I used the level 3 Hostess set called "The More the Merrier" and colored just one of the cupcakes from the row for each card, then I colored it in with the new In Color markers. I couldn't decide where to stamp the greeting. I think I like it better on the right side, under the cupcake.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sl0-GhlmbzI/AAAAAAAADPQ/fXVI0Rf_Xqc/s1600-h/DSCF2061.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 277px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sl0-GhlmbzI/AAAAAAAADPQ/fXVI0Rf_Xqc/s320/DSCF2061.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358507413456973618" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sl0-JmZ4HaI/AAAAAAAADPY/uJc--3JJ0nc/s1600-h/CloseUp.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 312px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sl0-JmZ4HaI/AAAAAAAADPY/uJc--3JJ0nc/s320/CloseUp.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358507466289585570" border="0" /></a>The finished cards are 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".<span style="font-style: italic;"><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Supplies: The More the Merrier, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Rich Razzleberry marker & cardstock, Crushed Curry marker, Melon Mambo marker, Basic Black marker, Whisper White Craft ink & cardstock, 1-1/4 & 1-3/8" Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-8092619964828026039?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-65949879786437664242009-07-13T20:27:00.004-05:002009-07-13T20:43:47.462-05:00Very Thankful TurtleThrough the Making a Difference program, Stampin' Up! partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Each year, the company donates $100,000 to the organization. In addition, they design an exclusive stamp set to promote the partnership with RMHC, and donate a portion of the proceeds from the each sale of that set. To date, more than $95,000 has been donated from RMHC stamp set sales.<br /><br />This year's stamp set, called Very Thankful, is featured on the inside back cover of the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog. This versatile set of four features different style stamps that all say "thank you". It was one of the first stamp sets on my list from the new catalog.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358124576312140802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 224px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Slvh6eFgJAI/AAAAAAAADO4/w3OhqYJjk18/s320/July+9+031.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358124593948861346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 246px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Slvh7fybI6I/AAAAAAAADPA/XaO1T1-CUbM/s320/July+9+033.jpg" border="0" />The finished card is 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".<br /><br /><div><em><span style="font-size:85%;">Supplies: Very Thankful, Certainly Celery marker & cardstock, Old Olive marker & cardstock, Jet Black Staz-On Ink, Ruby Red Craft ink & marker, Whisper White cardstock, Sahara Sand marker, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Scallop Edge Punch, So Tweet Chipboard</span></em></div><div><em><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></em></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358124600681521074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Slvh743nX7I/AAAAAAAADPI/yd4ISMB3Hn0/s320/VeryThankful.JPG" border="0" /> <div><em><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></em></div><div>To place an order for these supplies or other Stampin' Up! products, visit my website at <a href="http://juliedavison.stampinup.net/">http://juliedavison.stampinup.net/</a> and "Shop Now"</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-6594987978643766424?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-26200424076161209492009-07-13T11:22:00.004-05:002009-07-13T12:18:48.534-05:00Deal of the Week #3: Rhinestone Brads<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SltsYl3el6I/AAAAAAAADOw/_n9Gmo95Qos/s1600-h/DealOfTheWeek3.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 305px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SltsYl3el6I/AAAAAAAADOw/_n9Gmo95Qos/s400/DealOfTheWeek3.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357995351424800674" border="0" /></a><div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-2620042407616120949?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-50710850598337514332009-07-12T22:36:00.005-05:002009-07-12T22:50:51.760-05:00Razzleberry Butterfly CardI debated whether or not to get the new Butterfly Punch, but ended up choosing it as part of my free hostess merchandise on a recent order. I used the new Level 1 Hostess set Holiday Best with the Cast-a-Spell DSP to create two cards for fall holidays.