Introducing my God Parents!!!

Uncle Chen, Auntie Juliet and their friend, Auntie Joanne came to visit recently and brought lots of goodies for Ashley and I. I was really thrilled to see them and we had a great time together. Ashley and I bonded so well with Uncle Chen and Auntie Juliet and they decided that they are going to be our God Parents! How cool is that!

Here is my GodPa and GodMa!!!

We went to watch the sunset at Danshui River and I received a lot of attention from so many girls along the promenade and GodPa declared that I am a real Chick Magnet!

Time for my yearly vaccination

It's the time of the year again to have my annual health check and vaccinations up to date. I had to go to a new vet because my old one is too faraway from my current apartment.

Here is my new vet giving me a full body check.

The charts showed that my heart is beating fine.

I got a blood test too!

The vet declared that I have a clean bill of health. Yippie!!!

My Girlfriend, Lil' Pups Bernie is here again!!!

This is a really old photo, taken in Shanghai more than 2 years ago. She came to visit us in Taipei 5 months ago for just a couple of days and now she is going to be here for 20 days! Yay! We are going to have so much fun! Oh and you know what? She brought milk biscuits for me! Yums!

I hope the weather will be good so that we can go places together. Adventures with the Lil' Pups! I am so happy!!!

I can't believe how fast Ashley is growing! Her neck is getting stronger and she is able to lift up her head steadily now.

She even surprised Mommy when she turned on her tummy at 3 and a half months old!

Now she has to be closely watched because she gets into all kinds of positions in her crib.

She does not even want to sleep on her back anymore!

Just look at those baby smooth feet!

Auntie Tong Tong brought along her camera when she visited us with her family and took some very nice pics of Ashley and I. She took more than a hundred pics of us and it was so hard to decide on a favorite. I would love to post all the photos here, but you all will get an overdose, so here are a few to share:

After spending some time with us, Dad brought them to have dinner at a place called Da Lao Er ( 大老二快炒). Food was really good and everyone enjoyed the dinner.

Introducing... TOBY, nicknamed Kor Kor Butterfly because of his cute little butterfly looking ears.

Three weeks ago, Mom's birthday was spent quietly in Singapore. Our good friends, Augie and Ti dedicated a "Purple People Eater" video to her and made her laughed so hard! Thanks for making her day extra special.

Little Kimba sent a lovely birthday greeting too! Thank you so much, sweet Kimba!

When she came back to Taipei, there was a package waiting for her! I have a feeling there is something in there for me.

Ashley goes to Pixar Exhibition

Pixar Animation Studios, the creators of the amazing Disney 3D animations like "Toy Story", "Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles" are currently having a "20 years of Animation" exhibition in Taipei at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Mom decided to check it out with Ashley.

The place was packed with people even though it was a Monday. It was a very interesting exhibit where they show you the worlds, characters and stories of Pixar’s first twenty years of film-making. Photo-taking is strictly prohibited in the exhibition, so Mom only took some outside.

The regular exhibits at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum are closed on Mondays, so they took a quick stroll around the museum before heading home.

Auntie Felicia, Uncle Kian and Zoe have relocated to Hong Kong. They flew off yesterday morning.

I miss them so much already! Sob....wish I can get on the plane now and join them there. :(

Thank you so much to the sweet family for their love, care and concern during the last two years. And a million thanks for the pregnancy and motherhood tips for mommy, she is eternally grateful!

We hope to see you guys soon in Hong Kong, take good care for now and have fun eating and shopping in this new exciting place!

Hellooooooooo! We are back!!! In fact, we got back on Saturday, but we have been busy settling into our regular schedules and I have not got much internet time until now. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

And guess what? I got fat during the last two weeks and my hair has grown longer too! Ashley is growing fast too and Mom cannot carry her with one hand anymore. The baby is getting very vocal these days, so let me share this video clip of Ashley at 3 months old before I update you all on the rest of my adventures,

Hello friends, so sorry I have not been around much. Dad, Mom and Ashley are now in Singapore for Auntie Beh's wedding and I am off to boarding. They have been busy meeting relatives and preparing for the big day. As for me, I have been busy making new friends and I will be back home in about a week's time. Ashley's 2nd Month checkup

When Ashley turned two months old two weeks ago, she went for her 2nd month checkup at the hospital.

