Club 2 Snooker and Pool, Bandar Puchong Jaya

Club 2 Snooker and Pool is a brand new centre located in Bandar Puchong Jaya. If you are looking for a centre other than Asia Cafe, this one would be a good choice. This place had been visited by Jimmy White, Champion of World Snooker Series 2009 and former World Snooker Champion for an exhibition match. For below photos, forgive me for resizing them too small till the resolutions are gone.

As seen in the photo, no camera is allowed. Please do adhere. For a game of pool, it costs RM 16.80 per hour. However, there is a special promotion with 20 % discount or RM 13.40 per hour. (not sure till when the promotion valid)

There are 4 tables for pool and 5-7 tables for snooker (forgot..^^). The environment is quite good, less crowded but there is no separate area for smoking. I would like to praise for the services offered. When you finished a game, the staff will immediately come over to arrange the pool balls for you, almost all game.

Though it is a bit expensive, it is a suitable place for those looking for a less crowded centre. The services provided are very good. It will be more worth to go should the 20% promotion is still valid.

Sunway Lagoon

Sunway Lagoon is the first water themed park in Malaysia opened since 1992. It has evolved from 2 parks (Dry & Wet) to 5 parks (Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Extreme Park & Scream Park). You can check the admission charges here. For MyKad holders, all park is at RM 72.

In my opinion, if you plan to play all parks, be sure to arrive as early as possible as time really not enough. All the parks close at 6 pm. You need to pay a deposit of RM 10 for wristband tag and returned before 7 pm on the same day of purchase. Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. We came late because CC wanted to upload his video entry for Mister Potato blog contest which took hours and yet unsuccessful.

So, WELCOME to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park! Also, remember that you cannot bring in any outside food or drinks, not even a bottle of mineral water. The staff will do spot check on your belongings at the entrance. Food and drinks are available inside the theme park but expect slightly higher prices.

The first park that we went was the Scream Park. You have to put your begs outside but remember to bring along your valuable items along with you. After sufficent number of visitors lets say 10, the staff will then give a short 'shocking' briefing to all. The staff will try to shock you on how scary it is inside before you even enter. For those who stand nearby the staff during briefing, be sure to prepare as they will scare you out of sudden with loud scream and engorged eyes.

It was quite a long tour. Discover the Adventures in the Dark headlined by the Prison Break LIVE! attraction. During the tour, you will be ushered along with live inmates and zombies. For girls or those who looked scare, be aware. Those inmates and zombies will recognise and tagged you along the tour. They will come near your stretching their 'ham sap' hands all over you but don't worry, they won't touch you. You will feel wind blow or something caressing your leg as well.

You will first reach the ANGOSCIA (Italian for FEAR) theathre. Here, you will stand for quite some time watching the ghost story. Next, should be the Terror Tunnel in 3D. You will be given a pair of 3D glasses before entering. I must tell you that the world like turn upside down for me and I was swaying left to right while walking past the tunnel. There are metal bars for you to hold. The ground of the tunnel seemed like rotating and really cannot stand until I need to remove the 3D glasses.

After that, we went through a chain link prison fence. Again, with the special effects, the ground like rotating and the prison fence was like moving towards you. Your sight will be little affected and the walking lane become confusing. After all the obstacles, you will finally reach to the Night Museum where there are a lot of exhibits and cave structures like stalagmite and stalactite (is that correct spelling).

Overall, it was a very nice 'Rumah Hantu' but not worth if you purposely pay for it. The Scream Park equals Rumah Hantu only and I don't think you will go in again repeatedly or maximum only 2 tours.

Do you spot anything special in these pictures? I coincidentally found a new effect which was making everything in reverse or opposite. Left to right and right to left. Check the wording in these pictures, Wagon Wheel, the signboard and even the position of the girls.

Next, we walked past a fish pond with so many japanese koi fish.

Next station was the Wildlife Park. Charlene and Wan Nah were looking at the two colourful parrots. This spot is located at the main entrance and remember to take pictures with those parrots. It's FOC, so why waste?

The colour look like the LUNA pencil colour box. Talking about the pencil colour, when was the last time I used it? Perhaps, during Form 6 Pengajian Am.

Taking picture with white parrots but for me its a special one with the colourful parrot as well. Between, look at Chie Chek face expression. Found anything wrong? The white parrot loved him so much till it 'shitted' on his shirt. Hahaha...

The best picture was by Wan Nah. The Wildlife wording and the angle were the best. Cheers~

Next, we met Sang Kura-kura. Charlene was too eager to meet her friend and wanted to kiss the tortoise. Between, was she kissing or wanted to try to eat live guai lin guo? Haha.

White monkeys! How often you managed to see a white monkeys? We were a bit late and miss the chance of taking photo with it. A group of foreigners managed to do so but when we waited for ours, the staff told us the monkey need to be rested before the coming shows shortly.

Apa animal were that?? Don't sleep la.. look at me.. look at me.. Confirmed dead.

Yeah..look at her (my pet sis).. single but already committed. The reason I put the picture was actually to tell something on the sky bridge with 428 m length. The bridge is very long and it took about 10-15 minutes walk with some 'sia sui' jumping and running act by... you know which monkey la.. Also, the Flying Fox station is located at one end of the sky bridge.

