Mr. Anonymous, It seems that Ortel has paid for this comment or you are associated with that arrogant company. Don't tell us about technical things. If BSNL can provide uninterrupted broadband service via CABLE, why can't Ortel? They are just expanding their customer base at the cost of service. Nothing else. I used Ortel for over an year and had a tough time.

I used to spend Rs. 50 - Rs. 100 per month in making phone calls. Now I am using BSNL and really happy. Barring some minor problems, it's working perfect.

Go through the technical thing about cable modem you can better understand its advantage and disadvantage.then you can justify the things by your own.I am a customer and i am satisfied with the service what you are expecting from a Local MSO.Ortel is doing a better job though its having lots of laconas.

Truly said. Ortel Broadband is a curse for me ever since I took the connection from them. No doubt, they provide faster services. But frequent problems make the life difficult. They give full connectivity to Cyber Cafes and Business Organizations at the cost of common customers. Ortel has become a dictator for the Internet users of Bhubaneswar.