She tipped the scales at 6.1 kg/13.4 lbs. She has put on 1.1 kg/2.4 lbs since her first check up.

She is now 67 cm/26.4 in long, that's a whopping 12cm/4.7 in growth since last month!

Her head circumference measured 39 cm/15.4 in, 1.5 cm/ 0.6 in bigger than last month.

Then she got her ears and mouth checked.

Finally, she got her 2nd month vaccination and we have a video clip of it! Like last month, she wailed for 5 seconds and then she fell asleep. She is one funny gal!

Mom must have pulled a tendon or something while carrying Ashley and had been complaining about the pain on her left hand for a week, doctor said that she has what they call here the Mother's Hand (媽媽手).

She got an injection for it. Ouch!!!

And got a wrist guard to help it heal. Oh my poor mommy!

10 years ago on September 9, 1999 was a special day because it was the day my parents registered their marriage.

What made it extra special is that there are five number 9s in that date and that only come once in a blue blue moon. The number 9 in Chinese is 九 and it sounds just like 久 which means "long-lasting", so I guess they picked the date so that they will be blessed with a long-lasting marriage.

M1, the telephone company even gave out a free mobile phone to every couple who got married on that day. They also got Dad and Mom to pose for a photo with the phone and their marriage certificate.

And guess what? The photo appeared in the newspapers the very next day!

They didn't make any special plans to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Mom was tired, but Dad said that they should go out and eat something nice.

So, they decided to head on to a Bavarian restaurant which is remotely located somewhere in the mountains.

Pity it is not a dog friendly restaurant and I could not be there, but what better way to celebrate the special occasion with a new addition to the family: My Baby Sister, Ashley!

Getting Ready for The Event of The Year

The Event of The Year is coming right up! Aunty Beh is getting married next month! Aunty Beh is Dad's sister and we are all getting very excited for her! Woohoo!

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the wedding as it is held in Singapore, but if I could, I would go to the groomer's to have my hair styled and put on a bow tie for her big day.

Ashley has tons of clothes and Mommy has none. Mom is cracking her head cause she does not have anything to wear, looks like she will have to do some last minute shopping for the big day.

Many people has been asking what Ashley will be wearing...hmmm.... she just received more pretty clothes from Aunty Juliet and Aunty Joanne when they visited last week, it's really hard to decide. Maybe she will wear the dress that Dad's colleagues got for her. A Baby Dior dress!!!

Taa Daa!!! Ashley is a Dior Baby! She has so little hair, I think she needs a Dior hat to go with the dress. Oh and how about a pair of Dior shoes too? Hee hee!

Before Grandma left for Singapore, Dad, Mom and Ashley brought her out to dinner at a very nice steak house.

The restaurant was all packed on that Saturday night.

Staff were all wearing T-shirts with 48 oz. at the back. Apparently, if you are able to finish 40 oz. of beef steak, you would be eligible to take part in their 48 oz. challenge. Burp!!!

For starters, they had bread, soup and salad.

Over the Border wings - absolutely yummy, a must order at every table!!!

Grandma had the BBQ pork spare ribs.

Dad ate the Wrangler rib eye 10 oz special and

Mommy ate the Red wine pepper steak

All smiles after a good meal. They found out that the restaurant is dog-friendly too and I will be going next time. Yay!

Look what Honey the Great Dane in New Zealand sent!

An organic cottton Kimono top! It is so soft and comfy!!! It is still a little too big for her, but at the rate she is growing, she will be able to fit into it in no time.

Uncle Ken in Shanghai got Ashley a very nice gift!

Whoa! It's a Ermenegildo Zegna pink cashmere scarf !!!

It even came with a picture story book telling how cashmere is derived. Ashley is learning about fine fabrics already!

Look what arrived from America! A huge package from Augie and Ti!

There were 3 cards, one for the new apartment, one for the arrival of Baby Ashley and one for big brother Dino! There is also a blanket and TY Bear for Ashley and a gift for me! Augie and Ti are so sweet and thoughtful!

They got me a monkey! I could hardly contain my excitement!

I love love love it!!!