Rabbits.. hairy rabbits. The pictures here were so 'lovely'. One bad thing about rabbits is that they are very smelly. To be precise is the rabbits' farm .. for example the one at Awana Hotel, Genting. Those who keep rabbits at home must have bath them uncountable time.

After that, we went to the big lake to hop for Arapaima Fish. I dunno what so special about this fish but my friend told me they are very expensive. If you have time, you may try the experience to feed them but you need to wait for the feeding time.

Next adventure was the toilet. Haha.. Friends of mine know very well I like to shoot toilet pictures. Haha. To the left is the male toilet while to the right is the female toilet (男左女右).

After paying the water bill, it was the time to jump high. Sorry to Charlene as her jumping skills really bad. She need to follow a few lessons from me. My 'anak murid' Hui Hoon learns things faster. Haha. Have you seen the post where she jumped about 50x times non stop? Check here.

Sitting at the lake side. Try to spot the big elephants on the most right of the picture. Well, of course they are statue and not live elephants~

The most left was the Slow Loris or Nycticebus coucang (not goncang). They live at tropical evergreen, secondary forests and suburban gardens. Slow lorises (plural) feed on fruit, animal prey, gums, shoots and bird eggs. One distinct feature them is they like to SLEEP the whole day. Just look at what they are doing in the picture. They often curl up in a ball with its arms over its head. I wanted to condemn their staff at the Wildlife Park. They treat the foreigners especially from the Middle East better than locals. When the foreigners come near to a spot, the staff will explain to them in a very detail manner but when we, the locals do the same, nobody approach us. If I am their boss, I am going to 'fire' them immediately. Haha. Day dreaming again.

Alright, look at her again. This time I wanted to introduce you that this was at the Wildlife Park.

Next, we met with peacocks and its surrounding friends. This area is not caged so that these birds including the peacock move freely around. We met with a foreigner who was feeding the birds. When it came to our turn, we have some unexpected lucky event.

We spotted this peacock very long time. Do you know the male is know as peacock while the female is known as peahen. I think it knew we were looking for him/her. It came out from a secluded area and then started to spread its plumage?? We took about 20-30 minutes here.. WHY?

Whats more than grabbing the chance to take solo picture with the peacocok. Surprisingly, it spreaded its plumage or sort of tail feathers or better known as train feathers for quite long time knewing very much that we were taking its pretty feathers.

Cheers.. everyone was overjoyed to see the spreaded pretty feathers. The foreigners spotted us and watched us all the while. While they took turn to take the picture, the peacock ran away. Haha.

After that, we changed out clothes and moved to the Amusement Park or better known as Dry Park. Due to that, I didn't bring along my camera. The first station we went was the Pirate's Revenge- Malaysia's first 360 degree rotating pirate ship. OMG!! I must tell you that you will have nausea or feeling to vomit after playing it. I thought those days I was not ready but it was the same when I revisited the 'Vomiting Ship'.

We also went to the Wild Wild West. We ride the Grand Canyon River Rapids. The Niagara Falls Flume Ride aka the sampan was closed for maintenance. SOB.

Next round..look at my pretty sis again. This time I wanted to tell you that we already at the Water Park. This picture was taken at the lockers area and in the dark as it already close to 7 pm. Between, the lockers costs 1 token or RM 5. Quite expensive so don't bring along bulky beg as it has a small capacity.

We first went to play at the Extreme Park. We played at the Paintball Shooting Range where we can practise shooting of about 10 pellets FOC. Then, we played the Power Jump Bungee Trampoline just next to this shooting range. Here, you will jump up and down like a small kid.. quite pak chi la.. If you want some excitement, I can teach you how to play and jump high. The staff who looked after me was extremely nervous when I jumped extraordinary high and jumped in many directions. Haha. What you need to do is simple. When you is jumping up, release your grip on the ropes and when you are jumping down, hold back the rope to control the landing. At the same time, the staff will give you some hand signal saying NO NO .. haha.

The flying fox was a short one but quite fun. You will fly down from one end of the sky bridge towards the surf beach at the length of 203 m. You won't be touching the water but upon landing, you will walk down the stairs to the surf beach and wet yourself. I think that all for the Extreme Park. We didn't go for the all terrain vehicle (ATV) as the queue was too long. Other activities that you can play include Kayak or Paddle Boat or Swan Ride.

At the Water Park, the best ever was the Waters of Africa. Here, we dive headfirst down the six lanes Congo Challenge challenging each other who dive down the fastest and the furthest. For those who has 'some weight', you will be dive further towards the end. Next, was the dunno what was it called but 3 tunnels dive from the top. As you reach, the closest tunnel to you is tunnel A, middle is B and the furthers is C. A is the most exciting where the whole tunnel was closed or without any opening. The whole journey will be dark not knowing where are the obstacles and when to land down. B is semi open while C is all uncovered tunnel. I would say A (the best) and C are better than B. Though C is all uncovered, there are a lot of small barriers at the bottom compared to the rests. Also, we played the Africa Pythons were we spun around the loops before being propelled out from the gigantic tube. The BEST part was were played these 3 games repeatedly without queuing up. It should be around 5 pm and thus lesser people at here.

