Running a blog,becoming active in local republican party and dealing with aging relatives has led to stress never expected and the gray hairs it brings. The above have always provided moral support,good documents and great advice as I continue to do the "people's work" of trying to help tame the "beast of big government".
The "creep list" actually was somewhat organized but it was no conspiracy. It was more like several gangs protecting their turf. Some outlandish ideas did surface. This editor knows that 3 blogs were started by members of the "creep list" to put out fabrications about this editor's past from the 80's and 90's. One member of the "creep list" even sent a threatening email to Greg Bruce impersonating this editor and Mr.Bruce played along with this "dumb idea" by filing a false police report hoping to get Clif Burnett arrested in hopes the bribery/peddling influence scandal involving UMC officials and local republican County Commissioners would not be found if I were jailed. This editor knows better than to threaten anyone and Mr.Bruce and whoever he was involved with found out Clif Burnett is not easily distracted and has little fear of "local pigs". "Local pigs",present and former, pulled several stunts trying to derail LCR investigation into local government but cops had no "illegal activity" by this editor so they just used old fashioned harassment techniques that this editor ignored. Greg Bruce even tried to keep this editor from going to public meetings at UMC by using Dennis "former LPD pig" Kelley to threaten this editor on two occasions. Both Bruce and Kelley proved they are as "off-the-wall" as they come and as crooked as could be. Trying to intimidate people into not attending public meetings and requesting public record is totally illegal but enforcement of those laws is non-existant. Lubbock County pulled so many stunts,both legal and illegal,it would boggle readers minds. County attorneys tried "public record for profit",claimed records didn't exist and even tried to get Texas Attorney General's office to declare some records private when this editor asked to see which voter application cards were denied. County elections office illegally denied over 400 felons their right to vote after state legislature had given felons not on probation or parole their right to vote back. Dorothy Kennedy was involved in this criminal activity. Lubbock County was a "rat's nest" of illegal activity when LCR was founded and it still is. Bill McCay even claimed that this editor was defaming the "county's name" with LCR when this editor was publishing embarrassing public record exposing the county's illegal activity and lavish wasteful expenditures. Patti Jones even went as far as to lie about county debt and her lies were exposed in budget documents that were found by John Miller and Jerry Rogers and this editor published those.The sad truth is the "creep list" I've named today is full of "good christian crooked" creeps.

LCR will continue to investigate local corrupt governments like UMC,Lubbock County,Texas Tech,City of Lubbock and other taxpayer funded entities. Clowns like Greg Bruce,Dennis Kelley,Patti Jones,Bill McCay,Chris Winn,Greg Lewis just to name a few will find that "Bulldog" Burnett is their enemy and as the late Bruce Gentry,Jr. used to say,"I'm In For The Long Haul".

Patti Jones and Doyce Middlebrook worked with Mark Heinrich and Bill McCay to get county commissioners to raise both hospital and county taxrate over 30% in last 4 years. These 4 "rapists" then spent the spoils on following luxury items.

A.Jones Stadium SkyBox rented with UMC tax dollars for Jones,McCay and Heinrich campaign donors as well as high paid bureaucrats like David Allison and the McDougal family. This was a $35,000 item as well as hundreds of dollars spent on hooch and munchies tab.

B.Jones,McCay and Heinrich also spent $8,000 each of taxpayer money on vacations(seminars) as well as free gasoline for their personal cars as well as personal use. County even tried to charge for these public records in a "Public Record For Profit" scam that was struck down by Texas AG office.

C.UMC is documented to have leased 300 cellphones at a cost of $1.5 MILLION yearly for 2007 and 2008 that had employees using cellphones for personal use at taxpayers expense.

D.Jones,McCay and Heinrich are documented to have entered into interlocal agreement to assist in financing the "outer loop study" for Lubbock City Hall at an expense of $340,000 to county taxpayers. Patti Jones and Lee Ann Dumbauld even attempted to hide these public records at LMPO office but LCR was tipped to their location and served OR request to secure the hidden documents.

