A master's thesis group from the KTH university are creating a requirements specification for the application. As a part of this, they are collecting data using a short survey:<br /><br /><a href="http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=sv&formkey=cFpQOVZCdjdlazBRSGRGa1UtSmVzVHc6MA">http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=sv&formkey=cFpQOVZCdjdlazBRSGRGa1UtSmVzVHc6MA</a><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">EDIT:</span> this survey is in <span style="font-weight: bold;">Swedish only</span>. We are working on an English survey as well.<br /><br />If you can, please fill out this survey. It's called the <span style="font-weight: bold;">BodiBeat</span>, and is a music player combined with a heart-rate monitor, that <span style="font-style: italic;">adapts the tempo of the music after your workout</span>. The concept is a bit similar to <a href="http://research.microsoft.com/vibe/projects/mptrain.aspx">Microsoft's research project MPTrain</a>.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.yankodesign.com/images/design_news/2008/10/09/yamahabodiebeat_03.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 330px; height: 219px;" src="http://www.yankodesign.com/images/design_news/2008/10/09/yamahabodiebeat_03.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:85%;" >Via <a href="http://www.yankodesign.com/2008/10/13/must-run-with-the-beat-yamaha-bodibeat-review/">Yanko Design</a>.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">More news:</span> I created a Zyked channel on YouTube:<br /><a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/ZykedCom">http://www.youtube.com/user/ZykedCom</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8235685035283515697-2075312254003525308?l=www.zyked.com%2Fblog'/></div>Tom Söderlundhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02854956651344458160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8235685035283515697.post-82971128994957390322008-10-05T01:42:00.000-07:002008-10-05T01:44:00.094-07:00Zyked on RailsStarted today working on converting the server backend of Zyked to Ruby on Rails. This is the first post, but I will transfer the old Zyked News to this blog at some point.<br /><br />I'm now in the process of removing bugs, both from the website and the mobile companion. I have started hosting the project at <a href="http://www.unfuddle.com/">Unfuddle</a>, which is a great site.<br /><br />The new version of the mobile companion (v0.3.8) now features the "side-by-side" opponent view while running (see picture).<br /><br />Tom.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8235685035283515697-6757232241290427393?l=www.zyked.com%2Fblog'/></div>Tom Söderlundhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02854956651344458160noreply@blogger.com0
