Bill O'Reilly Bashes Nas

The simpering idiot that is Bill O'Reilly has jumped on the "let's bash Nas" bandwagon. On his show, The O'Reilly Factor, he proceeds to show video clips of Nas' songs "Shoot 'Em Up," "Got Yourself A Gun," "Ether," and "Thief's Theme." He conveniently ignors the fact that the gun references in some of these songs were METAPHORS, and that Nas' catalog of music as a whole does not glorify violence, but actually condemns it. When hip-hop journalist, Bakari Kitwana tried to defend Nas' music and give examples of positive songs, O'Reilly starts screaming and talking over him about Nas having a prior gun conviction. Mr. O'Reilly do you support gun control or are you a card-carrying member of NRA? How ironic - a white man with a gun complaining about a black man with a gun.

There's nothing more ridiculous than someone having an opinion on something they know NOTHING about. Mr. O'Reilly has the nerve to label Nas as a "ganster" rapper, when he can't even pronounce his name correctly. I'm sure Mr. O'Reilly has followed Nas' career closely enough to be able to speak authoritatively on what he is or isn't. All this from a pill-popping, sexual deviant. What the fug ever!

50 Cent Still Taking Shots At Lil Wayne

50's at it again and he's upped the ante by taking shots at Lil Wayne on wax. The song isn't about Weezy. It's actually another cheesy love song with this fool singing to the ladies (didn't he crucify Ja Rule for the exact same thing?). However, he doesn't pass up an opportunity to say some greasy sh*t 42 seconds into the song about Lil Wayne and Baby.

"You make me want to kiss you like Baby kiss Wayne. And make you call me 'Daddy' like Baby do Wayne. Damn that sh*t sound so gay, its insane."

He's starting to look a little desperate. Wayne didn't respond the last time, so I guess Fiddy's gonna keep going at him until he does. Weezy should do him like Jay-Z did Cam - ignore his simple ass and let his album flop. Listen here.

Practically every black actor/singer/rapper in Hollyhood will be in "This Christmas," which hits theatres some time around Thanksgiving. The list is so long it's easier to name who isn't in it: Gabriel Union and Queen Latifah. Here are some stills from the movie:

Foxy Brown Ditches Def Jam, Gets Arrested AGAIN

It's been a good news/bad news week for Foxy Brown.

The good news is on August 8, she signed a distribution deal with Koch Records for her new indy label according to the following press released:

Foxy Brown leaves Def Jam to start an independent label which
will be distributed through Koch Records. Last Wednesday night, August 8, Foxy Brown closed a deal with Koch Records which makes her the first female star MC to have an independent label at Koch.... The first single from Brooklyn's Don Diva will hit radio within the next few weeks, and the album is scheduled for a December release. Foxy went on to say, "I have two albums of music recorded, and my fans have waited long enough, I'm back b%ches!!!

The bad news is she got arrested for fighting... again. On July 30, she beat her neighbor down with a Blackberry. The neighbor supposedly suffered a black eye, swollen lip and almost lost her teeth. How do you ALMOST lose teeth? But anyway... the Foxy turned herself in Tuesday, and was released on $5,000 bail. She's due back in court on September 26. She must have like 14 open cases! She needs to calm down. Source.

Al Sharpton Responds to David Banner

David Banner (government name, Levell Crump) recently went off on Al Sharpton saying the "permed-out pimp" could "suck [his] d*ck," among other things. Rev. Al - never one to mince words - fired back through a spokesman:

"From time to time we do encounter people that have sexual fantasies about Reverend Al Sharpton, but they are always women and Crump’s proposition is a first. However, in keeping with the National Action Network’s Decency Initiative, I am sure Rev. Sharpton would not call Crump the “N” “B” or “H” word. And, despite Crump’s personal request, I am sure Reverend Sharpton would not call him a f-g--t. He would just pray for him. We at NAN are pro civil rights for everyone, even Levell Crump who has not had a banner year since his debut album in 2003."

Mike Vick Suspension Likely

Most likely Michael Vick will be suspended for the 2007 season. It's expected that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will make the official announcement either this week or next. Michael was already told not to report to training camp after the federal indictment for his alleged involvement in dogfighting.

Jay's broke and bitter ex-friend, Dehaven who describes himself as Jay-Z's right hand man is about to drop a tell-all book. Jay refers to him on the songs "December 4th" and "Dead Presidents II." Dehaven claims to be responsible for the creation of Rocafella and he says he's going to "expose" Jay-Z, Dame, TyTy, Jay's mother and sisters, as well as break down the events and people in Jay's songs. He also blames Jay-Z and Dame for messing up the whole (I assume) drug game in BK. Even though this is an obvious and shameless attempt to get paid off Jay's fame, I'm still intrigued.