<br /><br />Give Thanks is a 4" x 4" card. It was my second creation, but I think I like it better than the first. The design is very clean and simple.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SllAlPPLKcI/AAAAAAAADJU/zxqXpqN1Avw/s1600-h/July+9+050.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 287px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SllAlPPLKcI/AAAAAAAADJU/zxqXpqN1Avw/s320/July+9+050.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357384240223431106" border="0" /></a>Here's the other card, it's 3-1/2" x 5-1/2". Before I cleaned up, I used some of those leftover pieces and put together a quick card. Get the most out of your stamping time and use your "leftovers" to create one more card in 10 minutes or less. Post a picture of your creation and link it to the comments section of this post.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SljV2iXzPeI/AAAAAAAADI8/IXuAONOEWi0/s1600-h/July+8+024.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 179px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SljV2iXzPeI/AAAAAAAADI8/IXuAONOEWi0/s320/July+8+024.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357266889673489890" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SljV3nqqQqI/AAAAAAAADJE/3UvoVJQQmV8/s1600-h/July+8+025.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 201px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SljV3nqqQqI/AAAAAAAADJE/3UvoVJQQmV8/s320/July+8+025.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357266908274639522" border="0" /></a>Finished card size is 3" x 6".<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: Wow Flowers, Pumpkin Pie ink & cardstock, Soft Suede ink & cardstock, Crushed Curry cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle Punches</span><span style="font-style: italic;">, Crop-a-dile, Mini Glue Dots</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-7905541131484180228?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-55018697931346744582009-07-09T20:29:00.009-05:002009-07-09T22:03:57.746-05:00Double Box #2 ToteI love finding new ways to use things. I was thrilled to see this project on Patty Bennett's blog a few months ago. <span style="font-style: italic;">(I can't find the original post now; I'll add a link to it later when I do find it.)</span> She put two Box #2 back to back and then punched a handle. Here's another card I made at Mom's with her Circle Circus set. It's one of the only sets I didn't pre-order, but now I am wishing I had! This card is 3" x 4-1/4" -- I was just using up a scrap of the Bermuda Bay that was on the table. It should fit in one of the notecard envelopes.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlPAe4rNw-I/AAAAAAAADHE/-ilEF5w4Sf8/s1600-h/DSCF2080.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 247px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlPAe4rNw-I/AAAAAAAADHE/-ilEF5w4Sf8/s320/DSCF2080.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355836018715902946" border="0" /></a><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: Circle Circus, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Bermuda Bay ink & cardstock, Rich Razzleberry ink/marker & cardstock, Melon Mambo ink & cardstock, Crushed Curry ink/marker & cardstock, Whisper White Craft ink & cardstock, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Pewter Build-a-Brad, Stampin' Dimensionals</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-5459525930894048477?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-55278179151673060012009-07-07T10:34:00.009-05:002009-07-07T10:54:51.889-05:00In Color CrazeAfter playing with the new In Colors all weekend, I have decided I'm officially in love! I came up with several simple designs using the Tempting Turquoise cardstock and Whisper White Satin Ribbon for favors to resemble to iconic Tiffany's box. The one below is the Pillow Box die for the Big Shot, but I think Tara's sister is going to make the <a href="http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/2008/04/2-4-6-box.html">2-4-6 box</a> instead since it doesn't require any heavy machinery. (wink!)<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlE1u7mYSwI/AAAAAAAADFs/r5kUa1wl6cI/s1600-h/June+25+015.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 286px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlE1u7mYSwI/AAAAAAAADFs/r5kUa1wl6cI/s320/June+25+015.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355120512309152514" border="0" /></a>I designed a sample shower invitation (pictured above) using the Fun & Fast Notes and then everyone a the party got to make a different version using the same stamp set. I kept the turquoise and white ribbon to stick with the theme.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlE1wBqHhfI/AAAAAAAADF0/_d2YFXh36y0/s1600-h/June+25+019.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 263px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SlE1wBqHhfI/AAAAAAAADF0/_d2YFXh36y0/s320/June+25+019.