While we are in full swing of summer around here I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for BlogHer!! I am so excited about being gone for almost week but I also will miss my kids like crazy!!! Not only will they both be in ballet the week I am gone, but they both start swim lessons! I will miss both of their first weeks, but hey at least I'll be there the second week.

Speaking of water..... Don't you love these pictures Tanya took of the girls while she was here visiting?

I am jealous and want a Nikon Camera so bad!!!

anyways, I have tons more pictures of the girls from Disneyland to the lake. Tanya took some awesome pictures of them.

Summertime Nail Lacquer Supports Worthy Cause

Look Good…Feel Better, a national public service program that helps women cope with appearance-related changes from cancer treatment, and OPI, the world leader in professional nail care, are both celebrating their 20th anniversaries this year. OPI launched its nail lacquers 20 years ago, the same year Look Good...Feel Better conducted its first workshop. To celebrate, the two organizations are launching a new summer promotion that truly makes a difference.

During July and August, OPI will contribute a portion of the proceeds of every bottle of its top-selling Bubble Bath Nail Lacquer sold, with a minimum contribution of $25,000, to Look Good…Feel Better.

I am home and exhausted!

I got home late last night from the Sears Design Summit and I am so very tired! My flight left from Chicago at 6:45 last night and got into San Fransisco at 10PM, and then landed in Ontario at midnight. An hour ride home and I crawled up my stairs around 2 am.

OHHH and get this the AIRPORT LOST MY LUGGAGE!!!!!

I was woken up at 9AM to my mother in law calling telling me to get to her house to help clean and get ready for the big party on Saturday. So I just got home at 9pm from being at her house all day, and then tomorrow I go back to clean the house and do more decorating.

I can't wait for Saturday.... party day woot!!

Next Wednesday I leave to Palm Springs until Sunday and then the following Tuesday leave for Sara Lee and BlogHer! YAY!!!

Just landed in Denver.. waiting to leave for Chicago

We my plane landed about 20 minutes ago in Denver. I am sitting here in the airport waiting for my plane to board to Chicago. Then it's about a 2 hour flight.

Man I am wiped out! I finally got myself to fall asleep around 1:30 or maybe it was 2am to wake up at 4am for my limo to get me at 5am (which he was early BTW and called my house while I was standing in front of the car)

anyways, so the flight to Denver was good. I got a aisle seat. The guy next to me was nice. But mad United's flight attendants need to perk up! When she asked me if I wanted something to drink I asked for coffee (I needed some caffeine) and then she just pushed the cup in my face. I said thank you and she ignored me...

and to top it all off the girl sitting two seats over by the window was considered "unaccompanied minor" and got free snacks! So she got chocolate and didn't even offer me any! The nerve, everyone knows how much I love chocolate. LOL!

and to top it off I am starving and three teenage boys are sitting right in front of me scarfing down McDonalds.......

I am just playing around. I am having a nice time by myself and can't wait to get to Chicago and get to my room.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

Well I will be getting up at 4:00 am and my Limo picks me up at 5:15am tomorrow. I am just trying to tie up some posts, finish off some emails and finish packing! I am so excited for tomorrow. Two days with no kids..... ahhh....

I just pray I don't have to sit next to stinky people on the plane!

But once I get to Chicago I get to share a ride from the airport to the hotel with Christine! I haven't seen her since Disneyland at Christmas.

Tanya and I are sharing a room LOL.... oh were ready to have a fun night!

I am ready to learn about all the new stuff, see how SHC approaches quality development of products that are affordable, beautiful and trend setting. All in time for Back to School!

AT&T CL82209 cordless phone system Giveaway

For the past few years I have been wanting to get a new phone! I needed a phone that I could use on speaker phone, that can hold all my contacts for the many companies I chat with each day. And a phone that will... work!

The first thing I noticed about the AT&T CL82209 cordless phone system is the price! Finally a cordless phone with answering machine, and a second cordless phone at a reasonable price! For under 60 dollars this truly is a wonderful deal!

As soon as my phone system arrived I hooked it up! In under 5 minutes I had both phones ready to go. I decided to transfer my contacts and phone numbers over to the new phone first before unplugging the old phone.

What I found is that the phone is very easy to navigate around. It was extremely easy to add and edit contacts, even deleting them was easy.

I decided to take the phone to the test and see just how far I could go with it, and I was rather surprised that not only does the phone get reception 5+ houses down my street but the line was perfectly clear!
