats, but taking it along with you on a voyage looks to be a challenge unless you are willing to surrender a fair amount of space. If the cart's boat support bed could be made in two pieces that would telescope and ball snap together, like a salmon landing net, this could more easily stow under decks.

Used in the back woods of Maine
We went on a fishing trip to a remote lake, with our kayaks, in northern Maine. They went over the rough terrain with no problem. I would highly recommend!

Great design, easy to use
I highly recommend this canoe carrier. My only issue with it is the tire stems being at an angle that made inflation impossible, but the company replaced them shortly after I e-mailed them about the problem.

Air pump
Works OK but the attachments don't stay on, you have to try and hold them on and at the same time hold them in the air hole of the item you are blowing up. Not an easy task and I speak from experience.

Air Pump
This pump really works fast. It was worth every penny. We use it for the sleeping matress and the pool.The fitting fit just like they're made for very little air excapes while you are filling it up.

Loud!! Ear Piercing!! Ouch!!!
We chased all the kids away as soon as we turned on this pump. Our ears were literally vibrating so we just gave up. Plus, the narrow hose meant for blowing up small pools, beach balls, jumpers, does not work. We have to queeze the neck of our inflatable toy's nozzle to blow in the air (this prevents air from coming out after you've nusted your lungs blowing it in) but the the narrowest hose on the air pump has a hook on it which plugs the opening that the squeezing creates. We blew up our inflatables by mouth- less traumatic for everyone.

Excelent Hat

Great hat for a trip in the rain forest
I chose this hat because of a trip I was taking to Kauai. I was taking a tour ziplining through the rain forest and was not going to be able to worry about a hat that would not dtay on. Of couse when I was zipping I was wearing a helmet, but when we walking through thee rain forest I was wearing this hat that has a back flap to protect my neck from the sun and mosquitos. It also comes with a safety cord so if it were to fly off I could have it safely attached so I would not have to go after it. It is also adjustable so I could share it with my children if I felt they were getting too much sun.

Good but not perfect
Pros- tough, good coverage, protects my kayak well from UV light (and so far, from the neighborhood chipmunks)

Cons- Leaks a little, so there's a tendency to have a little water inside it. Color fades somewhat.

Bottom line- this cover will do a good job of protecting your canoe or kayak from UV, bangs and scratches, and from filling up with rainwater. But, it will not completely protect your boat from the elements.

It's a good size. I haven't fully tested it, but I wondered about the "Crush Proof" claims so we drove a Chevy Lumina over it. Case and contents (various survival stuff including a lensatic compass) were undamaged. Pretty impressive.

Nothing tops Pelican for hand-held electronics safety!
For the price, you can not honestly find a better case for your hand-held equipment. After many years using these cases in the military, I can attest -- first hand -- that these cases are durable. I've actually seen one fall out the back of a landing aircraft and survive the impact (including the contents inside). After that, I was sold.

I've got one of these for my GPS, my digital camera (Pelican 1010), even my camcorder (Pelican 1050). I love the idea that I can throw it in a backpack and don't need to worry about it getting crushed or wet. The bottom line: It's a great case, and I have no reservations recommending it.

Good looking, good protection.
I got this case for my PDA(Sharp Zaurus), and I love it so much. It has a dense plastic shell with an automatic air pressure control vent. The rubber interior is real nice and help protect what's inside from water. The latch is also made of the same grade plastic as shells and latches tight. This 1020 is a little bigger than what you call "palmtop", and is just about right size to carry around. It is kinda heavy, though, I like the heaviness too(heavy=dense=safe). For the money, this case is a best buy. Looks cool too!!

This kayak pad is the ticket
I purchased an Ocean Kayak that came with a rather thin seat. After dealing with hours of discomfort, I decided to purchase the Skwoosh seat pad to install under the original OK seat. What a difference! This pad totally solved the problem. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome rash guard
I bought this rash guard for a recent surf trip. It was perfect. I really liked the long short sleeves (they covered half my upper arm), the 50 SPF built into the fabric, the fabric thickness, and the tie down. I'd buy another.