After a crazy non stop playing there, we finally went to the surf beach. Though at that time, the beach was closed for the beach surfing, we stayed behind the line to feel the waves generated. Silly but it was fun!

Didn't I mentioned at the locker picture which we need to rush before 7 pm? We were close to it but still managed to take these photos although it was still raining.

The two guys in front were out of sight. Steady la... can reach before 7 pm.. Cheers~~

Do you know the name of the sort of mascot of Sunway Lagoon? It is named as Captain Quack. She (I think) will quack till you guys have an enjoyable trip at the theme park.

Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam

The Malaysia Agriculture Park was opened to public since 1986 and is located at Shah Alam. We came here by a Pajero driven by Siew Hoon. Fuyoh!~ Though she stayed very near to this place, we still got lost about an hour despite having GPS and human GPS aids.

Skytrex Adventure

I heard about this place long time ago but haven't got the chance to try it. As seen on the board, the price is RM 35 per adult which is quite affordable and reasonable. In this sort of outdoor theme park, visitors will 'swing' from tree to tree via series of aerial obstacles suspended at 3 to 22 metres in the air. Cool right? Anyone interested in joining me? We need a bunch of fearless people regardless of gender. Pre-booking is needed.

This is the map carved on the wood. The area covering 1,295 hectares or virgin jungle is quite huge. However, no worry as you can rent a bicycle or ride on free buses.

All the pictures were taken by Chie Chek and not me. Sound impossible right? This was because I was struggling and learning hard on how to ride a bicycle. I had told my friends thousands time that I do not know how to ride but they told I was lying. SOB.

The charges for the bicycle is RM 3 for the first hour and RM 1 for the subsequent hours. Charlene said she do not know how to ride bicycle as well but she definitely do better than me. At least, she can balance within few seconds while I took a very long time to balance. Wait, balance only.. not yet cycle it... SOB.

My friends demanded me to ride the bicycle despite I kept telling them I rather walk, run or even take the free bus service which I believed I can move faster. However, they taught and assisted me before I can start riding a few metres. My personal best was 100 m non stop during Form 1 and initially Thien Jian (the culprit's head) told me the road was smooth and not sloppy.

OMG! The bus was behind me. The SOP was to stop whenever there is passing motorcycle, other bicycle or bus. Thien Jian and Kuan Poh were waiting me to reach them. I was struggling hard to balance myself and at the same time to ride forward. It was so painful and tired. Sigh. Then only they told me they believed that I do not know how to ride bicycle. SOB.

Animal Garden

This was our first station. It was a relief for me as we need not to ride bicycle around this place. I was hoping that I can instead asked the bus to take my bicycle back to the shop and used my both legs as mode of transport. Well, dream on..

Porcupines

They are rodents with sharp spines or quills defending them from predators. There were many of them spotted here. We dare not touch the spines. They seemed having alopecia on the body if you zoomed in your focus.

Well, I dunno what animal is that but beware of it as it will vomit out liquids when you come near to its cage. Luckily, the liquids did not reach us.

Spice Garden

Beside Spice Garden, there are other gardens such as Ornamental Garden, Orchid Garden, Cactus Garden, Bamboo Garden and Mushroom Garden. You must wondering why the Mister Potato was seen in these pictures. CC had planned to make a video entry for the Mister Potato blog contest and these girls were his model of the day.

Siew Hoon, Charlene and Kuan Poh were involved in this scene. I was laughing at them at the hut opposite the garden upon seeing them running and jumping around to grab the Mister Potato.

These were all the tired faces after the scene play at the garden. Initially, I accompanied Thien Jian to rest at this hut. Good for me too as I can rest my hands and legs after struggling with the bicycle.

Resting while chatting before CC called for another scene play. These models were so obedient. Not bad.

Again, it was throwing and grabbing the Mister Potato. I too involved in throwing while these models will be acting. I don't want myself being captured as I was too tired and exhausted while the water was running out.

After finished the video clip, we then move back to the base. What a relief that they had cancelled the plan to explore deeper to the lake where an observational tower was located.

See how I was struggling to climb up hill. The course was too advance for me as I jumped for beginner stage (smooth road) straight to riding up HILL. Argggghhh ... HELP!!!

See I rather walk than riding a bicycle~ Between, I faced no problem in climbing down hill but these bunch of people really trust me to ride down hill without supervision compared to up hill. Though I don't know how to adjust the gear, I still know how to press the brake. Haha.

At last, we managed to find a food stall. We were so desperate to look for water and finally we reached to this stall. The owner, perhaps the lady above, claimed that her drinks are sold at the cheapest price compared to other stalls. 100 Plus 500 ml costs RM 2 while 1.5 L costs RM 4.

So, of course we bought the big bottles and shared among us. The lady even taught us to join the straw and provided us with the plastic bag. Good service right?

Our next station was the paddy field. The picture was taken at a hut nearby the paddy field with a small pond full of fishes and a fountain.

Besides paddy field, there are also cocoa trees, oil palm, rubber trees, coffee, coconut and other fruit trees. We did not know this was a paddy field until I found the official website showing it (I guess they all still don't know). And again, these girls were modelling under the hot sun while me & Kuan Poh rested at the hut.

