Loved it!! Trish was such a fun person to shoot, and was a great sport, performing like a pro - even with about 50 people staring at us and applauding as we shot in the middle of Central Park to get the photo below! Here are a few shots from the day, and I'll have a slideshow with more soon :)

I got back rather late last night from a super fun engagement shoot in Hoboken, NJ! Having gone to high school on Long Island, I'm used to hearing how horrible New Jersey is ;) but actually Hoboken is such a cool place! Panama

I spent a day in Panama last week, and here is the slideshow! It was an amazing experience, and I didn't spend nearly enough time there, but we saw quite a lot in just one day including the Canal, Panama City, and both oceans! The country was such an interesting blend of old and new, and you could see the many different cultures merging together. A few of my favorite photos I'm posting below, but I recommend the slideshow ;)

A bunch of us photographers got together for Steve Depino's birthday on Friday! We started at his softball game and ended up at his super cute and clean house :) In attendance were Paul and Crystal, Justin and Mary, Carla, Jacklyn and Chris, as well as some of Steve's non-photographer friends! This afternoon Dru, David, Carla and I got together in downtown Hartford to lunch at Agave and to play with our Nikon settings....

David didn't bring his camera, so Carla loaned him her little Fuji so he could have fun too ;)

But clearly it didn't cure her hostility towards it!

The Real Wedding Crashers

I'm not usually into this type of show, but having been to a zillion weddings... it really is funny! I would love to photograph a wedding that was being crashed (well as long as I was in on it!). The preview of the show is below, and they do one wedding every week. It really is amazing how they torture the friends and family... enjoy!

It was so fun to meet up with David and Dru for Chinese food a couple days ago! It was interesting to get different perspectives on albums and packaging structures, but mostly I think we just enjoyed hanging out. I'm hoping to convert Dru to Pictage so she can come to the PUG meetings :)

A Minute in the Life

I came across this interesting project that anyone can participate in: a simultaneous photography project! And no, you don't have to be a professional to participate!

Bascially the idea is that everyone will take a photograph during the same minute of time and submit them all to Martin, the one who started this, and he will post (or even perhaps create a book) of all the photos he collects.

The minute is going to take place Saturday, the 2nd of June, between 2:00 and 2:01 PM Eastern Daylight Time - so lots of time to spead the word! It is a couple months away, but if you email him (aminuteinthelife@gmail.com) he will send a reminder out closer to the date.

It sounds like an interesting, fun idea to see what everyone captures during the same minute of life :) You can view all the details HERE.
