Look at the Visits Coming from Images

It's been a while since my last post. It's not secret that I have lost the desire to keep updating this blog with the PR slap and the SERP drop. I know that when your PR drops, more or less , you will soon see the impact of the PR drop in your Search Engine Ranking Position. Please don't argue with me. Two of my blogs have lost their Page Ranks and sooner the SERP in a lot of keywords dropped as well. Basing on my experience PR is related to SERP.

Anyway, I don't track the visits this blog gets after the SERP drop. I hate seeing the 20 to 30 visits a day compared to over 200 visits daily before prior to the PR and SERP drop. It was only when I noticed in my adsense account the impressions generated by the ads in this blog that I placed the sitemeter to keep track of the daily visits and where the visitors are coming from. To my amazement, this blog is getting over 200 visits a day. The visits come from images.

The day isn't over yet and I already crossed the 200 mark (229 visitors and counting). I placed the sitemeter last Monday and that explains why Saturday and Sunday are at 0 visitors.

About 98% of my visitors came through my blog through images. The particular URL or post that is the point of entry is about Marilyn Monroe's Autopsy Photos. So delighted by this recent progress that I decided to change the template in the hope that I could generate more revenue from adsense. You see, this blog has been dead for months and has yielded almost zero revenue monthly. I will try to make the most of the current daily visitors this A Lady's Confessions Blog is getting and will continue to work on getting more and more visitors everyday.

Absense From Blogging

Noticeably, I have not been able to update this blog. I just lost my desire to keep this blog alive because of the penalty imposed by Google in this particular blog. I've lost my organic traffic and if it were not for a few friends and a few avid readers, i won't be seeing any visitor to this blog. It saddens me to think about this. Well, that's life. Some times you are sailing smoothly and sometimes storms just get in the way. Despite all of these, I have decided to continue blogging and continue building this blog. Carly is definitely one of the most talented contestants for this season's American Idol. In so far as her last performance is concerned, she deserved a double thumbs up! I don't think she deserves to be eliminated. But despite having been critique very nicely by the judges, the 38 million people have spoken. Carly's received votes ain't enough to keep her on the idol stage.

While as for Brooke White and Jason Castro, they were very very lucky despite their not so good performances.

Sudden SERP Drop

Blogging, ranking and just how things work in the internet still puzzle and surprise me. When I thought I already understand some things just come up pointing out to me that I do not fully comprehend what I thought I already understood.

This blog gets more or less 200 visitors a day- very well within this range, ranking high for a lot of keywords. Thus, most of the visitors in this blog come from search engines like google and yahoo and not from link exchanges with other blogs. I don't really bother asking people to link to this blog because I am satisfied with the visitors that the search engines bring to this blog.

But when all things seem right and perfect, the unexpected happens. Today I checked the daily traffic for this blog and what I discovered really disappointed me. I lost more than 50% traffic of what this blog usually, under normal circumstances get. It's a painful truth that I have to tackle with. I lost my SERP for a lot of keywords which makes this blog less visible in the search engines. I'm still confused why the sudden drop in SERP, although I hope these things are just temporary. I hope this is just another glitch or however the internet gurus and SEO experts call it.

Getting back my SERP and the lost visitors is possible but it may mean I will have to start all over again. Am still at lost with how should I deal with these things now. I won't be able to have as much time with blogging as before due to some priorities. I don't know! Perhaps I should just let these things happen without me doing anything and wish that things will turn out right as it should be for this blog.

Amy Rice did an act of heroism for her most precious dog.

A Pit Bull jumped over a fence into Amy's yard and attacked her Labrador Retriever named Ella. Fearing for the life of her labrador retriever, Amy Rice bit the pit bull on the nose after trying to pull the dog's jaws off her Labrador retriever.

Amy saved her Labrador retriever. But she drew blood from the pit bull when she bit it. Her doctor will have to find out if she needs shots for rabies.

This story may be bizarre but it is a display of a pet owner's love for her pets. Ella surely owes her life to Amy!