Next scene play was taken at the hut. They were laying down while eating Mister Potato chips while I was taking their picture. Can you spot me in the picture? Did you found me? Neh.. the pair of legs.. I was standing while taking this picture.

Wa.. So relax after hours of cycling. On the right was me & my pet sister, Charlene.

Have you heard of coconut jelly? It is simply jelly inside the coconut shell. It costs RM 4.50. Quite soothing after a day of thirst.

Overall, it was a very tiring and exhausting trip. The miracle thing was I did not take any pictures at all. Good thing was I had broke the initial record of 100 m riding a bicycle. Haha.

The Shah Alam Malaysia Agriculture Park opens from 8.30am to 4.30pm every Tuesdays to Sundays. It is closed on Mondays except when it is a public or school holiday. There are other attractions such as the four seasons garden (RM 3 per entry per adults) and even fishing (RM 2 for renting a fishing rod. The admission fee for the park is RM 3 per adults.

My third cheque from Nuffnang!

It's the third cheque with 3 digits. It took 6 months from 1st April till 30 September 2009. I received the cheque during study break hence only managed to post it now. Do I need to mention again? It's HOLIDAY now and I'm HOLIDAYING very well till now. Phew.. was too tired with recent continuous plans.

As usual, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my supportive friends, my blog's readers and the bloggers' community. I will try to write more posts as many as possible during this holiday and complete the delayed posts (up to 30-50) on my happenings, outings, foods and many more.

The total damage for ice skating was RM 8 for the damn expensive lau yah glove. If you guys still keep the glove or have your own pair, bring it for your skating session. The skating is FOC..wohoo~~

The normal admission fee (per entry) during weekday is RM 13 while weekends is RM 18. During public or school holidays, they give you a flat rate of RM 21 (avoid going in this period). The operating hours starts as early as 9 am till up to 10 pm. For more information, check their website here.

Last but not least, I was so happy that I did not fall down for even once during the skating session. I still remembered how much bruises I got on my both legs, palms and hands during my first time skating session with another bunch of friends. For those people out there, go and have fun in skating for at least once in your lifetime. I assure you it is a nice experience even though you might need to fall down and getting bruises. Otherwise, who knows you can move around smoothly with the skating shoes/blades.

It's jalan-jalan cari makan again!!~~ This time our destination is Axian Dim Sum located at Bandar Puteri Puchong. Axian is the popular host Jason Yeoh (host of Taste With Jason 阿贤人情味) on Astro AEC. This place was long said by Suk Yen by we didn't have the chance till now to taste the tasty dim sum! If case you still don't know who is Axian, just look at the restaurant signboard below:

It is located at the shop houses opposite Giant (meaning not Giant side). Turn right at the traffic light at Giant.

Loh Mai Kai- RM 3.50. A bit expensive but taste good.

Crispy Salad Roll - A whole prawn wrapped in the Vietnamese rice paper roll and served with mayonnaise sauce. Kuan Poh say it got sweet and salty taste but for me, it's just normal crispy thingy with a prawn or better say, I taste nothing but only mayonnaise.

Dr. Nala Farewell Party

Dr. Nalamolu Koteswara Rao teaches Pharmacology in UCSI University. He holds a PhD (Biotechnology), M Pharm (Pharmacology) and B Pharm from India. He entered into the university when I was in Year 1. The first subject that he taught us was Basic Pharmacology & Immunology. Initially, we had difficulty in understanding his slang but gradually it becomes a non issue. He tried to make his class session as fun as possible by putting animations as pharmacology is really a boring subject. Besides that, he also try to compress the lecture notes as there are really many things to be memorised. A drug can have a lot of adverse effects and many drugs are having very similar adverse effects. This really make us headache! However, thanks to Dr. Nala (Dr Thet called him Dr Rao), everything was made simple through his guidance.

His famous word is 'nothing but'. You can ask him for help in anything 'nothing but' be it in studies or personal issues. I do consulted him before and he showed high level of interest, concern and care for his students. If you are looking for any journal which requires subscription, you can ask him for help and he will be very happy to help you.

We love him very much. We were so touched when he told us that he wanted to teach us till we completed all the pharmacology classes despite there was initial call to leave the SOP a year earlier. Our ties with him basically is uncomparable compared to my fellow juniors. He never scolded us in the class and he treated each of us nicely. Also, he took a very short time to remember all of our name (I guess just for 1 semester). This can be never happened compared to other lecturers who don't recall our names despite teaching us for years. Generally, it is a good feeling when your lecturers do remember your name compared to the usual nickname 'boy, girl, hey you, student'.

In this farewell video, the pictures included are those taken before study break and few pictures taken years back. At the right bottom, you can see a few pictures of him enjoying his vacations and were taken from his Facebook. Dr Nala is a very sporting person and he loves traveling so much. In just about 3 years in Malaysia, he had traveled to a lot of places in Malaysia and not just KL.

That's the usual happy face he portrayed in the class. Also, he has one funny gesture that we will always remember which is clasping his both hands and shaking his head. He was no doubt a funny person.

Listen attentively while Dr. Nala was giving his speech. He is very understanding person. When we feel sleepy during the class, he will call for a break or when we were tired after a quiz or test, he will make things simpler and even postpone to another day.

