We have invited her to join our organization and be an integral part of our advertising and business management. She is a remarkable person and we are excited to have her onboard. She is truly an advocate to all the authors who are trying to get their books marketed and advertised nationally. We feel that with her knowledge and energy we will cover more avenues in advertising for those authors we work with. I firmly believe each of you will be pleased with where we go towards marketing your book(s) by having her associated with our team.

Please join us in welcoming her to the team.

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362055088600426822.post-61447239883367562062008-06-16T20:22:00.002-06:002008-06-16T20:52:10.878-06:00Busy BusyI must apologize that we haven't updated our blog in awhile, but I must say we have been pleasantly busy working with some very talented authors. I have had the privilege of reading a number of books and working with the authors to develop visual scripts for them.

For those of you who have been waiting, we have finally posted Jaime Theler's interview for her book "Enjoying the Journey". This has been a long time coming but we are pleased to say it is posted for your enjoyment. Typically interviews don't take this long to complete, but we encountered a number of scheduling issues do to sickness, weddings and etc. :-)

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362055088600426822.post-86185704024028517282008-04-30T19:23:00.005-06:002008-05-01T06:48:02.772-06:00Another UpdateIt has been a couple days so I probably should bring you up-to-date about what we are doing. We are actively working with and reading a couple of books from a few authors looking to have a screener created. Once we are done reading those books we will be drafting a proposal script for the author and publisher to review. Following their approval we will go into production.

I mentioned previously that we were working on a couple interviews; two of which I listed in my previous blog update. We are still in production with both of those books. It is taking a little longer than normal to produce, but that is due to circumstances beyond our control. We hope to wrap up those interviews for you to see just as soon as the authors are ready to finish.

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362055088600426822.post-5671804579671242492008-04-12T17:38:00.002-06:002008-04-12T18:36:40.941-06:00Production UpdateMany of you may already be aware, but we have reposted a new and final version of James Dashner's "The 13th Reality" bookscreener. This was another fabulous experience and we would like to thank both James and Candace for allowing us to work with them to develop their bookscreeners.

We would also like to bring you up-to-date on a few exciting things we are working on. In the rush to complete our demo book screeners for the LDS Storymakers Writers Conference, we focused purely on the production aspects and not the costs. Now that we have completed the conference our production team will sit down shortly and formulate our pricing structure. Please note that we will be competitive and provide you with several options to fit your creative vision as well as your advertising budget.

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362055088600426822.post-25777576167718442072008-03-24T21:32:00.001-06:002008-03-24T22:01:37.643-06:00The 13th Reality Production InformationIf you are interested in what we are doing, please visit our blog often for up-to-date production information. Many of you have already seen the screener for “The 13th Reality”, but we will be making some changes shortly to enhance it. A few of the changes you will see will be to the music selection and the overall length. What we showcased at the LDS Storymakers Writers Conference was a work in progress, but we wanted you to see the potential of what Reel Line Productions can offer you.

We have since received very important feedback from both the author and the publisher of “The 13th Reality”, and that is what we want. It is our goal and priority to work with both the author and publisher to create the best possible book screener. Please be assured that we will work with you and your publisher individually to reach your satisfaction on your screener.

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362055088600426822.post-62269931442058730662008-03-22T17:43:00.005-06:002008-03-31T13:02:30.928-06:00LDS Book ScreenersWelcome to Reel Line Productions. We are the providers of quality video productions; currently specializing in creating Book Screeners. A Book Screener is a visual dramatization or advertisement of an author’s book.

On March 22, 2008 we officially launched the following websites; www.ldsbookscreeners.com and www.reelbookscreeners.com. Shortly, we will be launching a couple other websites that will focus on the variety of authors and publishing companies in the industry.

I started this company after recognizing the difficulty that many authors were having reaching potential readers. With the high cost of national advertising, many authors and publishers could not get the exposure that their books needed for reaching new readers. I realized then that with the growing possibilities of online video streaming that I could provide authors and publishers with a new marketing tool to advertise their books. By tapping this resource, authors and publishers can reach a new demographic and expand their customer base with the click of a button.

As previously stated, a Book Screener is a visual dramatization or advertisement of an author’s book. Just like a movie trailer, these screeners allow readers to connect to your book visually, allowing them better insight into your story and thus drawing their interest into reading it. It is a proven fact that we are a visual people, so this is an opportunity to provide your readers and potential readers with visual stimulation that will sell your book.

Steven Enfieldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08114393972323109089noreply@blogger.com1