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355120531115312626" border="0" /></a>Both the cards use the Scallop Edge Punch. Take a few minutes out of the day to remember why we are having barbecues, watching parades, and lighting up fireworks... Thank You especially to all the men and women serving our country, fighting for and protecting the freedom that we too often take for granted.<br /><br />I am enjoying this holiday weekend with my family in Michigan and yesterday, Mom and I enjoyed some stamping time! We were very productive and had fun playing with some of the new stamp sets and In Colors. I'll be sharing them with you over the next week, but first, I have a card for <a href="http://stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com/2009/06/jewelry-color-inspiration-43-giveaway.html">Stacey's Jewelry Color Inspiration #43</a>.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sk-cyixztEI/AAAAAAAADE8/Ph_CJa_mwkM/s1600-h/DSCF2050.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 262px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sk-cyixztEI/AAAAAAAADE8/Ph_CJa_mwkM/s320/DSCF2050.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354670874109916226" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sk-ej94BsfI/AAAAAAAADFk/oaXbbtu0m-Q/s1600-h/JCI43.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 160px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Sk-ej94BsfI/AAAAAAAADFk/oaXbbtu0m-Q/s200/JCI43.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354672822708974066" border="0" /></a>I just got this new Friends 24-7 card, I just had to use it straight away! I love the new Level 3 Kind & Caring Thoughts stamp set and was so excited to be able to get it early. It includes several silhouette flowers and a great variety of greetings. I used it last week to make up some quick Sympathy cards. Wouldn't that be the best job, to be a game show cost who gives away cash and prizes every day!?<br /><br />Today, I am thrilled to pick three lucky winners for the <a href="http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/2009/06/150k-blog-candy-project-kit-giveaway.html">150K Blog Candy & Project Kit Giveaway</a> that I posted last week.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkxMmzuSUYI/AAAAAAAADD4/F6WJ65YMBNg/s1600-h/June+25+082.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 176px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkxMmzuSUYI/AAAAAAAADD4/F6WJ65YMBNg/s200/June+25+082.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353738286639763842" border="0" /></a>First, for the blog candy, I used Random.org to select a winner from the comments that were left on the post. It's been almost an entire week since I have stamped and I'm going through withdrawal! I'm getting ready to visit my family in Michigan (we leave tomorrow) and stamping with Mom is high on the agenda! [Did I mention that she also earned the Southern Caribbean cruise (her first incentive trip!)!? I'm so excited that we will be cruising together!]<br /><br />I hope to have lots more new catalog projects to share with you after we stamp this weekend, but until then, here's a card I made up for our last group swap. I used the new stamp set On a Pedestal, which was given out to demonstrators as an incentive after regional seminars this past year. And of course I used some of the new In Colors: Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, and Soft Suede. I love this clean and simple design. It would work great in other colors, too!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skw5lQ5PGqI/AAAAAAAADDw/vQd9b-lyBBk/s1600-h/June+25+002.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 249px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skw5lQ5PGqI/AAAAAAAADDw/vQd9b-lyBBk/s320/June+25+002.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353717369389652642" border="0" /></a><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: On a Pedestal, Crushed Curry marker & cardstock, Bermuda Bay ink/marker & cardstock, Soft Suede ink & cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-7963337404245191446?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-63074515200730132262009-07-01T14:05:00.009-05:002009-07-02T01:10:45.573-05:00New In Colors Bundle: Only $39.95!I love, love, love the new In Colors! I am doing the happy dance tonight! Thanks to all of my customers and downline for helping me earn this trip; I couldn't have done it without your support and inspiration! I think the sentiment on this card perfectly expresses what I am feeling tonight: "For all you do, for all you are, for all you mean to me...thank you"<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkrjXBV-e0I/AAAAAAAADCY/axm7mS1hsEs/s1600-h/June+25+006.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 259px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkrjXBV-e0I/AAAAAAAADCY/axm7mS1hsEs/s320/June+25+006.