Dr. Nala is very concern on our performances. He can memorised some of our results and the mistakes we had done in the exam. Before exam, he will give us the tutorials to familiarize us with the exam format. I can say he is very different from other lecturers who simply make a level difficulty 3 questions that only they know what is the answer and always ask the students to think out of the box when they didn't write the questions clearly. In contrast, he will give a very similar type of questions so that we know what are the expectations during the exam.

We gave him a big farewell card with our message written inside and also a photo frame with our class photos with him.

Jivanraj who is the upcoming class rep was the emcee for the farewell party. Outgoing class rep, Shin Ying represented us to give our token of appreciation to Dr. Nala. Ivan joined and gave his personal gift to Dr. Nala.

Besides the two cakes, our meal consists of pizza. Yeah... hot baken pizza from Pizza Hut. However, due to budget constraint, we only can eat 1 piece of the pizza. There are only 54 pieces from 9 pizzas ordered.

M: I knew you love Mister Potato so much since you were young. In fact, our love started when we both fought against each other at the Ong Tai Kim Supermarket just for the last pack of Mister Potato. And now.. I want to use it to propose my marriage to you. Will you marry me?

Peek-a-boo Back Blouse

Slurpeelicious Moment Contest: VOTE NOW, updated

Phew.. finally all the photos are successfully submitted. It took me three days to fully submit them. Wonder why only selected photos are uploaded in the website initially causing me to send repetitively. I spent another few hours just to find the photo on the middle night on the first day of voting through the super lagging page site. Duh~~! Waste my time!@

On the other hand, I would like to ask for support from my dear readers to vote for my fellow friends aka models who are joining this Slurpeelicious contest. A lot of hard works, time, brain 'squeezing' and efforts have been put for this contest. Check here for the photo taking day. My position are as photographer + director + manager for them. Haha.

It is seriously hard to take a jumping shot. You will know how many time she jumped non stop from previous post. This is because the mouth position must be aligned correctly to the straw. Also, the jumping act should be in a nice curve to portray out the sense of joyfulness. In addition, the facial expression must be considered as well. The curvature is the best of all in this photo and her eye is actually open if you enlarge the photo.

This is a rather simpler shot. In this photo, she is portraying that she is drinking the Slurpee and is thinking to drink for another Slurpee next. For the yellow Slurpee (lime), it is adjusted slightly bend 45 degree and appear slightly small in sight to resembles something in imagination. Drops of water outside the plastic cup can portray the tastiness of the drink as well as the strong desire of her to have another cup of Slurpee.

Happy Deepavali

To all my readers, Happy Deepavali!!! Today, me, Yi Pei, Suk Teng and Naresh went to Subhashini house for a visit. Wan Ying and Kuan Phang couldn't make it to this function. The last time we visited her house was during her birthday celebration. See here. (the younger of us..haha)

Hand made kolum at the entrance of the house usually using coloured rice. However, due to the traffic passing by the entrance, they painted the decor instead. Also, at the edge or the flower, there will be a candle usually lighted at night to brighten the house.

For Chinese, we usually had drawings such as bamboo, chicken, fishes, flowers, mountains and etc potrayed at our house. For Indians, it seems to be such story board consisting of a legend with the copper topping.

This is a big pot of water floated with fresh flowers giving the fresh aroma of the flowers at the living room. Hmm~~ so fresh~

It is a big difference for cookies and traditional food served at an Indian house compared to the Chinese. A must to have for Indians are the muruku and some sweet delicacies. However, I do not get used to the taste of some of them. For example, the dark brown ring taste is so 'special', I can taste ginger and sort of santan inside. Oh...what is that? The best is still the chocolate chips..haha.

Suk Teng still remain slim while Yi Pei has a very good understanding about the Indians especially food, attire and traditions. Salute her~

Thanksgiving lunch for all pharmacy clerkship group leaders

First of all, a very sincere thanks to Ms Lyna for organising such function. It was indeed a very nice one. How you ever wondered eating with your lecturers? That was the main concern when I was deciding to attend or not plus I need to go back to 'hometown'. Haha. What will the topic of discussion with them? Argh..what an awkward situation! Between, felt very sad. I was playing with her the previous night until I forgot to change back the image size. I only realised why the pictures were so tiny when I uploaded them into my computer.

The group leaders are Alvin (G1), Belinda, Gan Hui Chin, Lee Yen and ME (G5). Hui Chin was unable to attend due to health condition. Lecturers attended were Mr. Allan representing the lecturers, Ms Lyna as the head of Clinical Department and Ms Wong Pei Nee. Mr Fatokun and Ms Saras were unable to attend.

Spot me? Well, see how happy Belinda was and trying to promote the garlic bread! I love garlic bread or even breadstix dipped inside the creamy mushroom soup. Yummy~ We ordered the Lunch Express Meal for Two at RM 15.90 (before tax). This set included 2 Lunch Express Pizza/Pasta/Rice, 2 soup of the day, 1 garlic bread and 2 glasses of Pepsi. The pizza that me and Belinda ordered were the new Triple Chicken and the new Cheesy Chicken.