Lubbock Republican "Bozos" On The Prowl

As the 2010 primaries approach local republican "bozos" are now clowning around with wantabe candidates. John Steinmetz recently held a reception for soul brother Michael Williams U.S.Senate campaign. Chris Winn attended a reception for Todd Cruz Texas Attorney General campaign. This editor avoids these silly functions because the perfumy feminist republicans are as offensive as they are uneducated. Williams and Cruz are both Affirmative Action republicans trying to pander to former democrat republicans as well as the African American and Hispanic voters. If both Steinmetz and Winn continue to play local media and push their "big government" agendas this editor could easily pop-up in the republican primary as a "wildcard candidate" asking local democrats to cross over and vote republican in a "Clif Burnett Against Republican Big Government" campaign for county chair of Lubbock Republican Party. Official filing for all offices is December 2,2009 and it's still way to early to start campaigning locally. Local republican operatives are basically camerahounds that are simply put,uneducated about local government and that's the real tragedy about local political activists. Lubbock AJ also known as "Average Junk" has had reporters come and go. Such alleged talent as Russell Hill and Eric Finley worked at the AJ before getting on the "government gravy train" at LISD and UMC. The premier reporter(Chris Van Wagenen) recently jumped out of AJ cesspool and went to Houston to remove the AJ residue that swimming in a cesspool leaves on oneself. The AJ still has the largest fleet of semi-educated,"good for nuthin's" to ever be assembled by a local rag newspaper. LCR believes that one standout at AJ must be recognized as a shining example of lousy and is worthy of the LCR "Worst AJ Reporter" award. This guy was even thought to have been getting local sleazy republican county commissioner Patti Jones to be his ghost writer for county stories since he is not educated about Lubbock County period. He's referred to as "Little Logan" by local TV reporters because of his shortness in height and limited IQ. He's also a lame piano player and lamer guitar player and is not exactly physically fit. LCR awards the "Worst AJ Reporter" award to Logan Carver at Lubbock AJ.

Graham Harrell to join CFL Roughriders

REGINA, Saskatchewan - Graham Harrell is headed to the Canadian Football League. The record-setting Texas Tech quarterback signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Thursday. Harrell is the NCAA Division I career leader in touchdown passes but wasn't drafted by the NFL. His workout with the Cleveland Browns did not result in a contract. Harrell had to fight the perception that his numbers were the product of Texas Tech's offensive system and he didn't have the arm strength to succeed in the NFL. The Roughriders are already two games into their season and have three quarterbacks on their roster. Animal Shelter donor cancels $3 million donation

Health Care For The Most By The Worst

Lubbock City/County residents are currently facing a health care crisis of incompetence that could lead to preventive medicine being rationed by State of Texas. City of Lubbock is currently negotiating with State Health officials to take over the Lubbock Health Department on Texas Ave. and make that facility a state operation. State of Texas currently operates umpteen clinics at Texas Tech Medical Center and their professionalism is so lame that citizens would be left without a credible alternative to the inferior care of UMC and Tech Med Center. City of Lubbock already spends 64% of it's general revenues on police and fire protection and now city wants to cut health department funds to hire more police officers and firemen in exchange for a health department budget cut. Neither policemen or firemen are qualified to give medical care to the needy so robbing the health department to pad payrolls at police department and fire department is truly "goofy". City Council has no clue as to how to run "big government" and trading the public health for more fire and police protection is truly "blue smoke&mirrors" at it's worst. Lubbock poor could be facing lame medical care with money grubbing bureaucrats at the root of the problem sooner rather than later. That is truly bad government policy.