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353341091720362818" border="0" /></a>This stamp set, "For All You Do" is available in the brand new catalog, which starts tomorrow. Check back tomorrow for a link and start shopping in my online store at Noon (Mountain Time). Email me for information on how you can get your own copy of the new catalog for free!<br /><br />Do you recognize the two new In Colors on this card? Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry seem to be popular choices in my informal color poll. I don't know if I can pick a favorite...they are all so pretty and go well together in various combinations.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"> <span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: For All You Do, Melon Mambo ink & cardstock, Crushed Curry ink & cardstock, Soft Suede, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, 1-3/4" Circle Punch</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-9056628383347428763?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-76098740552142682862009-06-29T15:39:00.003-05:002009-06-29T15:53:51.595-05:00Stamping Relay RacePart of our "So You Think You Can Stamp" festivities included a stamping relay race! Everyone sat at the table with three people on each side and each person had to do one step of the card. The first person used a border punch and glued Designer Paper to cardstock, the second person tied on a ribbon and glued the card front to the card, and the last person stamped, punched, and Stampin' Dimensional'ed the greeting to the card. I was so busy cheering everyone on that I forgot to take pictures of the relay race! Here is a picture of the cards. Each side of the table did one of the cards. The cards were basically the same, so everything was fair and equal!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skkpp4uSh1I/AAAAAAAADCQ/5IF8GGLa0mQ/s1600-h/June+25+089.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skkpp4uSh1I/AAAAAAAADCQ/5IF8GGLa0mQ/s320/June+25+089.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352855431684458322" border="0" /></a><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: Curly Label Bundle, Say It With Scallops, Cameo Coral ink & cardstock, Rose Red ink & cardstock, Raspberry Tart DSP, Whisper White cardstock, Curly Label Punch, Scallop Square Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, 1/4" Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-7609874055214268286?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-846918370140137133.post-87988423120487681332009-06-28T16:38:00.004-05:002009-06-28T16:54:18.048-05:00Limited Supply Challenge: June 2009Last Thursday, I had a special stamping night with my Champaign customers. I called it "So You Think You Can Stamp" Night (I have to credit Emily Shelton for the clever name!) It was a customer appreciation event to thank everyone for a great year. We had a similar party after Stamp Club in Springfield two weeks ago. Both nights were so much fun! I enjoyed giving away free prizes and playing some stamping and color games. This year, I did a stamping challenge. I set out very limited supplies and each stamper created a card using only the supplies on the table.<br /><br />These stamping supplies included: Flowers in Silhouette stamp, Sincere Salutations, Baja Breeze ink pad, Basic Gray ink pad, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, and one of each of the following: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Whisper White cardstock, 5" x 3" Baja Breeze cardstock, 5-3/8" x 2-5/8" Walk in the Park DSP, and 2" x 4" Whisper White cardstock. Each person was allowed to cut, tear, or omit any of the cardstock and paper, but could use no more than one of each piece.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skfllx6S4bI/AAAAAAAADCI/0gVFIqdakBo/s1600-h/June+25+072.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 301px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/Skfllx6S4bI/AAAAAAAADCI/0gVFIqdakBo/s320/June+25+072.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352499119368888754" border="0" /></a>I was amazed at how different all the cards were! Click <a href="http://juliedavison.com/Challenges/LimitedSupply/2009June.html">here</a> to see their creations.<br /><br />Before I put everything away on Thursday night, I sat down and made my own card. I cut off the front edge of the card and adhered the DSP to the inside. I used another piece of the DSP for the stamped greeting on the front.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkflkpJgDbI/AAAAAAAADCA/4cQKA2wpVyM/s1600-h/June+25+073.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 254px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkflkpJgDbI/AAAAAAAADCA/4cQKA2wpVyM/s320/June+25+073.