Thanks Ms Wong for ordering the Deli chicken wings (smoked and spicy). I couldn't remember when was the last time I ate the chicken wings from Pizza Hut. It is small and a bit different taste but Ms Wong claimed it was standard size. Haha. Greedy me!

We did discuss on certain lame questions for example: Where are you from? Are you going back hometown for study break? How was your study? Do you enjoy being a group leader? Argg.. how to withstand such situation. Haha.

The good buddies, Ms Wong (small little eye), Mr Allan aka big kids and Ms Lyna (weng chun master?) Haha. No comment.

* Between, it was a down and up day for me. The conclusion that I would like to make is that if there is no respect in friendship, I rather be alone. I had such experience before and I'm glad I'm out of the game and no longer be treated as a toy. I am just a normal human with feelings. Do not use my kindness as a weakness. My silence is to prevent chaos, only burst when it is dominated for selfish reasons. TQ for your understanding, my friends~ Appreciate.

Slurpeelicious Contest Photoshooting

This week is indeed a more relaxing week. Finally, all quizzes had been taken and now awaiting for the final exam. After a long time consideration, I finally made up my mind and started to call people for my modeling shots. Between, this contest was not my main photography session of which I will be taking the shots tomorrow with my pretty model. When I encountered this contest through my very own blog advertisement, my next question is 'Why don't give a try?'.

The prizes are indeed attractive. However, that is not my main target. The primary objective is to take once a lifetime picture with my friends whereas the secondary is to aim for at least a prize so that we can share it together. Well, I am the director + photographer, so my share should be larger. Haha. I need to act in each scene play before my models follow. It's pretty hard! As a professional team, we do have make up session. Also, I basically try to use the objects surrounding as the prop for the shooting.

Wangsa Maju Putra LRT Station

What a shocking scene! After a very long time of not boarding LRT monorail, I was totally shocked by the surge of humans at the station early in the morning. It is packed with people like Puduraya Bus Stattion! No doubt that there is vigorous development all over the Setapak. More condominiums, shop houses, housing area are built recently. Traffic condition is getting worse till there is expansion of existing 2 lanes to 3 lanes and some 3 to 4 lanes namely at Genting Klang. Business is growing at Danau Kota, Sri Rampai, Setapak Jaya and Wangsa Maju near the Carrefour area. Though the Wangsa Maju Mosque already being built under RM-8 (if not mistaken), the Sri Rampai LRT station was not opened and seemed to be abandoned. Perhaps, due to the cost issue but I thought the main objective of the station is to make the Muslim prayers easily travel to the mosque for prayer. With all these, there is no doubt that the residents in Setapak had no choice but to congest this station. Between, why I was there at that time? The picture was taken during my working days at KLCC.

Those days, Wangsa Maju LRT station was congested with people around 8 to 8.15 am. However, the timing had changed from 7.50 am to 8.30 am. The frequency of train is every 2 minutes. Yea.. it is TWO.

Each time the train arrives at this station, the train will be packed by humans. There can be only minimum number of people entering the packed sardine train despite the long queue.

Hence, to avoid such incidence and for a better standing position in the train, usually I will board the train to terminal Gombak (last station) before coming back to this station. Estimated time from Wangsa Maju- Taman Melati- Terminal Gombak- Taman Melati- Wangsa Maju takes 8 minutes. I must say I prefer Putra LRT than Star LRt than the worst, lousy KTM. To estimates the time reached to your destination, jsut multiply with 2 minutes for each station and add 1 minute if there is high traffic of people. This formula really works~

Wow! Civilised scene! Well, it was because there was a LRT train police officer with arms guarding the station. What a discovery~ Then only I noticed that the room next to the cashier room in most station or all is now occupied by the polices. It is good to see them here but they can be only spotted especially during the 'morning jams' or at heavy traffic station like KLCC.

Moon cake festival celebration

There wasn't celebration this year. The said bbq had to be called off due to the reason stated in previous post. However, Jun Jun came back home and played till the rest reached home late night.

Arg.. it was difficult to take his photo. I need round and rounds of persuasion and patience then only able to do so. Between, he was getting naughtier and do a lot of poses nowadays.

Lantern brightened the night but the moon was not in sight. Wonder where it hides?

This 'chu chai' biscuit is the favourite among children. It was my favourite too when I was young.

As aging takes place, we shall eat the adult biscuits aka the moon cake. Haha. Nowadays, there are varities of flavours including cheese, green tea, tiramisu, chocolate and many more. The one above is 'mua chi' flavour.

The pic was out of angle. No choice, need to snap fast as family members started to call me crazy for taking moon cake pictures. 'Aiyo, you never see moon cake before meh?'.

I prefer these soft and sweet mini moon cake. Best eaten when refrigerated.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Touching on doughnuts, it seems to be a new food trend among youngster in our country. Doughnuts outlets in the country namely KL grows like mushroom. It is usually a must to visit in shopping complex, just to look around for new flavours if any and to see the freshly bake doughnuts. Though the flavoured doughnuts price ranges from 2.20 to 2.80 per piece, people are still willingly wait for long queue to buy one to satisfy their taste bud.