Health Department In Funding Snafu

Lubbock Health Department has been neglecting to bill Medicare recipients for rejected Medicare bills due to lack of minimum co-payment being satisfied. All Medicare recipients must pay the first $135 of medical care BEFORE Medicare will reimburse the clinics/doctors. Lubbock Health Department has been found to be NOT BILLING patients if Medicare rejected claim on grounds that patient had not satisfied the $135 co-payment. This means that Medicare recipients were going to Lubbock Health Department and getting free health care at expense of City of Lubbock and city bureaucrats were just taking the costs of free care out of health department budget. Anyone with Medicare card will get a bill for the first $135 bucks and most people with Medicare have means to pay that minimum. City Health Department was discovered by this editor to not be billing patients when this editor got a flu shot and told nurse that minimum wasn't paid and ask what the bill would be when Medicare declined to pay. Nurse responded,We don't bill patients,if Medicare doesn't reimburse city picks up the tab. This means many citizens with Medicare cards went to Health Department to avoid paying their $135 minimum yearly payment and local taxpayers footed the bill for Medicare "free-riders". Budget got so bloated with "free care" that Lee Ann Dumbauld has proposed to dump health department on the state. State would then bill Medicare patients like they do at Tech Medical School clinics(state entities). Free care for Medicare patients at Lubbock Health Department could be headed to "last roundup".

Illegal drug ring busted up in Hockley County

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two Hockley County Sheriff's deputies are in the Lubbock County Jail charged for their involvement in a major drug trafficking ring. ATF called Deputy Gordon Bohannon to assist in the raid Friday morning and arrested him when he got to the scene. In video exclusive to NewsChannel 11 you can see federal agents searching his patrol car. The two sheriff's deputies along with 18 others have been booked and are in jail. Board of Health meeting with no quorum

City of Lubbock Board of Health was unable to get a quorum for it's monthly meeting. Kae Hentges of Ch.11 is chairwoman and former Med School Dean Ted Hartman and former Med School Dermatology nurse Josie Alvarado are also on this board. Alvarado was one of several members absent and a quorum was not in attendance. This meeting also had a budget presentation that would have nearly a million dollar cut in Health Department budget proposed by Lee Ann Dumbauld to deal with severe drop in sales tax revenue. Patrick Aten of Lee Ann Dumbauld's staff was in attendance as well as Nancy Haney of City Health Department. This editor was there in addition to Ch.11 and Ch.34 camera crew and some "girlie" reporter from AJ. Meeting had to be adjourned at 1PM and no official business was conducted. Both Ted Hartman and Kae Hentges claimed this was first time a Board of Health meeting failed to get quorum. City Board/Commission/Committee meetings are now becoming as organized as "The Three Stooges" in "Dumb Klucks". Kae Hentges has proven that she's a typical semi-competent Ch.11 phony baloney as Board of Health chairwoman. Another total breakdown by City of Lubbock "volunteer knucklehead" board. Thx,Kae!!

Red light cams get "no go" in Abilene

Volunteering For City Commissions and Boards Is Unwise

City of Lubbock has a corrupt commission and board systems that is used by city staff and city council to use local citizens for "front groups" to funnel dumb ideas or off the wall ideas to city council. This system is as big a hoax as there is in big government. I've personal attended many of these meetings and citizens input is actually not allowed in many meetings(no public remarks) and public remarks was removed at almost every committee I attended after I addressed some of the committees trying to contribute ideas. These committees/commissions/boards are made up of friends,cronies and other groupies of city council/city staff and are nothing more than free coffee/donuts social meetings with nothing tangible to be accomplished. City actually discriminates against county residents who pay sales taxes even though city charter only prohibits county residents from serving on LP7L Board. Floyd Price AND Becky Garza have even went as far as to "blatantly lie" that city charter prohibits county residents from serving as a volunteer on these committees/boards. This editor reviewed charter and both Mr.Price and Ms.Garza were disproved in their "blatant misrepresentation". Bottom line,Don't waste your time volunteering to serve on any City of Lubbock board,commission or committee.

Chris Van Wagenen announces AJ departure

This editor is saddened to learn that Chris Van Wagenen will be leaving AJ on July 18. His business column will be difficult to replace since he is by far the best columnist on AJ staff. His predecessor,Ray Westbrook, was barely average. AJ continues to struggle with low readership,overpriced ad chart and continued cozy relationship with "big government" that prevents investigative reporting on government waste and corruption. Van Wagenen penned a classic "radio rubbish" editorial that told the ugly truth about how corporate radio is truly garbage radio.Van Wagenen will return to Houston and probably find a few old "Oilers" emblems still around even though the team is long gone.