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352499099836878258" border="0" /></a>Wanna play along? I made him a card that we did for a make and take at my "So You Think You Can Stamp" night on Thursday. (More on that fun Customer Appreciation Night later.) I used mini labels and contact paper to create this faux window with the classic Lovely as a Tree stamp set.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkY7SW2Az7I/AAAAAAAADBg/6hWcmfuUlw0/s1600-h/June+27+002.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 251px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkY7SW2Az7I/AAAAAAAADBg/6hWcmfuUlw0/s320/June+27+002.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352030393732222898" border="0" /></a>Here's how to make the faux window:<ol><li><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgkRXGIEI/AAAAAAAADAM/D9rRdQWZWbg/s1600-h/Step+1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 177px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgkRXGIEI/AAAAAAAADAM/D9rRdQWZWbg/s200/Step+1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352001014684065858" border="0" /></a>Cut mini labels down to fit your image. Stamp image on label sheet. Color as desired.</li><li><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgmC62FgI/AAAAAAAADAU/fVt3oq1FDco/s1600-h/Step+2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 185px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgmC62FgI/AAAAAAAADAU/fVt3oq1FDco/s200/Step+2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352001045167216130" border="0" /></a>Sponge white space with color. I used Bordering Blue for the sky and Mellow Moss for the grass.</li><li><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgnICO7bI/AAAAAAAADAc/l7PI4UnUEU4/s1600-h/Step+3.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 184px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkYgnICO7bI/AAAAAAAADAc/l7PI4UnUEU4/s200/Step+3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352001063720250802" border="0" /></a>Cut a piece of clear contact paper to be slightly larger than the stamped label sheet. But unfortunately, the Kit Kat did not survive even until the photo shoot! I tried; I really really did. But I got desperate and there was no other chocolate in the house. And I was so careful to preserve the wrapper so I could make it look like there was a Kit Kat in this little purse. You can't tell, can you!?<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_Wvp59CI/AAAAAAAAC9g/ew-8_7uDO4k/s1600-h/June+25+008.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 186px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_Wvp59CI/AAAAAAAAC9g/ew-8_7uDO4k/s320/June+25+008.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351471917204894754" border="0" /></a>We made this cute little candy box in Stamp Club this month. The base is a piece of textured Chocolate Chip cardstock: cut to 4" x 9-3/4" and scored at 2-7/8", 3-1/4", 6-1/8", 6-1/2", 9-3/8".<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_VXjNy2I/AAAAAAAAC9Y/394fMuehpl4/s1600-h/June+25+011.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 246px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_VXjNy2I/AAAAAAAAC9Y/394fMuehpl4/s320/June+25+011.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351471893554514786" border="0" /></a>I cut a 4" Circle from the Good Morning Sunshine DSP using the Circle Scissor Plus and adhered it to the Chocolate Chip purse. Instead of tying the ribbon, I adhered the 6" piece with two brads. After I put the brads in (using paper piercer from Crafter's Toolkit), I used Sticky Strip to adhere the inside flap, creating the sleeve for the Kit Kat.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_UaQwNYI/AAAAAAAAC9Q/1UU8aSxPC7Y/s1600-h/June+25+012.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 282px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OBT_Iha6yfk/SkQ_UaQwNYI/AAAAAAAAC9Q/1UU8aSxPC7Y/s320/June+25+012.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351471877102515586" border="0" /></a>The flower on the front is from the So Tweet chipboard set and sponged with Ruby Red Craft ink. I punched a little 3/4" circle from Summer Sun and covered it with glitter. In my version, there is nothing to hold the flap closed, although you could easily add a little velcro if you wanted to.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies: Good Friend stamp set, Chocolate Chip ink & textured cardstock, Ruby Red Classic & Craft ink pads, Summer Sun ink & cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Good Morning Sunshine DSP, So Tweet Chipboard, 3/4" Circle Punch, Sponge Daubers, Silver Brads, Crafter's Toolkit, 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Circle Scissors Punch, Paper Cutter with Scoring Blade</span></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/846918370140137133-6448895229007568632?l=juliedavison.blogspot.com'/></div>Julie Davisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04166688427466625066julie@the-davisons.com3