And today, the topic will be on Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Its first outlet was in Berjaya Times Square. Today, it opens its door to customers at Mid Valley and Sunway Pyramid as well. I saw the store at Mid Valley and since everybody was saying that its doughnuts is the King of All Doughnuts, why don't give a try. Let's see what I had bought, erm to be precise my sister. Haha.

A dozen of pre-assorted variety costs RM 23.90. For the Raya promotion, there is a free half dozen pre-assorted varieties with the purchase of any one dozen assorted doughnuts. To my surprise is hald dozen costs Rm 16.80 (around that price). It's very logical to buy 1 dozen + 1/2 dozen free at RM 23.80 than to buy only half dozen at RM 16.80.

The menu board at the Mid Valley outlet does not dispaly the price for half dozen and not even a single piece. They expect everyone will buy one dozen instead. The staff were not friendly at all. With the lack of information on the prices, it is common for customers to re-confirm the prices. They seem very unfriendly to me when I inquired about the price. In addition, there was Raya promotion which gives 18 doughnuts at RM 23.80. Clarification is of course needed otherwise later will be scammed.

I must say that the doughnuts is not as nice as being said or promoted around the blogs. You guys remember during the launching of its first outlet at Times Square where people were crazily queuing up early in the morning to haunt for the doughnuts. Most of the blogs even labeled it as King of all Doughnuts. I must strongly object the nickname given as the taste was so so only. J Co Donuts followed by Big Apple Donuts are better than Krispy Kreme.

I think this will be the first and the last time I will buy Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I do not want to spent money on over rated and over priced common doughnuts. What say you?

Obituary

Demographic: Elderly, F
CC: Swelling (edematous) on both lower limbs (thighs to toe) and stomach.
MH: Hypothyroidism, compliance to thyroid replacement therapy, operation before many years back to remove enlarged goiter.

Before admission, she has a hx of ICU ward admission weeks back but later able to walk with supports. No edema was observed.

When I first visited her, she has SOB and was on the oxygen support. Left leg still enlarged while right leg was subsiding slowly. Stomach was swollen to 5 months old pregnant women size. According to the fx member, her conditions has yet to be diagnosed. Relatives were sourcing the ‘God help’. One said the ancestor wanted to pull her down to hell while another said she was disturbed by soul of a dead person died due to abortion.

The next morning, I visited her again early in the morning. The doctor in charged said he did not know what was the cause of her CC and investigations were still carried out. He said her heart was ok and no problem (I initially thought it was CHF plus she was warded into cardiac unit). Then, another doctor should by a gynecologist came for ward check and gave the same answer. After about 1 hour, a group of 6 doctors (5 Males and 1 Female wearing a bag) came for ward check. Heard them saying that not much ascites, peritoneal deposit, hypoalbuminemia and pericardium normal. No conclusion was made but said pending investigations. Next, after 30 minutes later, group of 3 doctors (seems to be specialist) came and as usual do the checking. They also were unable to diagnose her problem.

After 8 days of admission, she finally left us. On that day, my sis told me she saw her looking the ward at all angles and was talking to ‘somebody’. Her reply was ‘yes’, ‘go away’ and etc. In afternoon, she started to be very weak. She can’t speak but only able to nod her head. Accordingly, no pulse rate at a point time and doctor used life saving injections. Pulse return back later but doctor said she no longer able to survive till that night. News on her conditions was relayed to all close relatives.

I received the death news late at night. It was very unexpected and saddening for her departure. Worse still, I was informed that my mum was sobbing all the time. I felt even sad as I cannot help and was not there to console my mum. My mood for the next day was so down. Doctor said she had end stage cancer. What a rubbish diagnosis! The family members were convinced but relatives were surprised to disbelief. She did not complain any pain before and she had admitted to various hospitals, performing all sorts of lab and physical tests, DON’T TELL ME NONE OF THEM CANNOT IDENTIFY PRESENCE OF CANCER! She had done blood test, CT scan, X-rays and many more and not even one result suggest cancer? Doctor explaination that she had end stage was absolutely unacceptable. There were not even signs and symptoms for previous stage and now end stage?

Talking about the children was sad story. My aunt and her husband raised them up by farming. She worked day to night non stop from young till now to fund for their education. Now that all of them are graduated with their own profession and earns a lot, they forgot about the past. They earn thousands per month but yet need their parent’s money to buy houses and cars. What a shame. When my aunt complained of discomfort, they were hesitated to bring her see doctors. They even argued and scolded her. When she was warded in PPUM, my mum and others were asking them to change to Gleneagles because her conditions were undiagnosed for days after admission. Even the Chinese medium or temple asked them to change hospital but they denied. Though the cost may be slightly higher, but what is more important than your own mother life? Furthermore, all the things that the children had now were given by her. A minimum 4 years degree will cost at about RM 60000 to 80000 x 4 @basket children would be about RM 320000. She raised you up even when you in her stomach till now. So, how come you people cannot admit her to a better hospital for faster treatment? When she was in ward, they came late to bring her food or to take care of her. During the day she passed away, the father and the eldest children were late because @basket children want to bath first.

Status, money and self pride can make a person blind!

