The Lord Jesus Christ came to deliver us from this fear and to give us immortality through the gospel. Consider these few verses from the Bible:</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">2 Timothy 1:10</span> ....the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, Who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Hebrews 2:9</span> But we see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Hebrews 2:14,15</span> Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.</div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"> <br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>Death the Result of Sin</strong></span></div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Romans 5:12</span> Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned.</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Romans 6:23a</span> For the wages of sin is death.</div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"> <br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>Death Destroyed</strong></span></div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">1 Corinthians 15:26</span> The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">15:54,55</span> So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">2 Corinthians 1:9,10</span> But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in Whom we trust that He will yet deliver us.</div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"> <br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>Only Jesus Christ Can Take Away the Fear of Death</strong></span></div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">Romans 6:23</span> The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">John 3:16</span> For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.</div><div align="justify"><span style="color:#ff0000;">1 John 4:18</span> There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment.