Broke During First Use
I had low expectations when I first bought these oars, but I expected them to last longer than what they did. I took a casual trip around a local lake and the connecting piece on one of the oars cracked within the first twenty minutes. These were basically a complete waste of money since now I must buy a more expensive pair on top of this one to replace that one. Cheap price but very cheap quality also.

You Get What You Pay For
When you put them together ensure as much of the thread on the rod end as possible is in the fastner or it will brake more easily. The oars are very small and make it difficult to propel or steer larger rafts. Price may be worth the work.

Prone to snapping
I used these in combination with my coleman raft. After 3 trips out the plastic part in the center that hold the top half and the bottom half together snapped.

I guess you can't expect too much for $8

This rash guard is small like other reviewers have said. I especially found the neck to be tight and difficult to get over my head. I usually wear a size 2-4 and the small is on the tight side for me.

Nice rashguard. Just be sure to order larger than normal size. xtra large fits like a regular medium.

CAUTION they do run rather small
This is a great rash guard but like the other reviewer said they do run small. I usually wear a large (size 10-12) and got the X-large because of the other review and it fits like a "body" glove. lol. One feature they don't mention is that there is another logo on the back that runs along the right seam at an angle. It's a nice touch. Can't wait to try it out in maui!

terrific
I am very pleased with this product. First I got it quickly and it was very safely packed. But most important it worked exactly as it should. I placed the tip of the siphon cylinder in the patio fountain that needed draining, anchored the open end of the plastic tube below the bottom of the fountain with a brick, and pulled the handle all the way to the top. The water started to drain immediately.

There was a bit of air in the flow, easily seen through the clear tube, so I pumped down then back up all the way and the water filled the tube completely. I then set the siphon carefully down and walked away. Thirty-something minutes later the fountain only had a quarter-inch of water left. I'm very pleased. I won't use this more than every month or two, but the siphon seems reasonably sturdy and I believe it will last me for years.

Works well for small volumes
I wouldn't use it for pumping out a whole boat but it works well for small amounts. It's also a good transfer pump.

worth the money
I have had to use this pump a couple of times when the gas cans were empty and I didn't want to drive 10 miles to get gasoline just to finish the lawn. It is simple to use and works great

Stormglass
I purchased this stormglass as a gift for my husband, a real weather buff. He absolutely loved it. It is so interesting to watch the crystals form and interpret it from the chart that came with the instrument, In fact we framed the chart so other people can interpret the crystal formation also. It is a beautiful instrument and good conversational piece.

Don't waste your money.
I've seen this cart used on the beach and thought it was a great idea. But it is overpriced, flimsy and breaks easily. Both front wheels broke when assembling, following the directions. The attachments are poorly made. One of the back wheels kept slipping from the locked position to unlocked, making the structure flimsy. But it was still usable without the front wheels as it can't roll away and it folds easily. If it was better made I would recommend it, as it could be very helpful. As it is now, don't waste your money for a one time use.

The right tool for the job
We bought this about a year ago when our kids were old enough to go to a real beach. Of course, we had a ton of stuff to haul (chairs, blankets, cooler, food clothing, toys)and often had to walk a ways to find a good spot. This beast has taken everything we've thrown at it without a hiccup. No broken parts, no tipping over on uneven terrain, no bogging down in soft sand. By me, it's well-designed and well made. It folds down nicely for transport which is helpful, too. We're going into our second summer with it and I don't expect any problems at all.

Work Horse...
A good friend insisted that we borrow her Wonder Wheeler to take on our family vacation to the beach. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 babies)so needless to say we had a ton of gear to haul. We were able to fit everything we needed on the cart including a decent size cooler. I'm not quite sure what we would have done without it! As soon as we got home from vacation, I ordered one for us to have for our next vacation. Terrific product!