After class on Friday, I hurried back to meet my family members to attend her funeral at Xiao En, Cheras. Mum was alright but whenever she talked on how her younger sis died not peacefully, she broke out in tears. Relatives from hometown came along with us. All of them were sadder than their own children. The place for the funeral service was quite cozy, air conditioned and modern. Day 1, her mouth was intact and closed while day 2, her mouth was slightly opened. Mum said this is the sign when a person died not peacefully.

When relatives came, my mum served them most of the time. You can expect those self called educated @basket children don’t even know their relatives. The funny thing is that usually after a person pay respect to deceased, the family members of the deceased will stand aside and pay respect to the person also. But, I never see them stand or even kneel down. I only see them chatting outside with their close friends. The @basket children don’t even talk to us although by right we should be the closest relatives in terms of hierarchy. I seriously do not know what there are so prides of until they have such attitude. @Basket!

Today is the moon cake festival celebration. The said bbq was cancelled. Sorry. I did not attend the service tonight as I had some homeworks to do. Gonna be dead meat soon. With Ms Saras 2 long winded questions, my viva, quiz, drug info report and many more, I seriously lacking of time. Between, a very surprising thing was the eldest son-going-to-be-wife is scheduled to undergo Chinese 'hantaran' for their weddingtoday (for girl side) only while her mum is still resting and yet to be buried! What a @basket children! What is so urgent to get married except the girl is pregnant? Nonetheless, can't you so called educated @basket fella wait until the full funeral service is ended? Bladderful!

Tomorrow is the burial day for her. I need to wake up as early as 6 am tomorrow as my relatives are coming down. Again, it is a sad ending story for her chapter of life. Useless @children make her died not peacefully. After the funeral, I might need to back to Cheras ASAP to continue my homeworks.

Lastly, I wish my aunt ‘May you rest in peace’. And for my readers, remember who raised you up and who gives the things you had now. Give the love to your parents just like what they did since you are born.

Joondalup B.B.Q. Restaurant, Western Australia

OMG.. my memory on the trip going to fade away day by day. I tried my best to write on it but time just not enough or me.

Joondalup is a northern suburb and regional city in Perth. Accordingly to the tour guide, it a newly developed town area. We didn't pay visit to this town except dining at one or perhaps the only one Chinese restaurant known as Joondalup BBQ Restaurant. While on our way, we can see many newly build houses and shophouses along the road.

Spotted on top is Joondalup Health Campus, the major public hospital for Perth's northern suburb.

Chinese live almost everywhere in this world and they make good business at other people land. The owner of this shop supposingly from Hong Kong.

My car on tow

It was a great outing. Me and my friends went to watch 'The Orphan' at MV. We didn't plan any movie to watch and it was just on the spot decision. The movie started at 4.15 pm and we bought the ticket at 4.25 pm. Despite that, Siew Hoon still went to queue and bought Sundae with Kuan Poh. As for me, I queued up to buy mineral waters while Jian went to the washroom. What a free and easy group~

The movie storyline was interesting. A psychiatric patient aged 33 years old had a stunted growth due to hypopituitarism. She has the body size of about 6-9 years old. She was from Russia and speaks good English. She gets into the orphanage home with fake documentation. Each time when she is adopted by a family, she will try to seduce the father. And each time when she fails, she will kill the whole family and burn their home into ashes. For more, do watch at the Cinema or ORIGINAL cds.

After that, we went to cam whore at the ground floor with Hari Raya decors.

I not sure when Oasis re-opened into this new location but hey it is relocated! The Portuguese grills is still the stall with the longest queue.

After the movie, we went to yum cha + dinner at Stephen Corner at OUG. I missed the nasi lemak ayam from Stephen Corner. Due to the rain, we need to sit inside the restaurant, a rather rare experience than chatting in an open air. The Stephen Corner at Genting Klang is much better than this branch, more spacious, more crowd, more staff, more TV and more air. Aiks..what am I crapping..

Soon after that, we headed back from and.........

When we were in half way of going back to Cheras, suddenly my car do not move forward although I pressed the accelerator. It was a tense moment. I switched my 'double lights' and started to move to the side way. After that, we went down to inspect the 'black oil' level and check the engine. Everything was alright, no smoke, no water dripping out, oil level was ok, black oil was ok and gearbox oil also ok.

I felt so sorry for my friends for having trouble them into such situation though they denied and claimed it should be them. Nonetheless, it was a very brand new experience standing and chatting at the shoulder of the highway. Haha... they even took photos at there. Lots of phone calls coming in offering concerns and solutions. Seriously, I felt nothing and just like normal because I wasn't alone and my friends were with me.

It was my first experience sitting inside a tow truck as well. It seemed like sitting inside a silence and slow moving ambulance with the light on top of the truck flashing all the time.

The car is now back to me. It was sent to a mechanic and was then sent back in front of my house by my bro in law. The car just fall sick, having flu perhaps due to the heavy rain these few days and now is ok after a dose of antihistamine. Mechanic said it was something wrong with the wiring system and it is now corrected.

As for me, I think all this happened due to the God will for reason only known to Him. I thanked Him for giving me support from my friends and family members. The location of the incidence was a strategic place due to Him, at a highway and managed to move to the side and touchwood not in the middle of the road. Everything was perfectly nice.

Between, I wished to take this opportunity to wish my Muslim readers a very happy raya!!
