You'd have to be living in the back of beyond to have missed the huge explosion in business which has been enjoyed by the parcel courier market in the past few years. We'd put it down to the increase in popularity of Internet based shopping and distance selling - but the real spin off for us as a business is the fierce competition between these guys and their expanding service levels.

What does that all mean then?

Well, in addition to offering our standard next day delivery for projector lamps we can also offer a few premium delivery services if you so require. Here's a run down:

Same Day Lamp Delivery
Pre 9am Next Working Day Lamp Delivery
Pre 10:30 Next Working Day Lamp Delivery
Pre Noon Next Working Day Lamp Delivery

This stuff all depends on your postcode and region, so if you need your television lamp / projector lamp in a hurry, you need to call us and we will make enquiries and give you a price.

Same day delivery can normally be arranged if you call us before 10:30am. If you need a next day delivery then we need to have your lamp order before 3pm.

Recycle...the possibilities are endless!

We all seem to be under a great deal of pressure to do our bit for the environmet - so here at eProjectorlamps we are working on our own lamp recycling scheme. We always welcome customers who wish to send thier old lamps back, instead of binning them, but until now we have send them off for safe disposal.

In partnership with our remanufacturing service, we will be attempting to remanufacture any old lamps sent in by our customers, these will then be offered for sale as an alternative to our new lamps. Remanufacture is completely dependant on they type of lamp - and unfortunatley as yet we cannot remanufacture all lamps. Any lamp unable to be remanufactured will be sent for safe disposal as usual.

We know that its a drop in the ocean - but if everyone does thier bit, the possibilities are endless!

Lamp Remanufacturing now available

One thing I forgot to mention is that we are now offering a Projector Lamp Remanufacturing service - read on:

In basic terms, you send us your blown lamp and we strip it down to component form. It is then rebuilt using a new "burner" and components as required, before being tested. The remanufactured lamp is then sent back to you with a 3 month warranty to boot. We have done a few now and the feedback on our rebuilt lamps has been pretty good. The real advantage is that sometimes particular lamps are out of stock for a few weeks whereas we can have a lamp rebuilt and back to you within a few working days.

Our charge is £175.00 +VAT for this service and includes the carriage fees.

Well, its May 2007 and the refreshed website has been up now for nearly 12 months. The stock intergration facility is doing well and we like to think it give and honest display of the free stock available for next day delivery. Unlike many companies out there who tell you they have a product just to get the sale!

Right now we are listing around 4000 replacement lamp modules, lamps and bulbs for just about every projecter on the market in the past 10 years - which is pretty damned good. The better thing is that they are all "Original Manufacturer Lamps" - no compatible rubish from us.

The website design boys in the Digitl office http://www.digitl.co.uk did a fine job on the site - it may not look too pleasing (you tell me what you think) but its like a Swan. Poor Mark Burns had a real fight with the code to get things operating as it should! The only thing still struggling a little is the lamp search facility - it sometimes has a mind of its own!
