6. The last thing I want to say really makes me feel like a dick, but it's come up a lot and I owe it to all of you to be honest and open. I'm not going to lie to you, @you, it's overwhelming, really cool, and a little scary that there are about 53,000 people following me on Twitter. If I think about it too much, like right now, I get freaked out. The way I continue having fun with Twitter is that I do what I want with it, and I hope you'll come along for the ride if you think it's worth it. But if you do follow me, please don't @ complain at me about how often I'm tweeting or what I tweet about. I'm not interested in censoring myself for anyone — not for @you, not for @youtoo, and not even for you, @wilsmom. If you're disappointed that I'm not the kid I used to be, or you decide I talk too much, or you just don't think I'm very interesting, that's cool — no one likes everything or everyone. But don't ask me to change to please you. Just unfollow, and we'll each go our own way, cherishing the time we had together and moving on. No regrets. We'll always have Paris.

Walking over and asking if I got your email which you sent just prior to walking over to ask me if I got it.
Never being able to find printer paper.
Lunches that stick up the joint.

Suit Up

I bought a suit from Indochino.com. This is my second purchase from them is a continuation of excellent customer service. I decided on a suit, and placed my order opting to pay an additional $30 for expedited shipping. According to Indochino’s website expedited shipping is 10 days, down from 14 days for regular shipping. My order was placed on 2.21.09 and in hand 2.26.09. Five days is fantastic from Shanghai.

The suit was made to measure and I will have to take it to a tailor. The quality is fantastic and I will definitely buy from them again once I update my measurements.

Autofocus System - Get Everything Done

Focus on what is important. It’s very difficult to focus on what is important with one’s rational mind alone, because what your conscious mind thinks is important may not be what your subconscious mind thinks is important. What I’ve found is that looking back on what I’ve done I can see that the focus produced by the system feels “right” - right for me in my current circumstances.

Are You Good On Paper?

Recently in conversation women shared their thoughts on men they are involved with. A common component of these talks was the notion of their men being "good on paper". Being "good on paper" was described as a guy with a good stable job, nice, respectful, etc. The man that good mamma's make. This factor is interesting because the women are trying to understand why they are not as into the men who, by the numbers, is a great catch.

I found most interesting that these women, who are intelligent, attractive contributors to society seem oblivious to key components of attraction. For them good on paper equals security, and security equals safety, and safety means predictability and stability. What is absent is the concept of a challenge, and passion.

As expected, I will provide an analogy. For some, the "good on paper" guy is like showing up to a game show, and winning simply by being present. Winning is awesome, but there was no excitement, no passion, no possibility of not winning.

I should charge for this.
